Abstract

Masjid di Indonesia memiliki potensi besar sebagai pusat pemberdayaan ekonomi umat, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal. Dalam konteks ini, Wapres K.H. Ma'ruf Amin menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan peran masjid sebagai media pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran masjid dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi umat serta merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan fungsi masjid sebagai pusat kegiatan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menganalisis pernyataan Wapres dan konteksnya dalam pembangunan ekonomi umat di masjid. Data dikumpulkan melalui webinar nasional dan analisis dokumen terkait. Masjid memiliki potensi besar sebagai basis pemberdayaan ekonomi umat, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Diperlukan model bisnis yang mendorong partisipasi aktif jemaah dalam kegiatan ekonomi di masjid, seperti pendirian lembaga keuangan ultra mikro syariah. Dapat disimpulkan peningkatan peran masjid sebagai pusat pemberdayaan ekonomi umat merupakan langkah penting dalam membangun peradaban Islam yang moderat di Indonesia. Diperlukan upaya terus menerus untuk memperkuat pola pikir wasathy dan menjadikan masjid sebagai tempat penyebarannya, sehingga dapat mengembangkan kembali peradaban Islam dan mewujudkan umat terbaik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perdagangan online dari perspektif ekonomi syariah dengan fokus pada identifikasi tantangan dan peluang serta implikasi praktisnya bagi pelaku usaha dan masyarakat. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review yang melibatkan analisis terhadap berbagai studi dan literatur terkait dengan perdagangan online dan ekonomi syariah. Data dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan utama yang dihadapi dalam menjalankan perdagangan online, serta peluang dan strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perdagangan online di Indonesia menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, termasuk pemerataan ekonomi, infrastruktur, keamanan transaksi, dan ketidaksesuaian serta keterlambatan dalam layanan. Namun, juga terdapat peluang untuk memperluas aksesibilitas, meningkatkan perlindungan konsumen, dan mengembangkan model bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Dengan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah, seperti kejujuran, ketepatan, keadilan, dan pemerataan ekonomi, para pelaku usaha dapat mengoptimalkan manfaat perdagangan online secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah dalam menjalankan perdagangan online untuk memastikan keberlangsungan dan kesejahteraan yang inklusif. Dengan mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan memanfaatkan peluang yang tersedia, perdagangan online dapat menjadi instrumen yang kuat dalam mewujudkan visi ekonomi syariah yang adil dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan masyarakat sangat penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan perdagangan online yang kondusif bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berbasis nilai-nilai syariah

Abstract

This study aims to explore the principles of transparency and justice in the management of ghanimah (war booty) by Prophet Muhammad SAW as a reflection of Islamic financial accountability and their relevance to modern financial management. Using a literature review method, this research collects and analyzes primary sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith, along with secondary sources including Islamic historical literature, academic journals, and contemporary books on Islamic finance. The findings reveal that transparency and justice in ghanimah management were implemented through public participation, clear guidelines, equitable distribution, and strict accountability to both Allah and society. These principles form the foundation of Islamic financial accountability and are highly relevant in modern financial contexts. For example, Islamic financial institutions adopt transparency, ethical governance, and fairness to enhance public trust and ensure sustainable resource management. The research concludes that the ghanimah management model exemplifies ethical and accountable financial practices, offering valuable lessons for modern financial systems in creating more just and inclusive frameworks

Abstract

This study explores marketing strategies and financial management in traditional market businesses, focusing on the Sukaramai Market in Medan, Indonesia. The research aims to address the challenges and opportunities faced by local traders in maintaining business sustainability while balancing marketing efforts and financial management. Data were collected through interviews with two shop owners specializing in textiles and clothing, with questions targeting operational practices, customer engagement strategies, revenue generation, and financial resource allocation. The respondents highlighted key marketing approaches, including direct promotions and customer loyalty programs, alongside financial practices such as managing initial capital, monthly turnover, and employee salaries. The study identifies significant challenges, such as competition with online platforms and fluctuating customer demand during seasonal periods. The analysis employs a qualitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies and financial practices in achieving business stability. Preliminary findings indicate that while traders employ basic marketing and financial management techniques, limited digital adoption and informal accounting practices hinder their ability to scale operations effectively. The study emphasizes the need for integrating modern financial tools and e-commerce solutions to enhance competitiveness. These insights are relevant for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to support traditional market businesses in adapting to a rapidly changing economic landscape.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist the managers of Wisata Ladang Edukasi in increasing income and expanding market reach. A team of lecturers from Universitas Tjut Nyak Dhien, supported by Management students, provided guidance as a form of academic contribution to society. Wisata Ladang Edukasi combines elements of education and recreation but still faces challenges in marketing strategies and business management. The method used was counseling through direct dialogue, delivery of marketing materials, and interactive discussions. The results showed that the managers gained new insights on market segmentation, the importance of digital promotion, and improving services based on visitor needs. The activity also raised community awareness of the potential of educational tourism as a sustainable income source. For students, this was a valuable opportunity to apply management theories in real situations and develop soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Overall, the activity contributed to enhancing the partners' capacity and strengthening the university's role in community development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of PayLater usage on consumerism behavior, with cultural values as a moderating variable. As PayLater services continue to grow as part of financial technology, their influence on consumer behavior—particularly in promoting impulsive and excessive spending—warrants deeper investigation. Using a quantitative and explanatory research approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 116 respondents with prior experience using PayLater services. Data analysis was conducted using moderation regression with PROCESS Macro Model 1 on SPSS version 26. The results indicate that PayLater usage has a significant positive effect on consumerism behavior (p < 0.05). Cultural values also show a significant direct influence on consumerism. Interestingly, the interaction between PayLater usage and cultural values was found to be statistically significant, indicating a moderating effect. However, rather than weakening the relationship, cultural values in this context were found to strengthen the influence of PayLater usage on consumerism. This suggests that the cultural values internalized by respondents may not necessarily reflect financial restraint or frugality, but rather emphasize social norms, lifestyle conformity, or prestige. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of consumer behavior in the digital age and highlight the importance of considering cultural contexts when analyzing the impact of financial technology on individual financial behavior.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas calon pengelola jurnal hukum di bawah Fakultas Bisnis dan Humaniora yang mengalami keterlambatan terbit akibat rendahnya pemahaman teknis dan manajerial terhadap sistem Open Journal System (OJS). Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu persiapan berupa identifikasi kebutuhan melalui wawancara, pelaksanaan melalui pemberian materi dan simulasi penggunaan OJS secara daring, serta evaluasi melalui observasi partisipatif dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman teknis dan motivasi peserta dalam mengelola jurnal secara profesional. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini efektif membekali peserta dengan keterampilan dasar pengelolaan jurnal berbasis OJS dan mendapat respon positif, meskipun tantangan masih ada dalam hal perbedaan latar belakang kemampuan peserta. Program ini memiliki potensi untuk dilanjutkan dalam bentuk pelatihan berseri guna mendorong terbitnya jurnal ilmiah yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam pengembangan ekonomi Indonesia serta menganalisis potensi dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM. Dengan latar belakang pentingnya peran UMKM dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan seperti akses terbatas terhadap modal, kurangnya infrastruktur pendukung, dan kendala dalam pemasaran dan distribusi produk. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya merumuskan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan daya saing UMKM agar dapat berperan lebih efektif dalam menggerakkan ekonomi Indonesia secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to reflect on the values of transparency and financial ethics in the leadership of Usman bin Affan RA and examine how these values can be communicated as da'wah messages in contemporary Islam. Employing a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores Islamic historical sources, Islamic finance literature, and da'wah communication theories to build a holistic understanding. The findings reveal that Usman bin Affan RA demonstrated financial practices grounded in transparency, accountability, and social justice, as seen in his management of personal and public wealth. These values align with the principles of modern Islamic finance and can be promoted as part of an applicable da'wah bil hal strategy. Furthermore, the study finds that communicating financial ethics can be carried out through educational approaches, digital technologies such as blockchain, the strengthening of Islamic financial institutions, and community engagement in social programs like zakat and waqf. In conclusion, the leadership of Usman bin Affan RA serves not only as a historical example but also as a strategic model for financial ethics da'wah to address the socio-economic challenges of today’s Muslim society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of business tenure, operating hours, and the number of competitors on the number of customers for street vendors in Medan, along with the financial implications of customer traffic. Using a quantitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through structured questionnaires, involving direct numerical input provided by street vendors. The research was conducted in selected districts of Medan using purposive sampling, with a total sample of 30 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that, collectively, business tenure, operating hours, and the number of competitors significantly affect customer volume. However, on an individual basis, only operating hours had a statistically significant impact, suggesting that longer operating hours are positively associated with attracting more customers. In contrast, business tenure and competition did not show a meaningful influence. The regression model met the assumptions of normality and showed no signs of heteroscedasticity. From a financial perspective, the results imply that optimizing daily operating hours may enhance customer reach and, subsequently, improve income potential, whereas simply having longer business experience or facing more competitors does not necessarily guarantee higher earnings.
