Abstract

Macroeconomic volatility can influence consumers' purchasing decisions by increasing uncertainty and perceived financial risk, particularly in high-involvement property transactions. This study examines the effects of digital marketing integrity and product quality on property purchase decisions and investigates the moderating role of macroeconomic volatility. The study employs a quantitative explanatory design and uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the proposed relationships. Data were collected from prospective residential property buyers in Samarinda and Balikpapan using purposive sampling. The research model incorporates digital marketing integrity, product quality, purchase decision, and macroeconomic volatility as a moderating construct. The analysis focuses on both direct effects and interaction effects between the independent variables and macroeconomic volatility. The findings are expected to demonstrate whether macroeconomic uncertainty strengthens or weakens the influence of digital marketing integrity and product quality on consumers' purchase decisions. The study contributes to the literature by positioning macroeconomic volatility not merely as an external market context but as a contingency factor that may alter consumer responses to marketing information and perceived product quality in high-involvement property markets.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects of product, price, place, promotion, and fulfillment on purchase intention and customer loyalty at Aldzikra Plastik Store in Sangatta, both directly and through purchase intention as an intervening variable. Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 122 selected customers using purposive sampling from a population of 163 customers. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that product and price did not have significant effects on purchase intention or customer loyalty. Place had a significant positive effect on purchase intention, while promotion had a significant negative effect on purchase intention. Although place and promotion did not directly affect customer loyalty, both had significant indirect effects through purchase intention. Fulfillment had a positive and significant effect on purchase intention but did not significantly affect customer loyalty directly. Purchase intention was proven to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty and served as a full mediator in the relationships between place, promotion, fulfillment, and loyalty. These findings confirm that purchase intention is a key variable linking marketing strategies to the formation of customer loyalty at Aldzikra Plastik Store in Sangatta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the perceived performance of election organizers and money politics on voter satisfaction in Mahakam Ulu Regency, with the neutrality of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) acting as an intervening variable. The background of this study stems from the electoral legitimacy crisis triggered by the Re-voting (PSU) following the 2024 General Election, which led to a drastic decline in public satisfaction. Employing a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach, data were collected through 1–5 Likert-scale questionnaires administered to 122 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Inferential data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via WarpPLS software. The results indicate that the perceived performance of election organizers has a positive and significant effect on Bawaslu's neutrality, whereas money politics has no direct significant effect on either Bawaslu's neutrality or voter satisfaction. Interestingly, an anomaly was found showing a significant negative effect of Bawaslu's neutrality on voter satisfaction, reflecting a clash of legal cultures and strict sanctions at the grassroots level. Mediation analysis proves that Bawaslu's neutrality acts as a full mediator in bridging the relationship between the perceived performance of election organizers and voter satisfaction, but fails to mediate the relationship between money politics and voter satisfaction.
