Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang sintesis kitosan-arginin dengan katalis piridin dan uji aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Escherichia coli. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh penambahan massa arginin pada kitosan dan variasi suhu reaksi dalam sintesis kitosan-arginin terhadap aktivitas antibakteri Escherichia coli serta membandingkan kitosan dan kitosan-arginin terhadap aktivitas antibakteri Escherichia coli. Sintesis kitosan-arginin dilakukan dengan perbandingan massa (b/b) kitosan:arginin 1:0,5; 1:1; 1:1,25; 1:1,5; 1:2 dan variasi suhu reaksi 60 °C, 80 °C, 100 °C menggunakan katalis piridin untuk mengaktifkan gugus karbonil arginin. Karakterisasi kitosan-arginin meliputi Spektroskopi Sinar Merah (FT-IR), Analisis Termal (TGA-DTA) dan % Nitrogen dengan metode Kjeldahl. Uji aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode Optical Density (OD) λmaks 600 nm pada jam ke-0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24 dan 48. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan massa arginin dan variasi suhu reaksi sintesis kitosan-arginin tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan terhadap daya hambat bakteri. Namun ketika aktivitas antibakteri kitosan jam ke-48 menurun, aktivitas antibakteri kitosan:arginin 1:1,5 pada 80 ᵒC masih meningkat.

Abstract

Hiperkolesterolemia merupakan faktor resiko terjadinya gangguan kardiovaskuler pada diabetes mellitus. Pada diabetes mellitus kekurangan insulin meningkatkan lipolisis sehingga asam lemak bebas meningkat sehingga meningkatan kadar kolesterol total dan kolesterol LDL. Tomat mengandung likopen yang dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol LDL karena mampu menghambat HMG-KoA reduktase. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L.) terhadap kadar kolesterol total dan LDL tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) jantan galur wistar yang diinduksi aloksan.  24 ekor yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok: 1). Kelompok kontrol negatif tanpa perlakuan 2). Kelompok kontrol positif hewan coba yang diinduksi aloksan 3). Kelompok perlakuan yang diinduksi aloksan dan diberi jus tomat dengan dosis 11 gram/KgBB selama 14 hari. Uji One-Way Annova menunjukkan peningkatan kadar kolesterol LDL yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol positif dan kelompok hewan kontrol negatifnamun tidak pada kadar total kolesterol. Rerata kadar total kolesterol dan LDL pada kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan penurunan yang tidak signifikan di bandingkan kelompok hewan coba yang diinduksi aloksan. Pemberian aloksan dengan dosis 150 mg/Kg BB dapat meningkatkan kadar kolesterol LDL secarabermakna namun tidak pada kadar total kolesterol. Pemberian jus tomat dengan dosis 11 gram/KgBB cenderung menurunkan rerata kadar total kolesterol dan LDL.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelapisan kain kasa dengan komposit TiO2/Ag amorf, kitosan/Ag, dan Ag telah dilakukan menggunakan metode dip coating dengan variasi urutan pelapisan. Komposit TiO2/Ag amorf disintesis dengan metode sol gel dalam pelarut etanol. Hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi menggunakan FTIR dan XRD. Kain kasa hasil pelapisan dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD dan dilakukan uji antibakteri menggunakan metode optical density pada λ 600nm terhadap aktivitas bakteri Eschericia coli dan Stapylococcus aureus. Kain kasa dengan urutan pelapisan kitosan/Ag, komposit TiO2/Ag amorf, dan Ag memiliki daya antibakteri optimum. Daya antibakteri kain kasa terhadap E. coli sebesar 98, 66% setelah jam ke-24. Daya antibakteri tersebut lebih besar dibandingkan dengan daya antibakteri terhadap S. aureus yaitu 71,47% setelah jam ke-24. ABSTRACTTiO2/Ag amorphous composite has been synthesized by sol gel method in ethanol. This composite  was characterized using FTIR and XRD. TiO2/Ag amorphous composite, chitosan/ Ag, and Ag coated in gauze using dip coating method with plating sequence variation. Coated gauze was characterized using XRD and antibacterial test was conducted by optical density at λ 600 nm against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The results showed that coated gauze with the sequence was chitosan/Ag, TiO2/Ag amorphous composite, and Ag was optimum antibacterial power. The inhibition against Escherichia coli was greater than Staphylococcus aureus. The inhibition against Escherichia coli was 98.66% for 24 hours and against Staphylococcus aureus was 71.47% for 24 hours.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenurunan kadar protein limbah tahu telah dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan karbon Bagasse teraktivasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi optimum dari karbon teraktivasi NaOH dan H2SO4 dalam menurunkan kadar protein limbah cair tahu dan mengetahui jenis isoterm adsorpsi dari karbon aktif yang digunakan untuk menyerap protein limbah cair tahu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi NaOH yang optimum untuk aktivasi karbon aktif 15%, massa optimum karbon bagasse teraktivasi NaOH adalah 2 g dan penurunan kadar proteinnya 71,95%, sedangkan massa optimum karbon bagasse teraktivasi H2SO4 adalah 1 g dengan penurunan kadar protein sebesar 38,19%. Waktu kontak optimum karbon bagasse teraktivasi  NaOH dan H2SO4 adalah 12 jam. Adsorpsi protein oleh karbon bagasse teraktivasi NaOH mengikuti isoterm adsorpsi Langmuir dan Freundlich sedangkan karbon bagasse teraktivasi H2SO4 dominan mengikuti isoterm Freundlich. ABSTRACTThe protein reduction of tofu wastewater using activated carbon from bagasse  had been conducted. The purposes of this research were to analysis optimum condition of activated carbon bagsse using NaOH and H2SO4 for reduction protein in tofu wastewater, and analysis adsorption isotherm of activated carbon with protein. The result showed that optimum mass of carbon bagasse activated NaOH was  2 g with 71.95% protein reduction, while carbon bagasse activated H2SO4 has 1 g with 38.19% protein reduction. The optimum contact time between protein and activated carbon (with NaOH and H2SO4) was happened in 12 hours. Adsorption protein with carbon bagasse activated NaOH had followed Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm, while adsorption with carbon bagasse activated H2SO4 dominantlyhad followed Freundlich adsorption isotherm

Abstract

Activities at Kemala Bhayangkari 70 Masaran Kindergarten still used conventional painting media using crayons. Initial observations show that learning activities are less attractive to children, activities are less varied monotonous, and learning is more often carried out in the classroom so that the space for children to move is less free, resulting in creativity that does not look optimal. Rubber bands have the potential to become a medium for children's painting activities in kindergarten because children often find them and are often used by children to play. This classroom action research was carried out at Kemala Bhayangkari 70 Masaran Kindergarten in the Odd Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year with the research subject being group B students with a total of 31 children consisting of 16 boys and 15 girls. In this research, the independent variable is creativity in painting with indicators of fluency, authenticity, detail, neatness, harmony. The data collection methods used are observation and documentation. After the researcher held the first cycle by applying the rubber band media, it was obtained that in the first cycle, it increased by 71.67% with the criteria of Developing as Expected (BSH). But the results obtained have not been maximized because they have not reached the mutually agreed success indicator of 80%. For this reason, researchers and collaborating partners held cycle II, with the same learning and activities with a variety of varied color choices. The results achieved in research in cycle II the average percentage of children in 1 class was 84.73% with the Very Well Developed (BSB) assessment criteria. The data shows that children's creativity has increased, for this reason, researchers have succeeded and achieved mutually agreed indicators and it is proven that painting with rubber band media can increase the creativity of Kemala Bhayangkari 70 Kindergarten children  Masaran

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru sangat bervariatif. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru tentu saja sangat mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Terdapat satu model yang dikaji dalam penelitiann ini yaitu model pembelajaran kooperatif khususnya pada materi senam lantai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka dengan upaya pengumpulan dan upaya analisis data manfaatkan berbagai literatur meliputi jurnal dan ekonomi buku, artikel serta sumber lain termasuk foto dan dokumen yang sifatnya elektronik. Analisis kritis terhadap bahan pustaka menyajikan bahwa terkait model pembelajaran kooperatif memberikan keefektifan dalam usaha ditingkatkannya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam gerakan guling depan dan guling belakang. Pendekatan ini mendorong kerjasama antar siswa, memungkinkan mereka untuk belajar dan berinteraksi secara lebih aktif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan model ini meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, hasil evaluasi, dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Siswa yang terlibat menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan berkomunikasi, dan minat belajar. Model pembelajaran kooperatif memberikan peran aktif kepada siswa dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada guru, secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Penjasorkes, membuat proses belajar lebih dinamis dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara sekeluruhan.

Abstract

The recovery of gold from aqueous solutions is crucial due to its economic value and environmental significance, making effective separation technologies essential. To tackle this challenge, development of an adsorbent with enhanced selectivity and high adsorption capacity against Au(III) is highly crucial. This present study harnessed rice husk derived-silica functionalized by (3-trimethoxysilyl)propyldiethylenetriamine (TMPDT) using imprinted ionic method to form SiO2-TMPDT-Au-Imp, specifically designed for the selective adsorption of Au(III). SiO2-TMPDT-Au-Imp demonstrated a significantly higher adsorption capacity about 387% improvement compared to SiO2-TMPDT, highlighting its superior performance. Furthermore, in addition to exhibit several advantageous characteristics that surpass those of other materials tested, underscoring its effectiveness in Au(III) adsorption. SiO2-TMPDT-Au-Imp displayed notable selectivity in competitive metal ion solutions with the preference order of Au(III)/Fe(III) < Au(III)/Cu(II) < Au(III)/Zn(II). The developed SiO2-TMPDT-Au-Imp, in brief, represents a promising advancement in the field of material science and environmental remediation in which it offers a tailored solution for efficient and selective adsorption of Au(III). This study can also be applied for the recovery of Au(III) ions from electronic waste.

Abstract

Problems: Sports in high school are not just physical exercise; they also teach values that will shape students' behavior and personalities in the future. Sports shape one's character and ethics significantly through teaching universal values such as discipline, sportsmanship, honesty, and teamwork. Due to its diverse ethnic population, Indonesia faces its own difficulties in incorporating the universal values of sports into its education system. Purpose: Therefore, it is important to conduct research on the universal values of sports at the high school level from an ethnic perspective to understand the socio-cultural dynamics that occur in Indonesia. Methods: The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The study involved 261 high school student respondents, consisting of 97 Lampung ethnicities and 164 non-Lampung ethnicities, aged between 14 and 18 years. The instrument was to measure the universal values of sport, which consisted of six assessed components. Results: Analysis of the Mann-Whitney u test showed that the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.325 was greater than 0.05, indicating that there was no significant difference in the distribution of universal sports values between the two ethnic groups Lampung and Non-Lampung. Conclusion: Following up on the findings of this study, diverse cultural perspectives are essential for educational programs and approaches objectives, methods, and research results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of junior high school physical education teachers in West Java regarding dominant movement patterns (PGD) in gymnastics and the level of student participation in learning with floor exercise material. The research was conducted through a quantitative descriptive approach. Participants in this research consisted of 45 physical education teachers who were respondents from 15 schools throughout West Java and 287 students of SMPN 10 Cirebon City in grades VII and VIII. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The technical data analysis used is descriptive quantitative, with the results of assessments of all teachers and students carried out using the same tool. The results are divided into five categories: high, high, medium, low, and low. Based on the research results, the level of knowledge of Physical Education Teachers regarding Dominant Movement Patterns (PGD) in gymnastics is high, with a total of 22 teachers (42.3%). In comparison, the lowest are teachers with very low knowledge, with four teachers (7.7%). For student participation in the floor exercise material, most students had low participation, with a total of 136 students (47.4%). In comparison, 60 students (20.9%) were students with the highest involvement, and the fewest were students with very low participation, with a total of 19 students (6.6%).
