Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher readiness for digital literacy in the context of implementing the independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools. The main problem studied is the extent to which elemtary school teacher have adequate knowledge , skills and attitudes in integrating digital technology into the learning process. The research method used was qualitative. Data were obtained through library research and field observations related to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The result of the research show that the discussion identified several factors that influence teacher readiness for digital literacy, including a lack of adequate training, limited access to adequate tools and infrastructure, and concerns about the effective use of technology in learning. Indicators in dealing with the readiness of teachers for Digital Literacy in the Independent Curriculum are (a) Critical thinking and problem solving (b) Communication and collaboration (c) Understanding/literacy of Technology and Information Literacy. All of this is so that teachers have the ability to utilize digital media to improve teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Misconceptions are one of the main barriers in learning Natural Science (IPA) in elementary schools, especially regarding the matter of states of matter and their changes. A misunderstanding of basic concepts can lead to difficulties for students in studying advanced IPA material. This study aims to identify the level of misconceptions among fourth-grade elementary school students regarding the topic of states of matter and their changes, as well as to provide an overview of which subtopics most frequently generate misconceptions. The method used is quantitative descriptive, employing a two-tier diagnostic test method consisting of multiple-choice questions and open-ended reasons. The research was conducted at Godean 2 Public Elementary School, with a total of 54 respondents from two classes. The results indicate that misconceptions occurred in all tested subtopics, with details: changes in states of matter (69%), types of states of matter (63%), and characteristics of states of matter (39%) The subtopic of changes in state of matter is the area with the highest level of misconceptions. Students have difficulty understanding scientific concepts such as the order of changes in state, the difference between evaporation and boiling, and the effect of temperature on substances. These results indicate the need for more contextual and visual learning, such as direct demonstrations, simple experiments, and the use of digital media. Routine use of diagnostic tests is also recommended to detect and address misconceptions early to support better understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan kolaboratif peserta didik kelas empat di SDN 2 Padokan ketika menggunakan metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dibandingkan dengan pendekatan tradisional yang berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji seberapa besar pengaruh metode PjBL terhadap kemampuan siswa untuk bekerja sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 45 peserta didik yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas IVA sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model PjBL dan kelas IVB sebagai kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran dengan pendekatan teacher center. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, dilanjutkan dengan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor kolaborasi kelompok eksperimen dari 43,90 menjadi 88,70, dan kontrol dari 30,90 menjadi 80,90. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik.

Abstract

This study used the RnD (Research and Development) research method that refers to the ADDIE development model. The study was conducted at SDN Ngrukeman with limited trial subjects of 8 second-grade students and field trial subjects of 19 second-grade students. Data collection instruments used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results of this study produced a product in the form of interactive animated video learning media to improve students' digital literacy skills. The feasibility results were obtained from the validation of media experts and material experts who obtained different results, namely media experts got 90.6% and material experts got a percentage of 89.3% in the very feasible category. Media practicality data was obtained from the results of the teacher response questionnaire with a percentage of 96% and a student response questionnaire of 91.05% including the very practical category. Media effectiveness test data was obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest which obtained an average pretest score of 56.2% with a low category and a posttest of 85.1% in the very good category, there was an increase between the pretest and posttest results of 28.9% which means the media can improve students' digital literacy skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on animated videos is very feasible, practical and effective for use in learning.
