Abstract

Several issues motivate this research, including students' difficulties in grasping educational content, students' poor scores on the topic of cooperation in my environment, and the use of less interactive learning media when presenting the topic. The aim of this research is to measure the impact of Educaplay media on students' understanding of the Cooperation in my Environment material in class IV of SD Negeri 48 Pangkalpinang. This study adopts a quantitative approach using the quasi-experimental experimental design method of a non-equivalent control group type. This research is based on a complete sampling technique, involving two distinct classes: the experimental class (IVA) which uses the educational media Educaplay, and the control class (IVB) which uses conventional learning. Data collection methods include observation, documentation, and writing question reviews. Data analysis techniques use normality tests (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), homogeneity tests (Levene), and hypothesis testing using the independent samples t-test. According to the results of the normality test (Kolmogorov Smirnov), the pretest and posttest values in the experimental class were obtained as follows: (0.200 and 0.200) while those in the control were (0.200 and 0.083). All data followed a normal distribution, as the significant value was greater than 0.05. The results of the homogeneity test (Levene's) indicated a t-value of 3.833, above the critical value of 2.002, with a significance level of 0.001, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, it is concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is an influence of Educaplay media on the understanding of the material of Cooperation in My Environment among the students of class IV of SD School Negeri 48 Pangkalpinang. The use of Educaplay media has a positive effect on student understanding, observable through changes in student behavior during the learning process. Students who previously lacked attention and had difficulty grasping educational content became more dynamic, passionate and focused when participating in learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low level of student understanding of the subject of Pancasila Education, specifically the material on norms in my life, as seen from the Learning Objective Completion Criteria, which was still below average, with only 9 out of 26 students achieving the KKTP. This study aims to determine the effect of the Advance Organizer Model on students' understanding of Pancasila Education in the subject of Norms in My Life in Grade V at SDN 8 Jebus. The approach used is quantitative with a Pre-Experimental Design and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The test used is a written test consisting of 10 essay questions. The analysis used normality testing using the Shapiro Wilk test and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test. This study proved that the pretest average score was 50.19 with a minimum score of 27.5 and a maximum score of 90, while the posttest average score was 75.09 with a minimum score of 42.5 and a maximum score of 95. The results of the data analysis prove that there is an effect of the Advance Organizer model on students' understanding of Pancasila education material on norms in my life in Grade V at SDN 8 Jebus.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Akibatnya, siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang disampaikan, terutama materi "gaya di sekitar kita" di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Sites untuk materi "gaya di sekitar kita" di kelas IV yang valid, mudah digunakan, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas IV SDN 13 Pangkalanbaru. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket dan tes, sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi analisis validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Sites memenuhi kriteria sangat valid, dengan persentase validitas sebesar 92% dari ahli media I, 96% dari ahli media II, dan 96% dari ahli materi. Kepraktisan media pembelajaran interaktif ini dibuktikan melalui uji coba dengan persentase 98,3% (kelompok kecil) dan 100% (kelompok besar). Keefektifan ditentukan berdasarkan hasil analisis pra-tes dan pasca-tes. Nilai efektivitas yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji N-Gain memperoleh skor rata-rata 87%, yang menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Sites "efektif" untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Sites sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

This study was prompted by students’ limited understanding of the material. Norms in My Life in the subject of Pancasila Education. A factor that plays a role in this is the application of lecture-based teaching methods, which are still dominant. Therefore, this study applied the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model to determine its effect on student understanding. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of the Think Pair Share learning model on the comprehension of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 28 Pangkalpinang. This study uses a quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental design, using a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling was conducted using saturated sampling. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling, which is a technique for determining samples when all members of the population are used as samples. The sample size was 62 students, consisting of 31 students from class 5A and 31 students from class 5B data collection was conducted via an essay test consisting of five questions, followed by data analysis involving normality and homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The results of the study show that the average score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. These results are supported by the independent sample t-test, which produced a value of tcount 4.691 > greater than ttable2.000, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning approach for theunderstanding of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 28 Pangkalpinang.
