Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam era revolusi industri menghendaki adanya inovasi pengembangan media pembelajaran. Sehingga hasilnya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan respon pendidik terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis flip builder materi bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan jenis model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 85,15% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media sebesar 71,66% dengan kategori layak. Ujicoba kelompok kecil diperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,26 % dan hasil uji coba kelas besar dengan nilai rata-rata 89,32 % dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat menarik. Sehingga media pembelajaran berbasis flip builder layak dan sangat menarik digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang mendasar dalam pendidikan di Indonesia adalah rendahnya kualitas berfikir matematis dalam pemecahan masalah. Faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan peserta didik dalam belajar diantaranya adalah faktor internal dalam diri peserta didik, salah satunya adalah gaya belajar. Kebanyakan kegagalan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran adalah karena kurang memahami pengelolaan gaya belajar yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu gaya belajar mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam prestasi belajar. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik yang ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan data kualitatif yang dideskripsikan untuk menghasilkan pendeskripsian secara rinci dan jelas mengenai kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematika peserta didik yang dilihat dari gaya belajar visual, auditorial dan kinestetik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pemberian angket, tes dan wawancara, dan teknik validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi waktu serta teknik analisis data menggunakan tahap reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dengan kemampuan tinggi dengan gaya belajar visual memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah lebih baik daripada peserta didik dengan gaya belajar auditorial dan kinestetik, sedangkan pada kemampuan rendah peserta didik dengan gaya belajar auditorial memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dan kinestetik

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah termasuk pada sekolah dasar kini tidak bisa terlepas dari penggunaan teknologi seperti teknologi berbasis internet (virtual reality). Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran memiliki peranan penting untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran serta terciptanya pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, menarik perhatian, merangsang pikiran dan semangat belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar sehingga dapat belajar secara mandiri khususnya pada pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran komik berbasis virtual pada kelas V SD/MI untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon tanggapan akan keefektifanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development), Thiagarajan Model-4D meliputi tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Dissemination (penyebaran). Subyek penelitian peserta didik kelas V dan pendidik di MI Miftahul Huda Batu Bejat Nabang Baru dan MIN 1 di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi serta berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Keseluruhan kelayakan produk dari para ahli (materi, media, bahasa) diperoleh hasil rata-rata 83,27% kategori sangat layak. Respon tanggapan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar peserta didik kelas V dan pendidik diperoleh hasil rata-rata 89,28% kategori sangat menarik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi eksperimen menggunakan Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Natar sebanyak 81 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak dua kelas dipilih secara acak menggunakan Simpel Random Sampling. Sehingga diperoleh kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas IV C sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematika berupa soal uraian. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent t-test (Uji-t) diperoleh ttabel = 2,00758 dan thitung = 4,113 maka diperoleh thitung > ttabel (4,113 > 2,00758) yang menyatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat efektivitas yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Natar Lampung Selatan

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the 21st century demands students to master Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to face global challenges. This study aims to develop a multimedia-based STEM learning tool to stimulate HOTS in physics, particularly renewable energy topics focusing on hydro and wind energy. The research employs the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to create and test the multimedia’s validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires, and HOTS assessment tests. Results indicate that the multimedia is valid, practical, and effectively enhances students' HOTS. This study highlights the potential of STEM-based multimedia in providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences, particularly in abstract physics topics. These findings have implications for developing innovative learning strategies following the 2013 curriculum, emphasizing developing critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know if there are: (1) the influence of PMRI approach to the problem-solving ability of mathematical learners; (2) the influence between multiple intelligences capability categories of mathematical problem solving abilities; (3) there is an interaction between PMRI approach with multiple intelligences on mathematical problem solving ability. This research is a quasi-experimental design research with 2 × 3 factorial design. Sampling technique in this research use probability sampling with cluster random sampling. The research instrument used is the test of mathematical problem-solving ability and multiple intelligences questionnaire. The resulting data of mathematical problem-solving test were analyzed by using another test of two different cell paths. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is an influence of PMRI approach to students' mathematical problem solving ability; (2) there is influence between categories of multiple intelligences ability in mathematical problem solving ability; (3) there is no interaction between PMRI approach with multiple intelligences on mathematical problem solving ability.

Abstract

This writing aims to see the effect of using the SAVI learning model on students' problem solving abilities. The type of writing is quantitative writing. The sampling technique used was randomized class. The data collection technique used is the essay test technique. The data analysis technique used is the two jaur anava test. Based on the hypothesis test obtained, the results show that there are influences of students with treatment using the SAVI learning model to improve mathematical problem solving skills in algebraic factorization material better than students with the treatment of learning using conventional learning both in general and in each category. the independence of students' mathematical learning. There is interaction between mathematical problem solving abilities of students who have high mathematical learning independence better than students who have moderate and low mathematical learning independence. While students who have mathematical learning independence are better than students who have low mathematical learning independence. In addition, there is no interaction between the treatment of learning and the category of self-reliance on students 'mathematical learning towards improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The career readiness of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) students is a crucial factor in shaping competent educators in the field of education. This study aims to explore the implementation of instructional strategies to enhance the career readiness of PGMI students. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving two classes of sixth-semester PGMI students at a university. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and academic document analysis. The findings indicate that practice-based learning strategies, such as microteaching, field experience practice (PPL), and project-based learning, significantly impact students' pedagogical competencies. Additionally, the integration of technology in the learning process helps students develop digital skills relevant to modern educational demands. Challenges in implementing these strategies include limited practical facilities, students' readiness to apply theoretical knowledge to practice, and the lack of a structured career development program. This study concludes that the implementation of more practical and experience-based learning strategies can enhance PGMI students' career readiness. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions strengthen collaborations with madrasahs and other educational institutions and develop more intensive training programs for students.

Abstract

This research is driven by students' poor math comprehension. The lack of student activity and boredom in math causes this. Despite trying many learning strategies, educators have not been able to maximize math understanding. Researchers use the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning paradigm to solve the problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Team-Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the understanding of mathematical concepts among elementary school students. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach and a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were fourth-grade students from two classes at Elementary School 1 Langkapura, with class A serving as the experimental group and class B as the control group. The instrument used was a test in the form of essay questions in the form of a posttest to measure the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The results of the study obtained a calculated value of t > ttable = 3.77 > 2.01 = 0.05, so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the Team Assisted Individualization Cooperative learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts in grade IV. Understanding concepts in mathematics subjects using the Team Assisted Individualization Cooperative learning model has an effect compared to understanding mathematical concepts using the Direct Instruction learning model of the Explicit Instruction type.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of students’ conceptual understanding, which is caused by the use of inappropriate learning models. This has led to students having difficulty understanding science concepts contextually in everyday life. To address this issue, the researcher implemented the CORE learning model (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) to improve students’ conceptual understanding. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model on the conceptual understanding of IPAS (Social, Science, and Environmental Studies) among fifth-grade students at MIS MMA 4 Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population consists of all fifth-grade students, totaling 55 students divided into two classes. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, with class 5A as the experimental group (26 students) and class 5B as the control group (29 students). The instrument used was a multiple-choice test of learning outcomes, which had been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the Independent Samples t-Test to test the hypothesis. The test results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.004, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model has a significant effect on improving students’ conceptual understanding.
