Abstract

Field Experience Practices (PPL) is one of the compulsory subjects for all students majoring in Information Technology Education at Bina Bangsa University. This field experience practices is intended to train in the application of scientific methods that have been received by Bina Bangsa University students majoring in information technology education. Training as teaching staff in the form of service is held at Mts Ponpes Daar Al Ilmi University of Bina Bangsa for the academic year 2023/2024 is a socialization and training activity to student for information and communication technology subjects. The implementation of the field experience practices program at Mts Ponpes Daar Al Ilmi aims to increase student motivation in information and communication techmology subjects with learning media and implementing practices using available facilities so as to increase significant learning outcomes. The result of this field experience practices : 1) increase students learning motivation and 2) increase students knowledge of information and communication technology. Therefore, the dedication carried out by Bina Bangsa University field experience practice (PPL) student to Mts Ponpes Daar Al Ilmi to students 2023/2024 has been going well

Abstract

This Community Service is motivated by the low understanding of students' mathematical concepts because the learning process does not optimize the use of media for understanding the concepts of learning material and does not provide students with active participation in the learning process. This Community Service is a Community Service that aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The subjects of Community Service are grade II students of MI Nurul Falah totaling 15 students, consisting of 14 male students and 16 female students. Data collection techniques used in the form of tests and scores. The test includes items and the test does not include observations, interviews, and documents. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the results observed in each cycle, and quantitative descriptive analysis to analyze the results of the final assessment of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in each cycle. This Community Service takes place in three cycles. The results of Community Service show that the use of picture bags can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts of MI Nurul Falah grade II students. This is shown by the increase in the level of completeness of student learning from cycle I to cycle III. In cycle I the level of student achievement reached 40%, cycle II increased to 66.67 n cycle III increased to 80%. The criteria for the completeness of this Community Service is 75%, so it can be concluded that the use of picture bags can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts

Abstract

Community empowerment through art in Cibendung Village is a community service activity carried out by students through the Student Work Lecture (KKM) program. Dance is an expression of human expression expressed through beautiful gestures and is able to provide physical activity and a sense of beauty expressed through motion. Dance education has a role to instill values in students. Dance in children can help children to express freely. By providing teaching about dance will have a positive influence on children, namely developing children's creativity and training children's socialization. The benefit of children can add experience in the arts, especially dance, and can train courage and confidence through dance movements, which are important in bringing out children's creative activities, is giving freedom to children to do various experiments in order to realize or express themselves creatively

Abstract

In an education department, there will be a compulsory course, for example the Field Experience Peraktik (PPL) course. Field Experience Practice is one of the compulsory courses for all Education students, especially Information Technology Education (PTI) at Bina Bangsa University. Peraktik Field Experience itself aims to train students in applying scientific methods that have been obtained at Bina Bangsa University majoring in Information Technology Education. Field Peraktik as a lecturer was held at SMAN 1 Ciruas for the 2023/2024 academic year of Bina Bangsa University in the form of service. Field Experience Practice at SMAN 1 Ciruas aims to increase student motivation through Information technology subjects.  In a high school learning system in Information & communication Technology (ICT) subjects, there are various kinds of material, one of which applies the Ms. Excel application basically. Microsoft Excel is an application included in Microsoft office that is required to be studied in every school in ICT subjects today. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Macro is a type of programming application contained in Microsoft office, one of which uses ms. Excel. The use of VBA Macros in Ms. Excel itself increases knowledge of how to process data automatically

Abstract

Field Experience Practice (PPL) activities are professionalism building activities in the teaching field that can be directly applied in field practice. PPL is intended to train students to apply knowledge and methods during lectures in the field. PPL activities were carried out at SMAN 1 Ciruas, especially for class 10 students at SMAN 1 Ciruas. PPL carries out teaching and learning activities in class, presenting material regarding information and communication technology, as well as testing understanding regarding the material that has been presented. Activities were carried out for 3 weeks. The result of the activity is the enthusiasm of the students in participating in PPL activities because they are carried out interactively. Apart from that, it is hoped that students can apply the material in everyday life and can share and help others to avoid cybercrime

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of Ethnomathematics of Banten Mukarnas batik motifs in improving students' mathematical reasoning and creative thinking skills. Ethnomathematics was chosen to connect mathematical concepts with local culture so that students can see the relevance of mathematics in everyday life. The method used in this study is a quasy experiment with a Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The sample was selected using random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by providing test questions for students' mathematical creative thinking ability. The analysis was carried out quantitatively on the learning process and measuring students' creative thinking skills before and after the application of Ethnomathematics. From the results of the posttest data analysis of the experimental and control classes, the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 and an average of 89.42 in the experimental class, while in the control class, the average was 76.61. So, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability of students to think creatively and mathematically using the ethnomathematics-based learning model assisted by the Banten Mukarnas batik motif compared to students who obtain the conventional learning model

Abstract

The fundamental problem that causes this study is that the low mathematical reasoning ability of students and culture in Banten has not been explored optimally for classroom learning. This study aims to compare the mathematical reasoning ability of students who use ethnomathematics-based learning with conventional learning, as well as mathematical elements contained in Banten culture. The target is junior high school students with transformation materials. The approach used by the researcher is quantitative research. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a pre-post control group design. The population in this study is grade IX students of SMP PGRI 1 Tangerang with a sample of 72 students. Researchers used independent sample t-tests to analyze the data. The results obtained by the researcher were the average post-test score of the experimental class of 72.56 and the control class of 54.11, which means that ethnomathematics-based learning is better than conventional learning in optimizing students' mathematical reasoning skills. Creativity is needed to find the elements of mathematics contained in Banten culture, and then it is necessary to conduct further research whether ethnomathematics-based learning can improve students' abilities other than reasoning.

Abstract

Green Open Space (RTH) has an important role in creating a healthy, comfortable, and beautiful environment. However, there are still many RTH that are poorly maintained and are not optimally utilized by the community. This Community Service aims to organize parks in RTH to improve a clean lifestyle and community awareness of the importance of a healthy green environment. These activities include improving the landscape of the park, adding ornamental plants and shade trees, and providing sanitary facilities such as adequate trash cans. In addition, socialization and education were carried out to the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and sustainability of RTH as part of a healthy lifestyle. The results of this activity show an increase in public awareness and participation in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of the park. With a good garden arrangement, RTH can be a comfortable recreational facility while improving the quality of life of the community

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif di SMKN 7 Kota Serang, Banten. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasari oleh kurangnnya pemanfaatan aplikasi pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi di sekolah, padahal penggunaan aplikasi seperti Quizizz berpotensi meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan motivasi belajar siswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, sesi pelatihan, praktik langsung, evaluasi, dan pengumpulan umpan balik. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan, peserta menunjukkan keaktifan yang baik dan peningkatan keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan peserta mencapai 95%, kemampuan membuat kuis mencapai 92%, kesiapan mengintegrasikan Quizizz dalam pembelajaran sebesar 90%, dan kepuasan peserta terhadap pelatihan mencapai 93%. Guru-guru peserta pelatihan berhasil menghasilkan rancangan pembelajaran berbantuan Quizizz yang kreatif dan layak diterapkan di kelas. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberdayakan guru menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21, memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam menciptakan pembelajaran lebih menarik, aktif, dan kolaboratif di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Problems experienced by students include low understanding of mathematical concepts and lack of learning motivation. This study aims to examine the extent to which the Think Pair Square (TPS) cooperative learning model can be a solution to improve both aspects. This study design is a quasi-experimental study with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through a mathematical concept understanding test and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using a paired t-test, N-Gain calculation, and descriptive analysis using a Likert scale. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation of students in the experimental group. The application of collaborative learning strategies has been proven to help students build a deeper understanding of concepts and increase their engagement in the mathematics learning process.
