Abstract

Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari penggunaan Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) sebagai alternatif sumber belajar dalam bidang pendidikan. Menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi keefektifan CAL dalam proses pembelajaran dan mengukur potensi penggunaannya sebagai alternatif sumber belajar. Seiring dengan peningkatan integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan, CAL menjadi metode inovatif yang memadukan teknologi dalam kurikulum, membawa proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan interaktif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 responden untuk meneliti pengaruh pemanfaatan CAL terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa. Analisisnya mencakup uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan fokus pada Sikap, Motivasi Belajar, Kemudahan Penggunaan, dan Hasil Belajar. Temuan menunjukkan adanya pengaruhyang signifikan dari Kemudahan Penggunaan dan Sikap terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar. Keefektifan model ini dalam menjelaskan variasi pada konstruk tersebut ditandai dengan nilai R-square yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa CAL sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar alternatif yang penting, terutama dalam era digitalisasi pendidikan saat ini. Temuan ini merekomendasikan integrasi lebih lanjut dari teknologi seperti CAL dalam kurikulum pendidikan dan pengembangan strategi untuk mengatasi kendala dalam aksesibilitas.

Abstract

Based on an analysis of existing data, it can be concluded that game-based learning has a significant impact on the motivation and Mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 1.007. Game-based learning is most effective when applied at the higher education and high school levels. The most effective type of game is digital gaming. Factors contributing to the impact of game-based learning on motivation and Mathematics learning outcomes include the rapid development of gaming technology and the ease of accessing gaming technology.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) model. TPS, which involves individual thinking stages, partner collaboration, and idea exchange, is implemented as an innovative strategy for understanding mathematics. The aim of this research is to evaluate the extent to which the implementation of the TPS model influences student learning. The research method involves Meta-Analysis, where 40 studies were obtained from the search, and 10 studies were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Meta-Analysis is used to determine the combined effect size by analyzing the selected studies that applied the TPS model. The anticipated results of this study are expected to provide insights into the effectiveness of the TPS learning model. Therefore, this research contributes to the development of teaching methods focused on achieving optimal learning outcomes. This study indicates that the Random Effect (RE) Model size from the implementation of the TPS learning method in improving mathematical problem-solving skills is 0.81, classified as a moderate effect

Abstract

This study aimed to conduct a meta-analysis of the application of Knisley's mathematical learning model and its impact on students' mathematics abilities. Research begins with formulating a research problem tracking the research results that are relevant for analysis. The data was collected by browsing the electronic journals through Google Scholar, a Garuda portal with the keywords "Knisley mathematical learning model" and "Mathematical ability". From the search, I obtained 86 articles, but relevant only 12 articles from journals that entered the inclusion criteria to be analyzed with the site meta-mar to obtain a large combination effect size. From the interpretation of the measurement of this combined effect, the overall application of the Knisley Model has a strong influence on the student's mathematical abilities. Characteristics of the study were researched in terms of education and years of research. From statistics, if the application of the Knisley Model to improve the ability of the student's mathematical reasoning is influenced by the level of education and years of research

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan (Media audio visual interaktif dan konvensional menggunakan LKS) dan motivasi belajar prakarya terhadap hasil belajar prakarya siswa kelas  XI di MA Syekh Manshur. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain faktorial, dengan satu variabel bebas yang terdiri atas dua dimensi, satu variabel moderator yang terdiri atas dua dimensi, dan satu variabel terikat. Terdapat Pengaruh langsung antara penggunaan Media audio visual interaktif dan motivasi belajar. Penggunaan Media audio visual interaktif memberikan nilai F hitung 5,982 dan signifikan pada 0,04 hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar. Motivasi memberikan nilai F hitung sebesar 12,634 dan signifikan pada 0,013. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan hasi belajar yang diperoleh siswa kelas eksperime dan kontrol. Hasil interaksi Media audio visual interaktif dan motivasi belajar memberikan nilai F hitung sebesar 25,382 dan signifikan pada 0,05. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh bersama atau joint effect antara Media audio visual interaktif dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan (Media audio visual interaktif dan konvensional menggunakan LKS) dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci : Media Audio Visual, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

This research develops learning media with a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) approach based on Augmented Reality (AR) to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities on geometric concepts. This method uses design-based research (DBR). The development stages consist of needs assessment and literature review, design and development, user testing to analyze user responses and evaluation and examination of the media devices being developed. The research subjects for expert tests included media experts and education experts, practicality tests for teachers, response tests for ten high school students, and examination stage tests for 30 high schools in Indonesia. The instruments used were media expert questionnaires, education expert questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and tests. The media developed is called Augmented Reality Mathematics (ARM). The results of this research are 1) ARM media expert test in the very good category, 2) ARM educational media expert test in the very good category, 3) ARM media practicality test in the good category, 4) responses from students who use ARM media in the very good category, and 5) ARM media can improve mathematical problem-solving abilities in the moderate category. The findings of this research are that AR media is effectively used to improve students' problem-solving abilities in medium-category geometry concepts using the STEAM approach. This research concludes that using ARM media with STEAM learning can improve problem-solving abilities in geometric concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran yang belum tepat pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa terutama pada materi perbandingan trigonometri. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini diterapkanlah model pembelajaran LAPS – Heuristik untuk melihat apakah berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan dengan desain penelitian yaitu The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 6 Kota Serang dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah kelas X1 (kelas eksperimen) jumlah 31 siswa dan X6 (kelas control) jumlah 34 siswa yang diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji prasyarat (normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil penelitian dari uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung = 16,147 dengan t tabel = 1,988 maka Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran LAPS – Heuristik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan trigonometri.

Abstract

This research constitutes a two-cycle School Action Research involving 29 teachers at SMAN 1 Jawilan, Serang, Banten. Employing data collection methods such as observation, field notes, and documentation, coupled with a comprehensive analysis utilizing both descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches, this study aimed to discern the impact of academic supervision on teachers' pedagogic competency in developing differentiated learning strategies. The data analysis demonstrated a discernible progression in pedagogic competency scores over the cycles. In the pre-cycle, scores were recorded at 44.17 with an average of 1.52, which subsequently increased to 65.44 with an average of 2.26 in cycle 1, and further elevated to 77.43 with an average of 2.67 in cycle 2. Similarly, an analogous advancement was observed in teachers' pedagogical competency scores for differentiated learning against predetermined standards, ascending from 38% in the pre-cycle to 69% in cycle 1, culminating in 97% in cycle 2. These findings substantiate the assertion that academic supervision plays a pivotal role in augmenting teachers' pedagogical competence, particularly in the context of developing differentiated learning methodologies.
