Abstract

In fulfilling demand at PT. Garut Makmur Perkasa, the production process often experiences errors in recording and reporting, including in exchanging information between departments. This is caused by a lack of control in the recording process which still relies on manual methods and the absence of special procedures that regulate this process. Frequent errors in recording and reporting cause communication between departments to be hampered. Therefore, companies need Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which regulate work procedures in the production process. To support this, an integrated information system is needed that can replace manual methods with digital methods. The method used in this research uses the waterfall method and SOP design uses the Cross Functional Flowchart method combined with narrative. This research only reaches the prototype stage of the manufacturing information system which was created using Canva web design simulation. This research produced a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the production department, wetblue leather warehouse department, and finished goods warehouse department to help the company maintain employee consistency and performance. And a manufacturing information system to make it easier for employees to manage the recording process and exchange information between departments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah produk yang harus di produksi untuk periode berikutnya dan mengetahui kapasitas produksi perusahaan. Pendekatan masalah yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan metode perencanaan agregat, jadwal induk produksi dan Rought Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada stasiun 1 dan stasiun 2 adanya perubahan pada kapasitas produksi. Untuk stasiun 1 kapasitas produksi masih belum mencukupi, sedangakan pada stasiun 2 kapasitas produksi berlebih sehingga akan mengakibatkan terjadinya waktu pekerja yang menganggur. Untuk mengefisiensikan waktu dan biaya, maka dari itu dilakukan perpindahan pekerja dari stasiun 2 dipindahkan ke stasiun 1

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of work systems in brick making in small brick businesses. In this business, there are complaints from workers who often complain of pain in several parts of their body after they work. There are several complaints of musculoskeletal disorders experienced by workers, especially during the process of taking bricks to the drying area. Some of the work postures produced include a bent posture for quite a long time. The aim of the research is to improve the work system in brick making in terms of ergonomics related to work posture analysis, designing tools and improving work methods. The method used is a qualitative method guided by the Rapid Upper Assessment (RULA) posture analysis method. The results of the research show that the risk is high. After finding an unfavorable working posture, a tool is made that can change the work posture that is not suitable when working to a better one. The tool designed is making a drying mat in the form of an ergonomic rack.

Abstract

At Thexild Apparel Convection, there is a problem that workers often experience complaints of Musculoskeletal (Muscle) pain while working, which causes workers to often ask for additional time off because they feel this pain, causing work productivity to decrease. The aim of this research is to design ergonomic tailoring chairs and tables to increase work productivity. The methods used in this research are the Nordic Body Map to identify pain complaints, EFD (Ergonomic Function Deployment) and Anthropometrics are used to design products, and the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) Method is used to analyze product design results. The results of this research resulted in an ergonomic design of tailor's chairs and tables by applying a stabilizer feature where the position of the chairs and tailor's tables could be adjusted to reduce complaints of musculoskeletal (muscle) pain felt by workers. Then, making the tailor's table multi-functional from being usually only used for sewing, this design is also made for cutting work, patterning raw materials to be sewn, then also adds a place to store raw materials to be sewn and those that have already been sewn. Therefore, workers will be more productive and will not need to ask for additional rest time, which will increase work productivity by 45.33% from before.

Abstract

Transisi metoda perkuliahan dari Online yang sudah berlangsung dua tahun, kembali ke metoda pekuliahan Offline berdampak pada mahasiswa yang mengalami beban kerja pada saat melaksanakannya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja mental mahasiswa pada saat transisi perkuliahan Online ke Offline kemudian dibandingkan dengan saat perkuliahan dilaksanakan normal Offline. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metoda Nasa-TLX. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa transisi perkuliahan Online ke Offline mahasiswa mengalami beban kerja mental yang tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata WWL 66,33% sedangkan pada saat perkuliahan normal Offline mengalami penurunan dengan nilai rata-rata WWL 60,84%. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa mulai terbiasa dengan kuliah Offline. Rekomendasi perbaikan yakni perkuliahan dilaksanakan secara Offline karena banyak hal positif yang didapat oleh mahasiswa. Hal tersebut saling berkesinambungan antara hasil pengolahan Nasa-TLX, hal yang dirasakan mahasiswa selama perkuliahan Online transisi dan Offline, serta pendapat mahasiswa mengenai perkuliahan yang ideal. Sebagai bentuk persiapan bilamana nantinya terjadi perubahan sistem perkuliahan kembali, lakukan sosialisasi terlebih dahulu kepada mahasiswa serta memberikan perlakuan khusus dengan cara transisi secara bertahap agar mahasiswa beradaptasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan minyak atsiri di dunia semakin pesat dikarenakan manfaatnya yang sangat beragam, diantaranya sebagai bahan parfum, kosmetik, obat, dan aromaterapi. Kabupaten Garut merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki lahan pengembangan budidaya kapulaga bahkan dikenal sebagai salah satu sentranya, maka dari itu perancangan usaha minyak atsiri kapulaga layak dianalisis untuk memanfaatkan hasil panen kapulaga yang ada di kabupaten garut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada identifikasi proses produksi dan studi kelayakan usaha dalam pengolahan kapulaga menjadi produk minyak atsiri berdasarkan aspek teknis dan aspek finansial. Berdasarkan aspek teknis, usaha minyak kapulaga layak untuk dijalankan karena pengeluaran selama kegiatan produksinya memperoleh keuntungan. Sedangkan berdasarkan aspek finansial, diperoleh data perhitungan 1 tahun dengan Harga Pokok Produksi didapatkan senilai Rp 276.720.000. Dengan minyak yang dihasilkan sebanyak 120 kg, bahan baku yang digunakan sebanyak 4800 kg. Harga jual minyak kapulaga adalah senilai Rp 3.000.000/kg dengan mengikuti harga pasaran, dengan perolehan keuntungan adalah Rp 694.000/kg. Payback period yang didapatkan adalah 1,13 tahun, BEP Operasional senilai Rp 276.720.000 atau sama dengan 94 kg, berdasarkan BEP operasional berarti harus dapat menjual minyak kapulaga sebanyak 94 kg untuk mengembalikan modal Perusahaan. Sedangkan berdasarkan BEP Investasi, penjualan minyak kapulaga harus terjual sebanyak 136 kg dalam waktu 1,13 tahun. Net Present Value didapatkan senilai Rp 72.360.000 dengan Tingkat diskonto sebesar 10% pada period ke 2, periode tersebut mengikuti waktu pengembalian modal pada perhitungan payback period. NPV didapatkan senilai Rp 59.801.653, dan IRR yang didapat pada usaha minyak kapulaga adalah sebesar 77%, maka usaha layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

A product must have good quality by maintaining or improving its quality to satisfy customers. Good quality tempeh products must meet the standards of SNI 314:2015. Many Tempeh Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) still have been unable to meet it. This study aims to determine the production process that meets the quality requirements of SNI 3144:2015 and is feasible for use as a business. The method used is to compare local tempeh SMEs with tempeh entrepreneurs certified by SNI 3144:2015, as well as laboratory testing. For business feasibility analysis, the aspects analyzed are organizational and management, market and marketing, technical, environmental, legal, and financial aspects. The study results indicate that the quality of tempeh produced by local SMEs has met four of the eight SNI 3144:2015 standards. In the technical aspect, namely the production process, it is necessary to provide wet and dry areas for the production process. Wet area for processes that use much water such as boiling, soaking, breaking soybeans, washing, separating the skin, watering with warm water, cooking, rewashing, and fermentation. Dry area for packaging and fermentation process for tempeh production. The results of the business feasibility analysis, especially in the marketing aspect, show that the best scenario for SMEs is to combine marketing of SNI tempeh products and products without SNI to reach a larger market. The financial aspect analysis shows that Tempeh SMEs with SNI are feasible to run with NVP and IRR values that meet the requirements, and the investment return period is 1 Year 6 Months 19 Days.

Abstract

This research is focused on overcoming the production capacity problems faced by PT Garut Makmur Perkasa (GMP). The main objective of this research is to increase the company's production capacity by overcoming bottlenecks that occur in the production process. The methodology used involves Theory of Constraints (TOC) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) approaches as the main methods, which are supported by other analytical tools. In the initial stage, an evaluation was conducted of the workflow to identify bottlenecks occurring in the lot preparation, soaking-liming, delimming-tanning, and retanning processes. The analysis revealed that capacity differences in the production system resulted in the backlog of work in some areas, limiting overall production performance. The results of the calculations and analysis showed that the necessary solutions included the addition of labor and machinery at certain stages. Recommendations included the addition of 6 workers in the lot preparation area, procurement of 2 new machines in the soaking-liming and delimming-tanning processes, and one additional retanning machine. The main contribution of this research is to provide practical guidance for GMP in optimizing operational efficiency and productivity. The long-term implication of implementing this solution is the potential for increased production capacity, improved resource utilization efficiency, and improved company performance.

Abstract

Mutbiea is one of the screen printing shops where the process is completed in a standing position. Screen printing in a standing position can cause soreness in several parts of the body. The soreness is felt in the neck, back, hands, and feet. Improvements that can be made to reduce soreness due to standing are to evaluate posture using the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method. Based on the REBA calculation to reduce the risk of posture, a tool design is carried out using the NIDA (Need, Idea, Decision, and Action) method. In the NIDA method, the use of EFD (Ergonomic Function Deployment) can be used to determine the need for ergonomic tools. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the tools for the printing process need to be redesigned. This is because the splicing activity carried out by four operators has a REBA score between 5-7 with a moderate risk level so that the operator's posture needs to be explored further so that changes can be made immediately. Meanwhile, for the drying activity, three operators have a score of 5-7 with a moderate risk level and one operator with a score of 3 has a slight risk. After designing a new screen printing tool, the risk level of posture using RULA has decreased to 3 with a low risk level.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) often face challenges in meeting growing market demands. One of the main issues is the inability to balance workload, which causes employees to work harder to achieve production targets. This increases the risk of worker fatigue and can reduce quality and productivity. This study aims to analyze the work system and identify improvement solutions to increase production capacity and reduce physical workload. Using the Macroergonomics Analysis and Design (MEAD) method, this study identified factors that affect worker performance, such as organization, equipment, physical environment, and working conditions. The results showed that improving the work system through the design of tools and workbenches can shorten the som sewing process time from an average of 900 seconds to 11 seconds, increasing production capacity from 8,120 pcs to 28,000 pcs. In addition, employees' physical workload was also reduced, which was validated using RULA, where the initial risk score decreased from 5 (medium risk) to 3 (low risk) after the improvement.
