Abstract

diperlukan pada suatu rencana pembangunan suatu pusat kegiatan, yang diperkirakan akan memberikandampak terhadap arus lalulintas di sekitarnya. Metoda yang digunakan adalah dengan memperkirakandampak lalulintas jika dibangun pusat kegiatan tersebut, dan usaha yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya.Penerapan metodologi ini diuraikan dengan studi kasus analisis dampak lalulintas pembangunan PlazaAmbarrukmo di Yogyakarta. Pertama-tama dilakukan survai lalulintas, geometri di sekitarnya, serta tatabangunan plaza tersebut. Hasil analisis memberikan rekomendasi tentang perbaikan-perbaikan lingkunganPlaza Ambarrukmo tersebut, termasuk ruas-ruas jalan di sekitarnya guna menghindari kemacetan yangmungkin terjadi akibat pembangunan plaza tersebut.Kata kunci: dampak lalulintas, pusat perbelanjaan, lingkungan

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyse the delay length based on MKJI (1997). A case study was conducted on a signalized junction of Dr.Sutomo-Suryopranoto road, Yogyakarta. The correction was carried out on coefficient of basic saturation flow in ranging from 600 to 2200. Therefore, the predicted (from MKJI 1997) and measured delay length was compared. The results show that the coefficient on basic saturation flow calculation needs to be modified in the range of 600 to 2200 in order to find the similar length of the delay between prediction and field measurement. Passenger car unit (PCU) unit for motorcycle from MKJI (1997) was also corrected from 0.2 to 0.15.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to develop the mathematical model of home based work-trip generation and to obtain its trip variables influencing the model. Factors of trip accessibility i.e. distance to work, travel time, cost for public transport and cost for private vehicle were also observed in the model. In this study, several households in Griya Taman Asri, Sleman Yogyakarta were chosen for questioner sample in home interview survey. Mathematical model was generated using the multi-linear regression with the dependent variable is work-trip which is affected by nine independent variables. The generated model was then validated by VIF and Anova test. The result shows that the work-trip generation model for Griya Taman Asri was influenced by parameter of the car ownership (X2) and the worker in household (X5). However, all trip accessibility factors considered in this study do not influence to work-trips.

Abstract

The use of smart cards and supporting devices to support the reform of urban public transportation does not stop at the ticket machine alone, as it has been successfully developed for the bus transit system Trans Jogja. The development is also aimed for the use of Prambanan Express train and Trans Batik Solo bus services, resulting in the integration of the three modes using a single smart card ticket. The smart card system needs to be improved so that the Student Identity Card of Gadjah Mada University is accepted and can be used as a smart card for the bus and train services. For short-term period, this study aimed to estimate the number of students who will use the Student Identity Card to buy Trans Jogja bus tickets, while for long-term period the results of this study can be used to provide direction for the development of Trans Jogja bus routes in the future. Survey was conducted through interviews with 500 students of Gadjah Mada University. The results indicate that there is a significant number of students who will use the bus service of Trans Jogja system, amounting to 890 people. For long-term period, the results suggest that the bus route development, based on the potential demand, should reach the north area of the Gadjah Mada University campus.Keywords: smart cards, urban public transport, bus tickets

Abstract

Public Transportation in urban areas is expected to be main choice for people’s mobility. The aim of this research is apply value creation framework based on S-D Logic and Trans Jogja from Yogyakarta and Värmlandstrafik AB Sweden are the case study. This research use direct observation and interview to the related person/ company as the primary data, and to support them use group discussion with the users. This research also use secondary data from some journals, reports, documentations, etc. From the analysis and discussion Värmlandstrafik AB is address the value creation service and opportunity more than Trans Jogja. From conclusion, the need of applying value creation framework in Trans Jogja is to offer public transport improvement as has been illustrated by Trans Jogja. Although the achievement of value creation opportunities are not as high as that achieved by Värmlandstrafik AB, but Trans Jogja should learn about what needs should be improved.Keywords: S-D Logic, Value Creation Opportunity, Trans Jogja, Public Transport Improvement

Abstract

Abstract Tachometer is an instrument capable of measuring the speed of rotation of an object that is not directly an indication of the safety of the engine rotation. Tachometer in this study is mounted on a fleet of Trans Jogja. The primary data collection, in the form of speed graph from tachometer data recording, was then conducted and secondary data were obtained from PT Denso Sales Indonesia. The results showed that the average speed of Trans Jogja fleet in the morning is 42.86 km/h, at noon 36.5 km/h, in the afternoon 35.2 km/h, and in the evening 37.39 km/h. The observed violation was a violation which occurs when the driver passes the speed limit of vehicles in the city, which is 50 km/h. This study shows that 27.45 % violation occurs in the morning, 12.6 % during the day, 13 % in the afternoon, and 17.46 % in the evening. Key words: tachometer, driving behavior, average speed, speed limits  Abstrak Tachometer merupakan instrumen yang mampu mengukur kecepatan putaran sebuah objek yang secara tidak langsung merupakan indikasi keselamatan perputaran mesin. Tachometer pada penelitian ini dipasang pada armada Trans Jogja. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengambilan data primer berupa grafik kecepatan hasil rekaman data tachometer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari PT Denso Sales Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan rata-rata armada trans jogja pada pagi hari adalah sebesar 42,86 km/jam; pada siang hari 36,5 km/jam; pada sore hari 35,2 km/jam; dan pada malam hari 37,39 km/jam. Pelanggaran yang diamati adalah pelanggaran yang terjadi saat pengemudi melewati batas kecepatan kendaraan dalam kota, yaitu sebesar 50 km/jam. Dari studi ini diperoleh bahwa 27,45 % pelanggaran terjadi pada pagi hari, 12,6 % pada siang hari, 13 % pada sore hari, dan 17,46 % pada malam hari. Kata-kata kunci: tachometer, perilaku berkendara, kecepatan rata-rata, batas kecepatan

Abstract

Yogyakarta has special transportation characteristics. Travel patterns in urban areas in Yogyakarta were determined by the urban population characteristics in Yogyakarta City. The spread of work places or school locations that are far away from the residential areas tend to generate transportation problems. Every day, many trips to work and school locations have to pass the city center which impact urban roads. This study aims to analyze the trip pattern in the City of Yogyakarta. The results show that motor cycles are the most transportation mode used by the travelers. It is also found that the majority of vehicles are used by a single traveler. Yogyakarta memiliki karakteristik khusus transportasi. Pola perjalanan di daerah perkotaan di Yogyakarta ditentukan oleh karakteristik populasi perkotaan di Kota Yogyakarta. Penyebaran lokasi tempat kerja atau sekolah yang terletak jauh dari tempat tinggal cenderung menghasilkan masalah transportasi. Setiap hari, banyak gerakan yang dilakukan untuk pekerjaan dan sekolah melintasi pusat kota yang berdampak ke jalan kota. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola pergerakan di Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa sepeda motor merupakan moda transportasi yang paling banyak digunakan. Abstract

Traffic congestion on the road occurred when travel demand exceeds the capacity of the road. This study aims to estimate and develop a model of congestion costs for private car users in the area of Jalan Malioboro, Yogyakarta, with a length of 1.414 km. The study was limited to the congestion charge for private car users only. The results show that the generalized cost of private car transportation on the actual conditions in the Malioboro area, Yogyakarta, is Rp. 5,513.77 per trip and on the conditions of free flow speed is Rp. 2,598.78 per trip, so that the congestion charge for private car users in this region is Rp. 2,914.99 per trip. The form of congestion charge model for private car users in the area of Malioboro, Yogyakarta, is an exponential function, with the lower the actual traffic speed, the greater the cost of traffic congestion caused.Keywords: congestion charge, private car, the combined cost of transportation, vehicle operating costs,the cost of travel time.

Abstract

Abstrak Program EMME/2 (equilibre multimodal, multimodal equilibrium) merupakan program pemodelan jaringan jalan yang sangat flexibel digunakan untuk implementasi dan aplikasi dalam perencanaan dan manajemen lalulintas perkotaan maupun regional, dilengkapi dengan fungsi dan atribut untuk memberikan perilaku tertentu pada jaringan jalan. Penelitian ini mencoba melakukan kajian mengenai penanganan permasalahan lalulintas di Kota Pekalongan terhadap permasalahan lalulintas yang ada, melalui skenario simulasi pemecahan masalah dengan pemodelan lalulintas dengan menggunakan Program EMME/2. Penanganan dilakukan dengan lima skenario, yaitu skenario pengaturan sudut parkir di tepi jalan (on street parking), skenario pengaturan arus lalulintas jalan satu arah, skenario pelebaran jalan, skenario pembuatan jalan lingkar utara, dan skenario pembuatan jalan lingkar selatan. Hasil pemodelan kondisi sekarang (existing) menunjukkan bahwa ruas jalan yang bermasalah dengan tingkat rasio V/C lebih besar dari 0,85 terjadi pada Jln. Gajahmada, Jln. Urip Sumoharjo, Jln. Merdeka, Jln. Pemuda, Jln. KH. Mas Mansyur, Jln. Sudirman, Jln. Setia Budi, Jln. Dr. Sutomo, Jln. Hayam Wuruk, Jln. Hasanudin, Jln. Sultan Agung, Jln. Manggis, Jln. Nusantara, Jln. Seruni, Jln. Jlamprang, dan Jln. Dharma Bakti. Hasil pemodelan skenario pengaturan sudut parkir dari 45° menjadi 0° akan menurunkan rasio V/C dan meningkatkan kecepatan perjalanan pada ruas jalan yang diatur, tetapi berdampak terhadap penurunan kinerja jalan lain, yaitu Jln. KH. Mas Mansyur, Jln. Urip Sumoharjo, Jln. Seruni, Jln. Jlamprang, Jln. Sudirman, Jln. Dharma Bhakti, Jln. Dr. Sutomo dan Jln. Pemuda. Skenario pengaturan jalan satu arah juga akan menaikkan kinerja jalan terhadap ruas jalan yang diatur, tetapi berdampak terhadap penurunan kinerja ruas jalan lain, yaitu Jln. KH. Mas Mansyur, Jln. Jend. Sudirman, Jln. Urip Sumoharjo, Jln. Gajahmada, Jln. Dr. Setia Budi, Jln. Seruni, Jln. Jlamprang, dan Jln. Dharma Bhakti. Skenario pelebaran jalan akan menaikkan kapasitas jalan sehingga terjadi penurunan rasio V/C pada ruas jalan yang dilakukan pelebaran, tetapi berdampak terhadap ruas jalan lain, yaitu di Jln. Nusantara, Jln. Merdeka, dan Jln. Argopuro dengan rasio V/C ratio lebih besar dari 0,85. Skenario pembuatan jalan lingkar selatan lebih baik daripada pembuatan jalan lingkar utara namun demikian pembuatan kedua jalan lingkar tersebut akan mengurangi permasalahan lalulintas pada ruas jalan nasional (Pantura). Kata-kata kunci : Permasalahan lalulintas, Program EMME/2, Skenario penanganan permasalahan lalu-lintas.

Abstract

Two signalized intersections in Yogyakarta which began to experience traffic congestion problems are Kentungan and Monjali signalized intersections, located in the North Ring Road. The vehicles always stop at the intersection because they always get red signal. The data used in this study were collected by direct surveys, including vehicles volume, vehicles speed, signal time, and the geometric of both intersections. The data were then used to get the most saturated existing condition which becomes a reference in the determination of new cycle time and green phase distribution under optimal condition based on the signal coordination theory. From the analysis it was found that both intersections were not coordinated yet. From eleven scenarios, it was found that the new cycle time is 130 seconds with offset time for both directions is 70.93 seconds for both directions. Bandwidth obtained by coordination diagram is equal to 37 seconds for East direction and 32 seconds for West direction. Kedua simpang bersinyal di Yogyakarta yang mulai tidak terlepas dari masalah kemacetan adalah Simpang Kentungan dan Simpang Monjali, yang terletak pada Jalan Ring Road Utara. Permasalahan yang seringkali terjadi adalah kendaraan harus selalu berhenti pada tiap simpang karena selalu mendapat sinyal merah. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei langsung, yang meliputi volume kendaraan, kecepatan tempuh kendaraan di kedua ruas, waktu sinyal, dan geometrik simpang. Data yang diperoleh digunakan untuk mendapatkan kondisi eksisting terjenuh yang akan menjadi acuan dalam merencanakan waktu siklus baru dan pembagian fase hijau yang paling optimal dengan memperhatikan teori koordinasi. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kedua simpang belum terkoordinasi. Dari sebelas alternatif perencanaan didapat waktu siklus baru sebesar 130 detik dengan waktu offset sebesar 70,93 detik untuk kedua arah. Berdasarkan diagram koordinasi didapat bandwidth sebesar 37 detik untuk arah dari Timur dan 32 detik untuk arah Barat.
