Abstract

The purpose of this service is to help small traders increase their sales turnover. Before getting halal certification, micro businesses must go through several processes. The first process they do is create a NIB. The process of creating this NIB is created by a business assistant. Here, business actors prepare their KTP, NPWP, must have a cellphone number, and must have an email. Then here we also fill in the cleaning agent and packaging. After the data is filled in, we need to verify the data that has been filled in. After that, we input the product and its photos. After we finish, we make a way to make the product. After that, send it. We wait for the assistant process, after the assistant approves, then we send it again, then the assistant approves again and sends it to P3H, after P3H is completed, it is sent to the fatwa commission after being approved by the fatwa commission, the certificate is issued.

Abstract

This study investigates the pragmatic function of hedges in mental health conversations through a case study of Jay Shetty's interview with Kendall Jenner. Hedges, linguistic devices that convey uncertainty, politeness, or subjectivity, are commonly used in spoken discourse, especially when addressing personal or emotionally sensitive topics. Drawing on the theories of  Hyland (1996) and Brown et al. (1987), this research analyzes how hedging allows speakers to navigate vulnerability, protect face, and manage interpersonal dynamics in a highly public setting. The data were collected from a transcription of the podcast episode and analyzed qualitatively based on hedge types and their communicative roles. Findings show that Kendall Jenner uses hedges such as “I think,” “sometimes,” “kind of,” and “feel like” to soften the emotional weight of her statements, signal uncertainty, and maintain a relatable public image. Jay Shetty also employs hedging as a strategic tool to guide the conversation with empathy. This research contributes a novel perspective by applying pragmatic analysis to celebrity discourse in mental health advocacy, offering valuable insights into how language shapes public vulnerability and self-disclosure.

Abstract

This study explores the fulfilment of love and belonging needs in Elizabeth Bennet, the central character of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, using a psychological approach based on Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. The research examines how Elizabeth navigates relationships, personal growth, and societal expectations to achieve emotional fulfilment. By analysing her interactions with family members, friends, and Mr. Darcy, the study highlights the challenges and resolutions that shape Elizabeth's journey. Misunderstandings, prejudices, and class differences initially hinder Elizabeth’s ability to feel love and belonging, but through mutual respect and emotional growth, these needs are ultimately fulfilled. This qualitative research uses descriptive analysis and intrinsic-extrinsic techniques to reveal the causes and effects of Elizabeth's emotional journey, emphasizing the importance of trust, mutual understanding, and personal growth in fulfilling psychological needs. The findings underscore the complexities of relationships and personal development in achieving love and belonging, offering insights into human behaviour and motivation as reflected in literature.
