<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine local community participation to preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung as tourism attraction. Data collection procedures using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. The results based on the description of local community participation in supporting the preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar regency, West Sumatera as tourist attraction. The types of local community participation to support preservation of Istano Basa Pagaruyung is participation in implementation and participation in taking of benefits. While on the type of participation in decision making and evaluation, the local community does not have an active role. Local communities participate as man power, treasure an skills. While there is no participation of idea or thought that have done by local resident around Istano Basa Pagaruyung tourist attraction. Keywords: Participation, community, concervation]]>

<![CDATA[This study focuses on studying the planning of Puri Sayan Ubud as a heritage tourist attraction in Sayan Village, which is also intended to realize one of the Village missions, namely to become a Tourism Village in order to improve the welfare of local communities. This study has a limited scope in identifying existing conditions of tourism in Puri Sayan and Puri Sayan planning as a heritage tourist attraction. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive and SWOT analysis that refers to tourism product components 4A. The results of this study are in the form of strategies and programs produced by SWOT analysis after identifying existing conditions that refer to tourism product components 4A. The results of this study is about the main planning of Puri Sayan Ubud as an Attraction of Heritage Tourism by designing various programs such as attraction and management that are designed based on the strategy of the result of SWOT analysis that has been done. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT Surabrata is part of Lalanglinggah Village area which has a lot of natural resources. One of them is the Batu Mejan beach. Batu Mejan is one of the beaches with black sand. In addition, these beach also has a moving cape (in Indonesian famous with Tanjung Bergetar). The attractions are quite unique and beautiful. However, the support of local government to develop these tourism product in still lack. This research is to analyze the potential and feasibility study of Batu mejan beach as a touristm product. The data are collected by observation and interviews. The descriptive qualitative analysis is used to get the feasibility of tourism development. The result of the study shows that Batu Mejan beach developed as a tourism product of sixth tourist product characteristics and components of tourism products contained on the Batu Mejan beach.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this article is to identify the management model of ecotourism in the village of Beloi. This research was conducted in the village of Beloi using survey method. Data collection is conducted in-depth interviews and observations to the respondents. Method of sampling is random with interviewees interviewed related parties among others, head of Atauro Island, village chief Beloi, representatives of local communities, and investors. The data collected is analyzed using the concept of ecotourism. These results indicate that the involvement of local communities in tourism activities in the village of Beloi still minimal. Ownership of tourism facilities which are dominated by the Government and investors because the local people can not feel the Beloi Village economic benefits. In addition Management Model of ecotourism in the village is still dominated by Government Beloi and investors. <![CDATA[Tourism destinations in Indonesia have a variety of interesting tourist attractions and many of these tourist attractions become shooting locations or taking pictures of a film scene. By making a tourism destination and tourist attraction becomes a setting of shooting a film is expected to make tourism developing and films “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2” is one of the films that took the place of shooting for the film scene in several tourist attractions in Magelang. the purpose of this research are to know determine the influence of the film “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2” product development, market and marketing at the Rumah Do’a Bukit Rhema. This research uses qualitative data collected through observation , interview , documentation , informans are selected using purposive procedures. Data analysis method used qualitative data analysis.The result of the research shows are the occurrence of product, market and marketing developments at Rumah Do’a Bukit Rhema after being shooting and appearing on scene films Ada Apa Dengan cinta 2. <![CDATA[This research was to analyze The Role of External Agent to Tourism Development of Samiran Tourism Village. Samiran Tourism Village become mainstay tourism attraction at Boyolali Regency. Samiran Tourism Village have natural potential namely Merapi mountain dan Merbabu, Samiran Tourism Village is located on slope of the mountain. The development of Samiran Tourism Village is so rapid, as evidenced by the achievement that 3rd national champion in prestigious event of Tourism Village Competition held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The successfull of Samiran Tourism Village today, because of the high participation of local communities. But, who would have thought tucked into role of external agent in the development. The external agent to become a director in the development of Samiran Tourism Village. This research conducted using qualitative methods, described through descriptive teqniques, data were collected through observation and depth interview on the informant. Selection of informant invitation purposive sampling technique. This study shows the role of external agent as a drafter, the mouthpiece in the information and tourism ambassador in the tourism development at the Samiran Tourism Village. Existing barriers be addressed to the quite and preferably local communities, especially younger generation must be learh how to be independent tourism area, in order to avoid dependency on external agent. <![CDATA[Abstract Kuta Beach as a tourist attraction are visited by many tourists, where there are many activities and facilities that cater to tourists, but nevertheless the high level of use of the road on this tourist attraction resulted in congestion problems, therefore it is necessary to study the impact of congestion to provide good service for tourists. Based on the conducted research that revealed two problems, namely how the situation congestion in Kuta Beach? How does the perception of tourists and congestion in Kuta Beach? To uncover problems in the research using primary and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is also quantitative and qualitative data. The methods of collecting data were used through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Sampling technique and analysis of the data were used descriptive qualitative analysis. Congestion occurs because the research results owned roads Kuta Beach and also tourists who want to cross to a place (Kuta beach, restaurants, hotels, and cafes) cause the termination of an activity transportations activities that cause congestion that occurs. The perception of tourists stated that the perception of tourists on the narrow access road in Kuta Beach dominant states is not very good by 27 people (34%), type the perception of congestion problems at Kuta Beach dominant is not well stated 32 people (40%), tourist perception that congestion disturbing activity or work activity trips traveled dominant states are very disturbing as many as 43 people (54%).]]>

<![CDATA[This research is located in Pakraman Karang Sari, Village Office Suana, Nusa Penida in tourist attraction Pura Goa Giri Putri which aims to determine the function of local communities in the management of the attraction in the development and planning as a community-based tourism destination. Data collection techniques in this study, by observation, in-depth interviews with 6 informant, and documentation study by taking a picture in the attractions of Goa Giri Putri. The data have been analyzed with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques are broadly communicating, and systematic explanation of the data obtained in the field with the aim of obtaining a clear picture and objektif. The result of this research is the role of local communities in the management of a tourist attraction Pura Goa Giri Putri is as pengemong / pengempon who have the responsibility to maintain and grow attractions Goa Giri Putri directly or indirectly such as participating maintain cleanliness, keeping tourist attraction Goa Giri Putri, keeping pemedek or tourists who visit and support the implementation of the current pujawali ceremony / ceremony at Pura Goa Giri Putri with managers and other stakeholders. <![CDATA[The development of the tourism industry currently leads to the main lines that becomes a link between tourists generating regions and tourists destination regions. This study aims to assess the current development of a tourist attraction in the transit route that can be monitored through the mapping process and the division of the tourism clusters based on tourism products and location. The location of this research is located in the transit route along between of Badung-Regency and Bedugul. The data sources are from primary and secondary data. Methods of collecting the datas are interviewandobservation.In this report, the data presented in the form of a map based on observations and interviews. This research’s scope is limited by the concept of tourist attractions, concept of tourism clusters and concept of transit regions. The results-obtained from this research is there are mapping of tourist attractions based on administration territory along the transit route. Tourist attractions are divided into two types, natural tourist attractions and artificial tourist attractions. Tourist attractions in the transit route are concentrated based on tourism products and location tourist attraction. The tourist attractions are located in the middle of five villages that adjacently with Badung-regency as tourist generating regions and Bedugulas tourist destination regions. <![CDATA[Lamongan regency is a region with many cultural heritage and is also a path of spreading Islam by Walisongo and Sunan in East Java, this makes Lamongan regency famous for its religious tourism, but besides that there is one new alternative tourist destination that is Tourism Village Sendang Duwur. This tourist village has various types of tourism potentials that have not been explored optimally, so it still needs to explore the potential so that it can create new tourism products that are relevant to their potential. This study aims to explore the tourism potential in Sendang DuwurTourism Village, as well as create new tourism products relevant to the available tourism potential. The types of data used qualitative data and quantitative data, with data collection conducted by observation, documentation, literature study and in-depth interviews. Data analysis used is data analysis of flow model consisting of three stages (data reduction, data display, and data verification) by using concept of tourism potency and tourism component concept. The results of this study indicate that in general the Village Tour Sendang Duwur has three types of tourism potential namely the potential of natural tourism, cultural tourism potential, and the potential of man-made tourism, where this potential has not been explored to the fullest. So from the results of potential excavations are created new products relevant to the potential that is owned and certainly can support tourism activities in the Village Tour Sendang Duwur.The creation of new products is expected to increase the variety of attractions contained in the Village Sendang Duwur and of course can be used as a consideration for further development of tourism potential.
