Abstract

Konektivitas manusia dan teknologi merupakan kata kunci dalam memenangkan persaingan di era Industrial Revolution 4.0. Konektivitas tersebut kemudian mendorong terjadinya perubahan yang signifikan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia. Perubahan yang paling jelas terlihat adalah pada bidang ekonomi (bisnis). Hal itu tercermin dari bergesernya paradigma bisnis dari owner menjadi sharing, yang memungkinkan setiap orang memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk memulai bisnisnya masing-masing tanpa terkendala modal, jarak, dan waktu. Bagi masyarakat Kejawan Gebang Putih, kesempatan demikian menjadi terkendala oleh kesulitan dalam pembuatan pembukuan keuangan. Masalah utama terletak pada bukan pada faktor mencapai keuntungan, malainkan bagaimana mengelola keuntungan terebut menjadi modal yang bisa diputar untuk usaha lain atau menambah jenis usaha. Hasil pengabdian memperlihatkan kemajuan dalam usaha baik kuliner maupun jasa saat masyarakat setempat sudah memahami bagaimana pembukuan keuangan dijalankan.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is united in diversity. It is reflected in the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, Pancasila, and the 1945 Constitution. This research aims to determine the role of schools, civics education, Pancasila, and the views of religions and religious communities in Indonesia in realizing civil society. From the results of this study, it was found that the high level of diversity in Indonesia had occurred long ago and has continued until now and in the future. In this case, schools have a significant role in developing unity in diversity. Also, civic education, Pancasila, and religion have a role in unity in diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pelatihan social entrepeneurship merupakan salah satu cara untuk menjawab masalah social ekonomi masyarakat pinggiran di kota. Sasaran utama dari kegiatan ini adalah para pemuda dari karangtaruna di daerah Tandes, Surabaya Barat. Strategi dan metode yang dipraktikkan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pemberian materi dengan ceramah, diskusi dan melihat video inspirasi dari Youtube. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan ketrampilan berpikir para pemuda agar lebih berdaya secara sosial. Lebih dari itu, harapannya dengan memberikan wawasan mengenai social entrepeneurship dapat menjadi modal awal untuk menjadi mewujudkan kemandirian dari masyarakat khususnya di daerah pinggiran kota melalui usaha melakukan perubahan berbasis social ekonomi.

Abstract

Dusun Sekargadung, Desa Balerejo, Kecamatan Panggungrejo, Kabupaten Blitar dikenal dengan sebutan kampung Mualaf karena sebagian besar masyarakatnya yang dahulu beragama non-Islam menjadi mualaf dengan memeluk agama Islam. Dengan status sebagai mualaf yang baru memeluk agama Islam, berarti akidah Islamnya masih rapuh dan rentan terhadap berbagai tantangan dan ujian keimanan sehingga diperlukan upaya-upaya penguatan atau peningkatan akidah. Melalui program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (Abmas), para Mualaf di Desa Balerejo ini diberi materi penguatan akidah Islam dengan tujuan untuk membentengi mereka dari rentannya pemurtadan atau pendangkalan akidah yang dilakukan oleh aktifis penganut agama yang mereka peluk sebelumnya di wilayah tersebut. Metode kegiatan Abmas yang dilakukan yakni ceramah dan dialog interaktif, workshop praktek ibadah, dan terakhir pemberian santunan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman Mualaf akan akidah Islam serta meningkatnya kemampuan para Mualaf untuk menunaikan ibadah dengan benar seperti berwudhu dan sholat sesuai tuntunan Rasulullah SAW, sehingga mereka tidak rentan untuk menjadi murtad (kembali ke ajaran agama sebelumnya), tidak melakukan perbuatan musyrik, dan mampu membentengi akidah Islam mereka supaya tidak mudah luntur dalam situasi dan kondisi apapun. Pada akhir kegiatan, Mualaf mendapat santunan berupa perlengkapan alat sholat, serta sembako untuk meringankan beban ekonomi kehidupan mereka. Kegiatan ini sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan harapan agar akidah para mualaf meningkat kualitasnya.

Abstract

COVID-19 virus has been putting many people's health in peril and causing social anxiety, insecurity, and mayhem. It has become a public enemy. Collaboration between all sectors and community involvement are required to control the spread and negative effects of COVID-19. The beauty industry has emerged as one of several crucial sectors in the fight against COVID-19 Because they can make hand sanitizers, cleansers, hand gel, and lotions in large quantities that can protect the community and encourage community to stay healthy. This research explores the roles played by some locally produced beauty products in Indonesia in empowering women and girls to protect themselves from COVID-19. The study uses qualitative research methods. It examines ten cosmetics companies and incorporates interpretative analysis and web content analysis. The study examines the data from the perspective of community education and humanities. According to the study, the beauty industries typically employ three major strategies to educate their female and young girl customers. The first educational strategy is promoting self-health protection to make wellness and health goods. The second approach involves teaching women new healthy routines, safe, healthy makeup practices, and strict mask wearing and health plan implementation. The third strategy involves taking part in social educational activities that support and promote social skills among women and girls, such as empathy, care, and support. The study shows that women education is not only the responsibility of educational institutions, but also the business or industries sectors.

Abstract

Discussing the radicalism of religion and global terrorism is a globalchallenge that is now a worldwide concern, including for the Islamiccommunity in Indonesia. Research in this paper with an analytical descriptiveapproach using the documentative method. The general purpose of thisresearch is to understand the root causes of terrorism and religiousradicalism in Indonesia? What is the solution of Islam to overcome theproblem of religious radicalism and global terrorism? The results of thisresearch show: first, the historical roots of global terrorism and religiousradicalism is a very complex portrait of social, political, and economichistory. Also, the complexity of local, regional and global problems areinterconnected with one another. Second, the Islamic solution to overcomethis problem with the Islamic approach to peace for all (rahmatan lil alamin)which prioritizes the path of dialogue and world peace.

Abstract

Development is a social process that aims to enhance the environmentand the quality of communal life. Sustainability happens as a result ofthe environment serving as a living space and a source of additionalvalue. The following environmental factors must be integrated into adevelopment plan: biogeophysics, social, economic, cultural, and publichealth. PT PERTAMINA (Corporate Company) in collaboration withRosneft Oil Company will build and operate a new oil and petrochemicalintegrated refinery and its supporting facilities. About 27,000 peoplewere hired for the building phase, and about 3,000 for the operationphase. This study aims to lessen the detrimental effects of developmentplans on public health. This qualitative study is a cross-sectionaldescriptive investigation of the area surrounding the proposed refineryin East Java Province, Indonesia's Jenu District and Tuban Regency.The study's findings were determined through firsthand observationand a poll of 100 residents who would be impacted by the developmentplan. The findings show that, to prevent environmental disputes,environmental management and monitoring must be carried out.
