Abstract

Parasite (Korean: Gisaengchung) is a South Korean movie directed by Bong Joon-Ho. This movie, which is presented in 2019, is a dark humor film genre filled with tense scenes and dramas. Themes of social problems or problems that occur in South Korean society, namely poverty, are also presented in this movie. This research aims to analyze the poverty of a thriller drama movie. The meaning of poverty can be observed from several scenes through the relationship between signs and semiotic meanings using Charles Sanders Peirce's model with the concept of a triangle of meaning, namely sign, object and interpretant. Qualitative research in the form of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis is used as a method in this research.  Five of the entire scenes of the movie are selected as representations of poverty. The five scenes are analyzed through the relation of signs, objects and interpretant depicted in each scene. There are signs and meanings which describe poverty in several scenes in accordance with the type of poverty, namely relative poverty. The results of this study concluded that there are several scenes that represent poverty which is categorized into relative poverty as seen from the aspect of social inequality. This is because there are several characters who can make ends meet their minimum basic needs but they are still far lower than their surrounding society.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research is to know signs and meanings (sign, object, interpretant) of homoxeksual that exist in Sausage Party. This research used Semiotica Charles Sanders Peirce’s theory that famous with his triangle meanings and also used Azhari and Kencana’s homoxeksual theory that included in sexual behavior. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. In this research, researchers used data source triangulation thecnique. According Bungin (2007:257), data source triangulation doing by comparing and measuring level of trust an information that obtained by interview result and document that related to each other. Key informant in this research is a psychology and the triangulan is movie watcher. The result shows that some scenes in Sausage Party represents adjusted homoxesual and secret homoxeksual. Keywords : Homoxeksual, Sexual Behavior, Semiotic, Movie

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the Exposure of Ruang Guru Youtube Impressions as a medium of information on the learning activities of students of SMP Kamandaka Bogor. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used in this study is Probality Sampling, the sample is determined using the Slovin formula and gets the number of respondents as many as 113 students. of 156 students’ total population. Ruang Guru's Youtube as an information medium is sufficient to provide a lot of information and insight about the world of education from the material presented on the Youtube channel which can be watched for free anywhere and anytime, with various kinds of playlists presented on the Ruang Guru Youtube channel. The learning activities of the students of SMP Kamandaka Bogor are still lacking in using the internet well but with good learning in schools. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between exposure to the Ruang Guru Youtube show on the learning activities of the students of SMP Kamandaka Bogor. the results of the determination test showed that the exposure of Ruang Guru's Youtube shows had a contribution to the learning activities of students of SMP Kamandaka Bogor by 0.358. influenced by other factors. Further research is needed to explain these other reasons.

Abstract

Personal branding is something that is very important and needs to be owned by every individual. Personal branding is important for a Content Creator to be more easily recognized by the audience. This research was conducted in order to determine the personal branding of Content Creator Fadil Jaidi on social media Instagram, Tik Tok, and Youtube. This research also to know the differences and analyze the suitability of the personal branding criteria of Fadil Jaidi with the theory of Rampersad. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research were content analysis, in-depth interviews, and a literature study. In addition, checking the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this research indicate that the personal branding of Fadil Jaidi is joking and he has different personal branding criteria in each of his social media, but the most complex platform he uses is Instagram. Next, Fadil Jaidi in building personal branding in accordance with the authentic personal branding theory with the criteria, (1) Authenticity, (2) Integrity, (3) Consistency, (4) Specialization, (5) Authority, (6) Difference, (7) Relevance, (8) Visibility, (9) Persistence, (10) Kindness and (11) Performance.

Abstract

Ngaseuk is the activity of growing rice in huma (dry land) using aseuk (to lift the taper). Ngaseuk is a traditional activity carried out by the Kasepuhan community to start ngamumule pare activities (maintaining rice). This activity is special because it is an early activity in the life cycle of the kasepuhan community. Because the interest of people, not only tourists but also academics, is the basic reason for this. This study was conducted to identify the communication patterns that exist in the Kasepuhan Cicarucub through traditional ngaseuk activities. The researcher dissected based on communication activities, the interaction of symbols, and components of ritual communication that occur during traditional activities. This study used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to focus on the traditional communication process of ngaseuk. The data collection technique used was in-depth interviews, observation, and document studies. The results showed that the Kasepuhan Cicarucub community still adhered to customary rules which included ngamumule pare (maintaining rice) as a life cycle that the Kasepuhan community had to live, which was inherited from their ancestors. The ngaseuk activity which is an escort for the life cycle of the Kasepuhan community has a deep meaning of communication with God, nature, and fellow human beings to produce a unique and distinctive communication pattern. So that it finds that the communication pattern that occurs in the Kasepuhan Cicarucub community in Ngaseuk traditional activities forms a transcedental communication pattern because the communication between indigenous peoples and something supernatural.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi pengikut TikTok @bogordaily.net terhadap pemberitaan kriminal viral gangster bawa sajam buat resah warga di media siber bogordaily.net. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan deskriptif statistik dan uji korelasi rank spearman dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 25. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di akun media siber TikTok bogordaily.net. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Uses and Effect. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling dan menyebarkan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini pengikut TikTok @bogordaily.net dapat mengakses TikTok 5 menit dan terpapar terpaan berita gangster bawa sajam karena isi pemberitaan menarik untuk dibaca, kemudian timbul persepsi yang dapat berupa perhatian, penafsiran dan pengetahuan setelah membaca pemberitaan kriminal gangster.

Abstract

There are various reasons for the decline in interest of young workers in the agricultural sector, especially the low regeneration of young people working in the agricultural sector. This research focuses on the work aspirations of elementary school students, especially regarding agriculture which is narrated in elementary schools and elementary school students' views on work in the agricultural sector. Elementary school plays an important role in developing initial ideas about a job. Employment aspirations in villages are strongly influenced by how basic education builds narratives about the existing jobs. This research found students who have experience in agriculture sector tend to have positive perception towards agricultural work.

Abstract

Agro Eduwisata Organik (AEWO) Mulyaharja is one of the natural and educational tourism in Bogor City and is one of the leading ecotourism in Bogor City which is managed by the Tourism Movement Group (Kompepar). As one of the leading destinations, AEWO Mulyaharja still has many challenges, namely limited skills and promotional media. This community service activity consists of five stages, namely situation analysis, socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. The training method uses lectures and practices with materials related to social media, social media features, design, video content and video editing. The results of this activity are increased knowledge and skills of Kompepar AEWO Mulyaharja partners regarding the creation of promotional content in the form of images and videos on social media, the use and steps using the Canva and Capcut applications, increasing the number of followers, posts and Engagement rate (ER) on Instagram, adding official accounts on other social media, namely YouTube, X and TikTok

Abstract

In recent years, the cosmetics and health industry in Indonesia has experienced a rapid rise. Cosmetics industry players compete so that their products can be accepted by consumers. Cosmetics industry players can build corporate identity by building strong brand awareness. NPURE held the #GenerasiKulitSehat campaign as a form of sensitivity to the problems experienced by many Indonesians, namely wanting white and smooth skin. In this research, the campaign message designed aims to increase the audience's brand awareness of NPURE products with natural ingredients and relevant issues that are experienced by many Indonesians. If the audience has an imprinted awareness of a brand and sees it as a reliable and high-quality brand, they will most likely have a positive attitude towards the brand. Based on this phenomenon, the author is interested in examining the influence of the #GenerasiKulitSehat campaign message on NPURE cosmetics brand awareness. This study aims to analyze the effect of the #GenerasiKulitSehat campaign message on NPURE cosmetics brand awareness. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results showed that there was an influence between the #GenerasiKulitSehat campaign message on NPURE cosmetics brand awareness by 75.9 percent.
