Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact on the soap opera Aisyah Putri that aired on the private television station RCTI. This study uses a qualitative approach by relying on George Gebner's theory of states that television shows affect the audience. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews are three main aspects, namely cognitive, affective and conative, related to the effects of exposure to mass media messages. Female students of Al-Biruni High School in Bandung consisting of classes X, XI, and XII. The results of the study showed that the process of perception of teenagers on Aisyah Putri soap opera shows the stages of sensation, perception, and confirmation (memory and thinking). The motive for the use of headscarves for teenagers. The headscarf perception among adolescents, especially for students at Albiruni Cerdas Mulia Bandung High School has a strong influence on exposure to "Aisyah Putri" religious soap operas in terms of cognitive, affective and conative.

Abstract

This study wanted to find out how the attention, acceptance, and understanding of journalistic students of the 2013 UIN Bandung class were on the shows of Islamic propaganda (TRANS7) and peace in Indonesia (TV One). Through survey methods with quantitative approaches that are partially analyzed, namely by Pearson product moment correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, and t test and analyzed by hypothesis testing. The results show that my attention to Indonesian peace shows is low, understanding of the response to treasure shows is 18% and the remaining 82% is determined by variables or other factors. As for the understanding of the response to my Indonesian peace shows by 0.1% and the remaining 99.9% determined by variables or other factors. The acceptance of journalistic students in the class of 2013 on the shows of the existence of a relationship between the response of students to the shows of treasures. Whereas for the 2013 journalistic student acceptance of Indonesian peace shows there is no significant relationship. AbstrakPenelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana perhatian, penerimaan, dan pemahaman mahasiswa jurnalistik angkatan 2013 UIN Bandung terhadap tayangan dakwah islamiyah khazanah (TRANS7) dan damai Indonesiaku (TV One). Melalui metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dianalisis secara parsial yaitu dengan analisis korelasi pearson product moment, koefisien determinasi, dan uji t serta dianalisis secara uji hipotesis. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa perhatian terhadap tayangan damai Indonesiaku rendah, pemahaman terhadap respon pada tayangan khazanah sebesar 18% dan sisanya 82% ditentukan oleh variabel atau faktor lain. Sedangkan untuk pemahaman terhadap respon pada tayangan damai Indonesiaku sebesar 0,1% dan sisanya 99,9% ditentukan oleh variabel atau faktor lain. Penerimaan mahasiswa jurnalistik angkatan 2013 terhadap tayangan khazanah adanya hubungan antara respon mahasiswa dengan tayangan khazanah . Sedangkan untuk penerimaan mahasiswa jurnalistik angkatan 2013 terhadap tayangan damai Indonesiaku tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan.

Abstract

The adaptation of non-Sundanese reporters is the object of this study; the aim is to find out the views of non-Sundanese journalists on Sundanese society in the city of Bandung, the self-concept owned by non-Sundanese journalists and how the adaptation of non-Sundanese journalists in gathering news. The methodology used is phenomenology with symbolic interaction theory. This study uses a qualitative approach: observation techniques, in-depth interviews do the process of data collection. The results showed that Non-Sundanese Journalists in Bandung City, most of the opinion. Sundanese people have a positive nature and easy to accept other people from outside the region who have cultural differences. For non-Sundanese journalists, when carrying out their profession as a journalist, they should have advantages compared to indigenous journalists so that they can survive in carrying out their duties in gathering news. Having education that is directed and professional in their fields, is capital in carrying out their profession so that they will become journalists who are expected and needed by others, wherever they are. Non-Sundanese journalists are expected to be able to adapt or adjust to the perceived differences in gathering news, especially from cultural and linguistic differences, so that enormous courage and patience are needed.
