Abstract

The advancement of digitalization has significantly influenced the behaviors and culture of rural communities. This research aims to provide an in-depth insight into the complexity of the impact of digital transformation on the behaviors and culture of rural communities while highlighting the importance of addressing these challenges wisely and proactively. The research methodology employed in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach. Through literature analysis, this study explores various impacts of digitalization transformation on rural communities in Indonesia, including access to new information, economic opportunities, changes in behaviour regarding information access, communication, education, agriculture, healthcare, and economic empowerment. Findings indicate that digitalization has opened access to information and new economic opportunities for rural communities, mainly through the widespread penetration of the Internet and the adoption of digital technologies. Furthermore, changes in the behavior of rural communities occur across various aspects of life, including communication, education, healthcare, and agriculture. Despite the benefits of digitalization, efforts must mitigate adverse impacts such as online fraud and the spread of false information. Therefore, inclusive, and sustainable strategies for digital village development and increasing digital literacy are crucial in maximizing the benefits of rural digitalization in the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation in villages is becoming an important item on the national policy agenda, driven by efforts to improve public services and empower the rural economy. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of digital-based village management policies in Tamansari Village, Banyuwangi, highlighting the processes, economic impacts, and governance challenges. This qualitative research method uses in-depth interviews, observation, and document studies of village officials, MSME actors, and BUMDes managers, with source and method triangulation. The results of digitalization implementation strengthen administrative services, expand MSME marketing, and increase transparency in village governance. However, limitations in human resources and digital infrastructure are major constraints. Furthermore, the implication is that optimizing digital training and improving infrastructure become priorities for strengthening the sustainability of digital villages in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam menilai keberhasilan pelayanan publik, khususnya di sektor kesehatan. Pelayanan kesehatan mencakup berbagai upaya yang dilakukan secara individu maupun bersama dalam organisasi untuk memelihara, meningkatkan, dan memulihkan kesehatan masyarakat. Puskesmas Sumurgung berperan sebagai unit pelaksana pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama yang bertugas melayani masyarakat di wilayah kerjanya pada tingkat kelurahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Sumurgung Kecamatan Palang Kabupaten Tuban dengan menggunakan lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan, yaitu Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, dan Empathy, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat pelaksanaannya. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2024 dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan di Puskesmas Sumurgung memenuhi beberapa indikator kualitas, meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti rendahnya kesadaran petugas terhadap ketepatan waktu, ketidaksesuaian prosedur administratif akibat kurangnya kelengkapan dokumen pasien, dan keterbatasan fasilitas, khususnya jumlah kursi di ruang tunggu pasien. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya meningkatkan kesadaran petugas terkait ketepatan waktu melalui pengawasan internal yang lebih efektif, menyediakan fasilitas seperti kursi tambahan di ruang tunggu, serta mengembangkan sistem pelayanan berbasis digital untuk mempermudah pengambilan nomor antrean dan menyosialisasikan prosedur pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Islamic banking organizations that show two sides of achievement targets, namely economic achievements and socio-religious mission achievements, also bring two consequences whether to bring the organization towards achieving material benefits or carrying out only socio-religious missions. In this context, organizational leaders have a strategic role in making Islamic banking institutions capable of optimally achieving their goals. This study aims to explain whether prophetic leadership is able to balance the current situation with beliefs that are conventional enough to be understood, and; see what variables are relevant to the prophetic leadership variable when applied to Islamic banking institutions. This article uses a phenomenon-based review of Islamic banking and its governance policies as the object of study. Narrative review of literature studies is the main approach in writing articles. The results of the study show that the issue of prophetic leadership has a pattern that is in accordance with the specificity of the locus of study (Islamic banking institutions), which then shows that the modern leadership that is widely presented in western literature is not the best. The relevance and superiority of prophetic leadership in the form of the role of maintaining the professionalism and morality aspects of performance so as to be able to balance economic activities with social activities in the midst of the rapid issue of banking capitalism in Indonesia. Through maqasid ash-shariah on the policies of Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia, prophetic leadership is able to go hand in hand with business processes and their application to Islamic banking. The implication of this study is to provide an understanding that prophetic leadership which has been implemented long before the emergence of western leadership models, is still very relevant in dealing with changing times and has the opportunity to become an alternative to leadership in the modern era like today.
