Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) merupakan salah satu bentuk penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang menitikberatkan pada peletakan dasar ke arah pertumbuhan dan dan perkembangan, yaitu: perkembangan moral dan agama, perkembangan fisik (koordinasi motorik halus dan kasar), kecerdasan kognitif (daya pikir, daya cipta), sosio emosional (sikap dan emosi), bahasa dan komunikasi, sesuai dengan keunikan dan tahap-tahap perkembangan sesuai kelompok usia yang dilalui oleh anak usia dini. Dalam pelaksanaannya lembaga PAUD harus memikirkan segala bentuk pengelolaan terkait seluruh komponen yang ada di PAUD tersebut. Berdasarkan empat komponen manajemen PAUD yaitu komponen manusia, sarana dan prasarana, program kerja, dan lingkungan, maka menurut Wiyani (2015) ruang lingkup manajemen PAUD terdiri atas: 1) manajemen sumber daya manusia (dalam hal ini terkait peningkatan kualitas pendidik PAUD dan staf PAUD), 2) manajemen kurikulum PAUD (yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan pengelolaan kegiatan akademik), 3) manajemen peserta didik PAUD (dimulai dari perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru sampai dengan pengaturan peserta didik yang telah lulus), 4) manajemen sarana dan prasarana PAUD (proses pendayagunaan sarana dan prasarana secara efektif dan efisien), 5) manajemen keuangan PAUD (pengurusan dan pertanggungjawaban dalam penyelenggaraan layanan PAUD), 6) manajemen hubungan masyarakat PAUD (hubungan lembaga PAUD dengan masyarakat untuk mendukung keberhasilan layanan PAUD).

Abstract

Gaya hidup hedonis merupakan fenomena yang banyak terjadi di masyarakat, dimana individu berusaha untuk berpenampilan menarik dengan mengejar kepuasan materi sehingga hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Perilaku konsumtif merupakan sikap individu yang didasari oleh kesenangan semata tanpa mementingkan fungsi atau kegunaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu merupakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah 227 partisipan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala gaya hidup hedonis, skala perilaku konsumtif individu dewasa awal yang berusia 20 sampai 30 tahun dan pernah berbelanja produk fashion. Hasil data yang diperoleh akan diuji menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya hidup hedonis terhadap perilaku konsumtif, dengan memperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0.291 atau sebanyak 29.1%.

Abstract

Human intelligence is not limited to one area, but consists of several intelligences or known as multiple intelligences. There are 8 types of intelligence according to Howard Gardner, namely: Linguistic Intelligence; Logical mathematical intelligence; Musical intelligence; Kinesthetic intelligence; Visual spatial intelligence; Interpersonal intelligence; and Naturalist intelligence. The intelligence that a person has needs to be developed optimally, for self-development and future planning. To be able to develop this intelligence, a person needs to first find and recognize what abilities he has, one way is to test Multiple intelligence. Seeing the importance of recognizing the intelligence that is possessed, the Faculty of Psychology - Tarumanagara University - Jakarta in collaboration with Panti Asuhan X (Mitra) held a Multiple intelligence test and seminar. The purpose of the activity is: to map the intelligence of participants in addition to the personal interests of participants and Partners. so that Partners can create the right learning program in addition to the main learning at school. The results of this test will later be able to describe the Multiple intelligence possessed by each participant. The 3 highest results are the 3 dominant Multiple intelligences. From the evaluation of the activities carried out, the participants gave test imonies that the 3 largest scores from the test were in accordance with the participants' conditions, and were further strengthened by the test scores obtained. Mitra also explained that many of the participants were indeed involved in activities and programs at Mitra that were in accordance with the multiple intelligences they had. ABSTRAK Kecerdasan yang dimiliki manusia tidak hanya terbatas pada satu areal saja, tetapi terdiri dari beberapa kecerdasan atau dikenal dengan multiple intelligence. Ada 8 jenis kecerdasan menurut Howard Gardner, yaitu: Kecerdasan Linguistik; Kecerdasan logika matematika; Kecerdasan musical; Kecerdasan kinestetik; Kecerdasan visual spasial; Kecerdasan interpersonal; dan Kecerdasan naturalis. Kecerdasan yang dimiliki seseorang perlu dikembangkan secara maksimal, untuk pengembangan diri dan perencanaan masa depan. Untuk dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan tersebut, seseorang perlu terlebih dahulu menemukan dan mengenali kemampuan apa yang dimilikinya, salah satu caranya adalah dengan test Multiple intelligence. Melihat pentingnya mengenali kecerdasan yang dimiliki, maka Fakultas Psikologi – Universitas Tarumanagara – Jakarta bekerja sama dengan Panti Asuhan X (Mitra) mengadakan kegiatan test dan seminar Multiple intelligence. Tujuan kegiatan adalah : memetakan kecerdasan peserta selain untuk kepentingan pribadi peserta dan Mitra. sehingga Mitra dapat membuat program pembelajaran yang tepat disamping pembelajaran utama di sekolah. Hasil dari test ini nantinya akan dapat mengambarkan Multiple intelligence yang dimiliki masing-masing peserta. 3 hasil tertinggi adalah 3 Multiple intelligence yang dominan. Dari evaluasi kegiatan yang dilakukan, para peserta memberikan test imoni bahwa 3 skor terbesar dari test adalah sesuai dengan keadaan peserta, dan makin dikuatkan dengan skor test yang didapat. Mitra juga menjelaskan bahwa banyak juga diantara peserta yang memang terlibat dalam kegiatan dan program di Mitra yang sesuai dengan multiple intelligence yang dimiliki.

Abstract

The continuously evolving fashion trends, which show no signs of slowing down, have negative impacts on both individuals and the environment. This phenomenon also drives consumers to constantly follow trends without proper financial planning, leading to impulsive buying behavior. This study aims to identify the influence of financial literacy on impulsive buying of fashion products. The data in this research were obtained using a quantitative approach, with participants aged 18–25 years, representing various genders, locations, and monthly expenditure levels, and having prior experience with impulsive purchases of fashion products in the recent past. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, resulting in a total of 86 respondents. The data were analysed with simple regression and processed using SPSS 26. The study found that financial literacy has a significant negative effect on impulsive buying behavior, particularly among Gen Z consumers in the context of fashion products.

Abstract

Technology continues to evolve rapidly, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) becoming increasingly utilized across various sectors. Currently, AI technology has permeated the sphere of human social interaction, functioning as companions or partners, typically manifested through chatbot-based conversational applications. The progression of time, culture, and technology presents new challenges for the development of social skills in young adults. Given the prevalence of AI-based chatbot applications, this study aims to explore the role of young adults' perceptions of Character Artificial Intelligence on their social skills. This research utilized a quantitative method employing simple regression data analysis techniques. The findings indicate that young adults' perceptions of Character Artificial Intelligence contribute positively and significantly, accounting for 9.9% of the variance in social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of academic stress levels on the ability of non-local (migrant) students to achieve social integration. The research is motivated by the urgency of understanding how academic pressures experienced by students influence their social adaptation processes, particularly for those living far from their home environments and families. Migrant students often face dual challenges: high academic demands and the need to adjust to a new social environment with different cultures, habits, and social interactions. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational method, a specially designed questionnaire was distributed to obtain data measuring academic stress levels and students' social integration abilities. The data were then analyzed using Pearson’s correlation analysis to identify the relationship between the two variables. The findings indicate a significant negative effect between academic stress and social integration. This suggests that higher levels of academic stress among students are associated with lower capacities for social integration. These results highlight the importance of interventions in the form of academic and psychosocial support both from educational institutions and families to facilitate a more effective and comprehensive social adaptation process for migrant students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between the absence of a father's role and emotional management in adolescent girls. The background of this study is based on the need to recognize the psychological consequences of the lack of a father's role in the lives of adolescent girls in order to support their emotional well-being. In this study, a quantitative approach was used with a correlational analysis method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to adolescent girls and then analyzing them using the Spearman method. The findings of this study indicate a significant negative relationship between the absence of a father's role and emotional management. The absence of a father's role has a significant impact on how adolescent girls manage their emotions. This study provides an important message for parents, especially fathers, to be more actively involved in their children's lives, both physically and emotionally, in order to help develop good emotional management skills in children.

Abstract

Migrant students often face psychological challenges while pursuing higher education away from their hometowns, including academic pressure, loneliness, and the need to adapt to new environments. These conditions can affect their mental balance if not supported by adequate social relationships. This study aims to examine how social support contributes to the mental health of migrant college students. The research used a quantitative approach with a correlational explanatory design. Data were collected from 214 migrant students through an online questionnaire measuring levels of social support and positive mental health. Analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to identify the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that higher levels of social support are associated with better mental health among migrant students. Support from family, friends, and significant others helps them manage stress, build a sense of security, and maintain optimism throughout their academic journey. These findings highlight the importance of social support as a protective factor that strengthens psychological well-being among students living away from their familiar environment.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the picture of altruism in individuals who set up shelters for abandoned animal rescue in Indonesia. Altruism in this context is characterized by selfless actions driven by deep empathy for the suffering of abandoned animals. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in- depth interviews and observations of four participants who were aged 20-60 years old and had managed a shelter for at least six months. The results showed that the participants' motivation was driven by various factors, such as high empathy, pure intention, internal motivation, and prioritization of others' welfare. The forms of altruism demonstrated include rescuing animals from dangerous environments, providing safe shelter, medical care for injured or sick animals, and educating the public to raise awareness about animal welfare. However, participants face various challenges, including limited funding, lack of community support, lack of human resources, and emotional distress from seeing the constant suffering of animals. Despite this, their dedication remains high, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on abandoned animals. This research confirms that altruism plays an important role in creating positive social change, not only to improve animal welfare but also to inspire people about the importance of caring for living beings. This study contributes to the understanding of altruistic actions in the unique context of abandoned animal rescue in Indonesia.
