Abstract

In accordance with the objectives of the Pontianak City Spatial Plan, the development orientation is emphasized in the trade and services sector. In terms of essential services, Educational facilities are means to develop human resources. Along with population growth, Educational facilities and their distribution need to be improved. This article aims to examine the distribution and centralization of Educational facilities as an evaluation for the arrangement of the distribution of services. Besides, it can be a case study for other cities in managing the distribution of facilities. The distribution of access and Educational facilities is assessed through network analysis consisting of calculations of degree, closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector. From the results obtained, South Pontianak District and East Pontianak District are the areas with the highest or largest scores, especially in measuring closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector. It is indicated that the two districts tend to be the most central areas. Meanwhile, for the superimposition between access and distribution of facilities, it is found that Higher Education facilities tend to be facilities with a "centralized" position in the network configuration. In addition, elementary schools were also foundto be the most accessible in each area or district.

Abstract

Desain arsitektur untuk mencapai kenyamanan termal menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan kondisi lingkungan di dalam kelas. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya adalah melalui kontrol radiasi matahari mengenai bangunan karena merupakan solusi yang efektif. Desain jendela yang mempengaruhi penerimaan panas matahari adalah dimensi jendela yaitu berkaitan dengan nilai WWR serta penggunaan shading device. Shading device memiliki tipe bervariasi dan penggunaannya perlu mempertimbangkan orientasi bangunan dan iklim. Pemanfaatan berbagai shading device dan WWR untuk bangunan sekolah perlu diketahui dampaknya terhadap penerimaan radiasi matahari sehingga dapat menjadi pertimbangan desain untuk mencapai kondisi termal yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan berbagai jenis shading device dan WWR pada orientasi yang berbeda terhadap nilai penerimaan radiasi matahari pada bangunan, sehingga dapat menjadi  pertimbangan dasar bagi perancang. Model bangunan didapat dari data bangunan sekolah di Kota Pontianak yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan bantuan simulasi analisis solar dari software Autodesk Revit. Adapun variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis shading device, panjang shading device, window wall ratio (WWR) untuk 4 orientasi yang berbeda. Data hasil simulasi dianalisis secara statistik berdasarkan nilai rata-rata penerimaan radiasi yang diperoleh pada setiap variabel yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan jenis shading device overhang dan side fin pada setiap orientasi tidak terlalu optimal untuk menghasilkan penerimaan radiasi matahari yang rendah pada bangunan model di Kota Pontianak. Jenis shading device eggcrate menunjukkan kinerja yang lebih optimal untuk 3 orientasi bangunan. Panjang shading device 0.75 m menunjukkan nilai penerimaan radiasi yang cenderung lebih rendah pada ketiga orientasi tersebut.

Abstract

Landak Regency has many natural resources that have the potential to be used as natural tourism objects. One of them is Dait Waterfall which has 7 floors and is located in an unspoiled forest area. The area is often visited by tourists from various regions of West Kalimantan. However, there are several problems related to supporting facilities and infrastructure that are not up to standard for tourism activities, so that the tourism potential is not maximized. For this reason, it is necessary to design a "Dait Waterfall Tourism Area in Landak Regency" which is in accordance with tourism standards and local environmental needs, with the concept of ecotourism that uses a sustainable environmental approach and empowerment of local communities. The arrangement is done by designing which starts from the function analysis process, which includes the main functions and supporting functions. The main functions include recreational aspects and supporting functions consisting of commercial functions, ecological functions and community participation functions. The design method consists of the introduction, definition, preparation, analysis, synthesis, evaluation and re-evaluation stages. The design process is applied in the construction of the main tourism facilities and infrastructure such as outbound areas, camping areas, selfie areas, and others. In addition, supporting facilities and infrastructure such as management areas, commercial areas, service areas, utility aspects, and others. With this design, it is hoped that the Dait Waterfall Tourism Area will attract more tourists from a wider variety of areas.

Abstract

The freelancer profession in the current era is in great demand by many people. In the world of freelancing, income and place of work are not fixed. Most freelancers have little business capital in leveraging skills and building relationships. In addition, freelancers do not have a limit on working time, but are free to determine where to work. Freelancer activity facilities in Pontianak City do not support convenience. They are active in cafes or coffee shops with a low level of privacy. Freelancers and other creative industry players need a place that is comfortable for their activities, both working, socializing, and collaborating in running their business. They need a container that fits their activities, namely coworking space. Coworking space is a multifunctional workplace that combines various commercial functions, such as offices, meetings, culinary, entertainment, and others. For this reason, it is necessary to design a coworking space in Pontianak City. The purpose of a coworking space is to accommodate various work activities, both individually and in groups, along with their supporting activities. The design method used is flexibility in architecture, including adaptable and universal space. The steps used are looking for problems, identifying, collecting data, analyzing, conveying ideas, selecting ideas, designing products, and evaluating. The expected result is a flexible spatial plan inside and outside the coworking space, adapting to the dynamics of freelancers and other users.

Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country because it has an area of water reaching 3.25 million km2 or about 63%. The sea mouth of the Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya regency, is part of the Indonesian maritime region that has fisheries management or WPP711 Natuna Sea, making it the second largest fish producing region in West Kalimantan. Sungai Kakap is part of a strategic tourism area that can be further developed. UnfortuUnfortunately, it wasn’t felt the benefits by the surrounding community. Based on these, the architectural response must offer a place containing the results of the marine resources of culinary-tourism based on Sungai Kakap and connected to the existing restaurant as the Seafood Culinary Center of Sungai Kakap Estuary. By realizing a cooperative system with the Sungai Kakap community, it is hoped that the design will improve the quality of life of the residents of Sungai Kakap. Applying the glass box method, planning becomes more objective, using the information obtained during data collection, which is supported by a clear conceptual analysis and synthesis. With a land area of 1.39 hectares, Sungai Kakap Estuary Seafood Culinary Center consists of a new mass area, an existing masses area and a space connecting the masses. The new area masses will consist of a restaurant function with different services than the current restaurant/market place, and a workshop/community-kitchen with movable internal walls. A connecting space used as a plaza and for culinary events.

Abstract

Abstract_ The COVID-19 pandemic has brought changes in both activities and space design to prevent the wider spread of the virus. These changes need an adaptation so that activities can run smoothly. Adaptation can be in the form of changes in space design, activities, and so on. One of the activities that began to be carried out was learning at school. In this regard, the purpose of this research is to see what changes have occurred (design and regulations) and the process of human adaptation to these changes. This research was conducted on 4 objects, namely SD 14 Pontianak Kota Subdistrict, SD 56 West Pontianak Subdistrict, SMP 2 South Pontianak Subdistrict, and SMP 10 South Pontianak Subdistrict. The methodology used is place-centered mapping, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study showed changes in the form of physical such as the provision of handwashing facilities, temperature checking, and changes in the overall seating arrangement and space setting changes at the level of acceptance. As for non-physical changes (regulations) such as the circulation path, it shows that humans are at a level in the process (some accept and reject). This shows that humans are more receptive to changes/adaptations to physical things, while non-physical changes still allow humans to refuse and act by what they usually do. Abstract

Fishing tourism is a place to accommodate fans of fishing activities. With fishing tours, fishing enthusiasts can express their hobbies in the places that have been provided. Fishing tourism centers not only have fishing ponds, but also provide various kinds of existing facilities. Kubu Raya Regency is one of the largest districts in West Kalimantan Province. Kubu Raya Regency has many kinds of potential that can be developed, one of which is fisheries. The fishery in Kubu Raya is one of the largest in West Kalimantan. Seeing the potential of Kubu Raya Regency in the form of fisheries that can be further developed, the location of the design of the fishing tourism center is in Kubu Raya Regency. This fishing tourism center is expected to accommodate fishing enthusiasts and optimize tourism and natural potential as well as increase the economic growth of Kubu Raya Regency. The design of this fishing tour uses five design methods, namely the initial stage, preparation, making proposals, evaluation and action. This design produces a fishing tourism design in which there are 4 building masses with different functions, namely restaurants, cafe, prayer rooms, and management buildings and can work together with local residents by providing facilities in the form of a pier.

Abstract

Wilayah merupakan jaringan perkotaan dan setiap kota dalam wilayah saling berhubungan. Struktur keruangan wilayah dibentuk oleh jaringan yang menghubungkan titik pusat aktivitas dengan saluran penghubung berupa garis infrastruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sentralitas pusat kegiatan pada kota dan kabupaten di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Perbandingan kemudian dilakukan untuk mengupas hubungan antara pusat-pusat kegiatan dengan pusat kegiatan hirarki tertinggi pada kota dan kabupaten. Analisis jaringan digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi sentralitas dengan menghitung derajat, kedekatan, keantaraan, dan vektor eigen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan lima jenis kecenderungan, yaitu: (1) cenderung berada di tengah, (2) cenderung berada di perbatasan, (3) tersebar, (4) cenderung dekat (melekat) dengan ibu kota/kabupaten, dan (5) cenderung meluas. Jenis paling banyak di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat adalah pada tipologi perbatasan. Sementara itu, tidak ditemukan tipologi sentralitas pusat kegiatan yang cenderung melekat dengan pusat kegiatan utama pada kota dan kabupaten di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.

Abstract

Agrotourism is an effort to boost the economy by utilizing the agricultural sector as its main focus. Agrotourism is a type of activity that attracts tourists by offering farming experiences and involving local residents in the planning and management processes of the area. One of the agrotourism destinations in Kubu Raya Regency is Rekadena Agrotourism located on Jeruju Besar Street, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. The Rekadena Agrotourism Park area has several facilities such as vehicle parking areas, outbound activities, camping grounds, fishing ponds, restaurants, halls, health clinics, and prayer rooms. However, the Rekadena Agrotourism Park has not yet met several standards of facilities and infrastructure in tourism. The objective of this design is to redesign the Rekadena Agrotourism Park in accordance with the standards of facilities and infrastructure and to provide job opportunities for the local community in Kubu Raya Regency. The concept used in this design emphasizes the objectives and functions of the buildings or areas themselves. The method used in this design refers to Richard Whitaker's design method, which includes the stages of introducing Rekadena Agrotourism Park, identifying issues for redesigning Rekadena Agrotourism Park, collecting theories related to agrotourism parks, analyzing design standards, developing concepts, completing the design, and creating pre-design drawings and technical drawings. The result of this design is the redesign of Rekadena Agrotourism Park in Kubu Raya Regency.

Abstract

Art is an individual, collective or communal artistic expression based on cultural heritage or the creativity of new creations, which are manifested in various forms of activity and media. Arts include performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, film and media arts. According to the Singkawang City Cultural Sector Data Base, the art sector in Singkawang City has several problems, namely lack of creativity, so there is a recommendation in the form of holding training with the aim of increasing creativity in work. In 2020, the number of arts in Singkawang City is 79 arts with the most arts being dance and music. According to Snyder, Anthony (1985) The methods used in planning and designing start from the idea stage, followed by the theoretical study stage, data collection stage using primary and secondary data methods, analysis stage, synthesis stage, pre-design stage, and design stage. The Singkawang Art Center consists of 3 floors, there is a lobby located in the middle, then on the left side of the lobby th ere is a gallery area and on the right side is the theater area. The design of this building uses a contemporary architectural approach which can be seen from building elements such as the use of walls made of glass or creating voids covered   by   transparent   roofs, has a transparent facade which gives an open impression and optimizes greening by planting trees regularly .
