Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of eggshell powder application and manure on the growth and production of watermelon on meulaboh peat soils and whether these two factors were real or not. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar Meulaboh University from December 2018 to April 2019. This study used a 4 x 4 factorial randomized block design with three replications. The egg shell powder (C) factor consisted of four the levels are: C0 = control, C1 = 300 kg / ha (2.25 g / polybag), C2 = 400kg / ha (3 / polybag), C3 = 500 kg / ha (3.75 g / polybag) (Syam et al., 2014). Factor manure (K) consists of four levels, namely: K0 = control, K1 = 50 tons / ha (0.375 kg / polybag), K2 = 100 tons / ha (0.75 kg / polybag), K3 = 150 tons / ha (1,125 kg / polybag) Observation parameters include; plant length (cm), number of leaves, age of flowering, fruit length (cm), diameter of fruit (cm), weight of fruit (kg), production of tons / ha. The results showed that the dose of eggshell had a significant effect on increasing soil pH, a very significant effect on the length of the 15 HST plant but had no significant effect on the length of the 30 HST plant, the number of leaves 15 and 30 HST, and the flowering phase. Significantly affect the fruit length and fruit diameter. However, no significant effect on fruit weight and tons / ha production. Manure has a very significant effect on the length of watermelon plants aged 15 HST. However, the effect was not significant at the age of 30 HST. Significant effect on the number of watermelon leaves aged 15 HST, however, very significant effect on the age of 30 HST. Very significant influence on watermelon flowers and very significant effect on fruit length, diameter, fruit weight, and tons / ha production. Abstract

ABSTRAK Mawar merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman hias yang keberadaannya sering dimanfaatkan. Bukan hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman bunga, akan tetapi mawar juga sering digunakan sebagai tanaman hias ditanam dipot, dijadikan bunga tabur, parfum, kosmetik dan obat-obatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan stek mawar terhadap pemberian berbagai zat pengatur tumbuh alami dan lama perendaman serta nyata tidaknya kedua faktor tersebut. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 4 ulangan yaitu (1) pemberian Zpt (Z) dengan 4 taraf;  Z0: kontrol, Z1: bawang merah (100%), Z2: air kelapa (100%), Z3: tauge (100%). (2) Lama perendaman (M) dengan 3 taraf; M0: 0 jam, M1: 5 jam, M2: 10 jam. Parameter pengamatan adalah jumlah tunas, panjang tunas dan diameter jumlah daun umur 20, 30 dan 40 HST, jumlah akar ,panjang akar dan diameter persentase tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh alami berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar dan persentase tumbuh umur 40 HST. Berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah tunas 20, 30 dan 40 HST, panjang tunaas 20, 30 dan 40 HST, jumlah daun 20, 30 dan 40 HST dan jumlah akar. Lama perendaman tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas, panjang tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, panjang akar dan persentase tumbuh. Terdapat interaksi antara zat pengatur tumbuh alami dan lama perendaman pada jumlah tunas 20, 30 dan 40 HST tanaman stek mawar (Rosa damascene Mill) yang diamati. Kata Kunci : Mawar, Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Alami, Lama Perendaman. ABSTRAC Rose is one type of ornamental plant whose existence is often used. Not only used as a flower plant, but roses are also often used as an ornamental plant planted in pots, used as sow flowers, perfume, cosmetics and medicines. This study aims to determine the effect of the growth of rose cuttings on the provision of various natural growth regulators and the duration of immersion and the significance of these two factors. The experimental design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors and 4 replications, namely (1) giving Zpt (Z) with 4 levels; Z0: control, Z1: shallots (100%), Z2: coconut water (100%), Z3: bean sprouts (100%). (2) duration of immersion (M) with 3 levels; M0: 0 hours, M1: 5 hours, M2: 10 hours. Observation parameters were the number of shoots, length of shoots and diameter of the number of leaves aged 20, 30 and 40 DAS, number of roots, root length and percentage of growth diameter. The results showed that the provision of natural growth regulators had a significant effect on root length and growth percentage at 40 DAS. It had no significant effect on the number of shoots 20, 30 and 40 DAS, the length of tunaas 20, 30 and 40 DAS, the number of leaves 20, 30 and 40 DAS and the number of roots. The duration of immersion did not significantly affect the number of shoots, length of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots, length of roots and percentage of growth. There was an interaction between natural growth regulators and the duration of soaking in the number of shoots 20, 30 and 40 DAS for the observed rose cuttings (Rosa damascene Mill). Keywords: Rose, Natural Growth Regulatory Substance, Soaking Time.

Abstract

Odot elephant grass is a tropical forage forage that is easily developed, has high production and can be used as animal feed.This study aims to determine the effect of ameliorant types and organic fertilizer (Agrodyke) doses on the growth of odot elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) on peatlands. This study used a 3x3 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications consisting of: (1) ameliorant type factor (A) consisting of 3 levels, namely: A1 =dolomite lime, A2 = Shellfish shell, A3 = Eggshell. (2) Agrodyke fertilizer dose factor (D) Consists of 3 levels, namely: D0 = 0 gram / plant, D1 = 10 gram / plant, D2 = 20 gram / plant. Observation parameters are the number of leaves, number of shoots, leaf length, plant height. The results of this study indicate that the type of ameliorant did not significantly affect the number of leaves, number of shoots, leaf length, and plant height at 2 MST, 4 MST, and 6 MST. Versatile fertilizer (Agrodyke) dosage significantly affected the number of leaves and plant height at 6 MST. But no significant effect on the number of leaves, number of shoots and plant height in 2 MST and 4 MST. Keywords: Peat, Ameliorant Species, Odot Elephant Grass, Agrodyke.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of onion extract and media towards growth mucuna cuttings, as well as whether there is interaction between the two factors. This research was conducted in Krueng itam village Tadu Raya Sub-District, Nagan Raya regency from  1 July to 4 September 2012. This research used randomized block design (RBD) factorial design with three replications. The factor of this researchare concentration of extract  onion and plant medium. Onion extract consists of 5 levels concentration 0 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml and 20 ml per liter of water. Plant medium (soil: manure) consists of three levels 2: 1, 3: 1 and 4: 1. The results showed that concentrations of the extracts of onion geve significant effect against the number of roots of mucuna age 60 HST,significant effect against shoot on 40 and 60 after day plant  andnot significant against the number of shoots. The best of growth cuttingfound at 15 ml concentration  of onion extract per liter of water. The plant medium effected was  not significant on  high shoots towards 40 and 60 after day plant, amount of mucuna shoots and number of roots  on 60 after day plant. Therewas asignificant interaction between extract of onions and plant media againstthe root length of mucuna. The best length of root found at concentrations of 10 ml of onion extract per liter water,plant media with 2:1(soil: manure). Keywords : Onion extract, vegetative, medium, mucuna

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas dosis pemberian monosodium glutamat (MSG) dan npk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai  (Glycine max (L.) Merill.)”, yang dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Teuku Umar, Oktober 2019 sampai dengan Januari 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan   acak   kelompok   faktorial (RAKF) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis monosodium glutmat meliputi dosis 0 gram/polybag (M0), dosis 3 gram/polybag (M1), dosisi 6 gram/polybag (M2), dosisi 9 gram/polybag (M3) Faktor kedua adalah NPK meliputi dosis 0 kg/ha (N0), 125 kg/ha (N1), 250 kg/ha (N2). Hasil penelitian uji F pada analisis ragam menunjukkan Dosis monosodium glutamat berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 30 HST, dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman 45 HST, diameter batang 30 dan 45 HST, jumlah polong, berat 100 bji, namun tidak berbeda nyata pada tinggi tanaman 15 HST dan diameter batang 15 HST. Dosis 6 gram/polybag (M2) merupakan dosis terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Dosis NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman pada 15, 30, 45 HST, diameter batang 15 dan 30 HST, dan berat 100 bji, namun berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter diameter batang 45 HST, jumlah polong. Interaksi dosis Monosodium Glutamat dan NPK berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 45 HST, dan jumlah polong pertanaman. Secara interaksi terbaik menunjukan dosis Monosodium glutamat 6 gram/polybag dengan pemberian dosis NPK 250 kg/ha dapat meningkatkan jumlah polong per tanaman.

Abstract

This research to know influence of some and concentration hormonal growth organic to the growth cutting of peppercorn real and whet her there is  interaction both of factor.  This research have been executed by in Garden Agriculture Faculity of Teuku  Umar University Meulaboh,  Aceh Barat  Started 14 August up to 27 October 2015. This research to used is a randomized  blokc desigh (RBD) with  3 x 4 and  3 with  there replications. The first factor consist of some hormonal growth organic of 3 level extract Shallot, young coconut water, and extract bean sprouts. Second factor consisting of 4 level that is concentration of some hormonal growth organic of  0% (contro), 15 %, 25% and 35%. The result showed that the influence of some organic hormonal growth were affected to amount of shoot, long of shoot, root, and root wight. This research show that the concentration some hormonal growth affeected to amount of shoot, long of shoot, root, long of root and root wight. There was interaction between influence of some and concentration hormonal growth organic on all parameters of observation. Keywords: concentration, kind of amelioran, organic hormonal growth, pepper cuttings
