Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the model to Make a Match in mathematics learning 6th-grade students of Elementary School Marioriwawo Sub-District. This research is a quantitative experimental research. The population in the study were all 6th-grade students of Elementary School Marioriwawo Sub-District from 50 school. Determination of the sample was done by random sampling. Data analysis techniques used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using a single sample test. The results showed that the application of effective models in learning mathematics 6th-grade students of Elementary School Marioriwawo Sub-District in terms of the average learning outcomes 71.9, 80.4% activity and and the response to the application of the model 93.7%.

Abstract

Sipakatau, sipakalebbi dan sipakainge merupakan budaya moral Bugis di Sulawesi Selatan yang perlu dilestarikan di dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMA dari implementasi budaya sipakatau, sipakalebbi, sipakainge. Penelitian ini termasuk metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Delapan puluh delapan siswa kelas IPA XI SMA Negeri 5 Makassar menjadi sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data menggunakan instrumen observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Implementasi budaya sipakatau meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 87%; (2) Implementasi budaya sipakalebbi meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 88%; dan (3) Implementasi budaya sipakainge meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 85%. Secara umum disimpulkan bahwa implementasi budaya sipakatau, sipakalebbi dan sipakainge meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IPA XI SMA Negeri 5 Makassar sebesar 86%. Sipakatau, sipakalebbi, and sipakainge are bugis moral cultures in South Sulawesi that need to be preserved in learning. The aim to see the improving in mathematics learning outcomes of high school students from the implementation of the culture of Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, Sipakainge. This research was a class action research method. 88 students of class XI IPA of SMAN Negeri 3 Makassar became the research sample. The instrument used to collect data uses student learning outcomes tests. The results of this study indicated that as many: (1) the application of sipakainge culture increases student learning outcomes by 87%. (2) the application of sipakalebbi culture increases student learning outcomes by 88%. and (3) the application of sipakainge culture increases student learning outcomes by 85%. In general, it is concluded that the implementation of sipakatau, sipakalebbi and sipakainge culture improves student learning outcomes of class XI IPA SMAN 5 Makassar by 86%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the effectiveness of Think Pair Share models in learning, (2) the effectiveness of Student Team Achievement Divisions models in learning, and (3) the comparisonof Think Pair Share and Student Team Achievement Divisions models effectiveness on mathematics learning in the sixth-grade students of public elementary schools in Soppeng Regency. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study was all sixth-grade students of public elementary schools in Soppeng Regency and the samples were determined by cluster stratified random sampling technique. The data collected comprises student learning outcomes data, students’ activity data in learning, and students’ response data on learning media. Students’ activity data and students’ responses were analyzed using descriptive analysis while students’ learning outcomes data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the t-test with a significant level 5 = 0.05 in the major hypothesis (1) the implementation of the effective Think Pair Share models, (2) the application of the Student Team Achievement Divisions model, and the major (3) for (a) student learning outcomes (posttest, gain) (b) students’ activity in learning (c) student response, shows that the application of Think Pair Share models is more effective than Student Team Achievement Divisions in the mathematics learning of the sixth-grade students of Public Elementary Schools in Soppeng District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model problem contextual teaching learning terhadap representasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Jenis penelitian ini mixed methods dengan desain penelitian explanatory sequential. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa SMP Negeri 10 Kendari. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu dua siswa berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan dua siswa berjenis kelamin perempuan. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis inferensial, deskriptif dan naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model problem contextual teaching learning dalam pembelajaran matematika berpengaruh positif terhadap representasi matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 10 Kendari, secara khusus diinterpretasikan bahwa ternyata representasi matematis subjek perempuan lebih baik daripada subjek laki-laki.

Abstract

The ability of students to understand the concept of learning varies, it is very necessary to know the level of understanding of students' concepts in learning mathematics, so that it becomes a rationale in determining the appropriate learning approach. This study aims to determine the effect learning approach of the ELPSA eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar. The type of research used is experimental research. The design of this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar in the 2019/2020 academic year and the research sample was determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument in this study was an essay test on understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential. The descriptive research results show that there is an increase in understanding of the mathematical concept after the application of the ELPSA learning approach; the score of concept understanding after the application of the ELPSA learning approach met the completeness criteria, namely more than 80; and completeness of students' conceptual understanding after being applied classical ELPSA learning approach is 97% complete. The inferential hypothesis testing results show that the application of the ELPSA learning approach affects the understanding of mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze and describe the positive effect of the blended learning method on the learning interest of elementary school students in terms of rank and gender. The research subjects consisted of 4 students. This type of research is a mixed methods research with explorary sequential design. Data were collected using observation instruments, interviews and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis used is narrative exploration and descriptive analysis. The results showed that MA subjects with high rankings with male gender had very high interest in learning from the application of blended learning methods, high-ranking SA subjects with female gender had high learning interests from applying blended learning methods, AH subjects with low ratings with the male gender has a high interest in learning from the application of the blended learning method, the low-ranking RA subject with the female gender has a very low interest in learning from the application of the blended learning method. Keywords: Interest in Learning, Blended Learning, Ranking, Gender AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh positif metode blended learning terhadap minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar ditinjau dari peringkat dan gender. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan subjek MA yang berperingkat tinggi dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki memiliki minat belajar sangat tinggi dari penerapan metode blended learning, subjek SA yang berperingkat tinggi dengan jenis kelamin perempuan memiliki minat belajar tinggi dari penerapan metode blended learning, subjek AH yang berperingkat rendah dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki memiliki minat belajar tinggi dari penerapan metode blended learning, subjek RA yang berperingkat rendah dengan jenis kelamin perempuan memiliki minat belajar sangat kurang dari penerapan metode blended learning. Kata Kunci: Minat Belajar, Blended Learning, Peringkat, Gender

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan perbedaan pengaruh dari penerapan TGT dan DL dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Experiment. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar dengan sampel yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Random Sampling terdiri dari du kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan tes akhir pembelajaran berupa tes essay. Hasil pengujian secara deskriptif yaitu penerapan TGT berpengaruh positif dibandingkan dengan DL ditinjau berdasarkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa. Berdasarkan pengujian inferensial pada hipotesis penelitian dengan uji t ditemukan thitung > α berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh, dimana pengaruh penerapan model TGT lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan DL. Sehingga, secara umum diinterpretasikan bahwa TGT berpengaruh positif dibandingkan dengan DL terhadap hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa sekolah dasar.TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) AND DISCOVERY LEARNING (DL) IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLAbstract: This study describes the different effects of the application of TGT and DL in mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research is a Quasi Experiment. The population of this research is the sixth grade students of elementary school. The sample is determined by using purposive random sampling technique consisting of two classes. The instruments used to collect data were the observation of student activeness in learning and the final test of learning in the form of an essay test. The results of the descriptive test, namely the application of TGT have a positive effect compared to DL in terms of learning outcomes and student activity. Based on inferential testing on the research hypothesis with the t test, it was found that tcount > α means that there is a difference in influence, where the effect of applying the TGT model is higher than that of DL. Thus, it is generally interpreted that TGT has a positive effect compared to DL on learning outcomes and the activeness of elementary school students.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini adalah wabah covid 19, pengalihan pembelajaran dari sekolah ke rumah disebut pembelajaran jarak jauh hibryd. Pembelajaran jarak jauh hybrid yaitu pembelajaran yang memadukan metode modern dan metode tradisional. Guru matematika SMP Negeri 1 Konawe belum siap secara keterampilan dalam mengantarkan siswa kedalam pembelajaran jarak jauh secara hybrid tersebut. Kebanyakan guru hanya menggunakan media whatsaap dan messengger sebagai alternatif pembelajaran. Pembelajaran melalui media tersebut membuat proses pembelajaran kurang efektif. Jika hal ini berlanjut maka akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan berdampak kepada nilai hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasai masalah tersebut adalah pelatihan pembuatan modul pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan program Sigil 1.9 dan Reader Premium 19 yang dapat digunakan guru untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan meliputi penyajian materi, penugasan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan tersebut yaitu 55% peserta pelatihan memberikan respon positif, pemahaman peserta terkait modul interaktif meningkat dari 45 menjadi 70, dan keterampilan peserta meningkat dalam membuat modul interaktif
