Abstract

To overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government decided to implement a regulation known as the Restrictions towards Community Activities (PPKM). Since its inception, PPKM has been extended fourteen times. Observing the trend, it is interesting to find out how higher education students and lecturers perceive the regulation after gaining information from varied mass communication channels. Therefore, this research is aimed to identify perceptions regarding PPKM among students and lecturers. It used qualitative research with a phenomenology approach, involving 104 STIAMI students and 26 lecturers based in Jakarta, Bekasi, and Depok. According to the results, more than a half of the students and lecturers found information to be sufficient from mass communication channels and decided to support the program if continued in the future. They are, however, urging the government to conduct significant changes that would ensure the social and economic lives of Indonesian citizens remain well.

Abstract

Procurement of electronic-based goods and services e-procurement is the process of transferring ownership of goods and services by buyers to sellers that occurs through cooperation. West Cakung has been implementing this e-procurement since 2017. This research aims to find out how effective the procurement of e-procurement electronic-based goods and services in West Cakung Village is and also to find out supporting factors and obstacles and solutions in the procurement of e-procurement electronic-based goods and services in West Cakung Village. The type of research used is a type of qualitative descriptive research and is supported by secondary data. The theory used in this study is the theory of effectiveness according to Duncan, namely the effectiveness of achieving goals, integration, and adaptation. And use indicators of policy implementation according to George Edwards III Theory, communication, resources, dispositions, and bureaucratic structures. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, literature, and documentation. The results illustrate that the exploration of e-procurement in the procurement of government goods and services in West Cakung Village has been effective.

Abstract

The spirit of entrepreneurship needs to be instilled in the younger generation of millennials, so that it inspires the Stiami Institute Lecturers to carry out services in terms of entrepreneurial literacy to Persada Husada Indonesia School Bekasi City Students. This PKM aims; (1) To provide understanding and knowledge to students of SMK Persada Husada Indonesia Bekasi City about Entrepreneurship; (2) To provide stimulus to Persada Husada Indonesia Bekasi City students in an effort to increase their interest in entrepreneurship. Problems faced; (1) Lack of understanding of entrepreneurship; and (2) Still low interest in entrepreneurship To solve these problems comprehensively, assistance from various parties is needed. In this case, the Lecturers of the Stiami Institute of Social and Management Sciences have the responsibility to participate in solving the above problems, among others through community service programs.The methods used in solving the problem are; (1) Lecture; (2) Discussion; (3) Question and Answer; (4) Evaluation. A comparative des of students understanding and knowledge before and after participating in this activity, in general it is known that there was an increase in paticipants’ understanding and knowledge based on the results in table 1.The results achieved in the implementation of this PKM are: 1. Students have knowledge about Entrepreneurship.   2. Students have knowledge related to entrepreneurial characters, 3. Students are motivated to be involved in the world of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Based on the data from Ministry of Agriculture, soybean import from 2015 to 2018 kept getting increased. In 2015 and 2016, was recorded soybean import of 2.3 million tons, 2017 2.7 million tons, and experienced a slight decrease in 2018 into 2.6 million tons. Soybean import dependence caused high price of soybeans that made Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), such as Mr. Tochari, have to manage overcome it. The study aimed to analyze the marketing strategies, the obstacle faced, and to formulate the efforts to be taken by the enterpreneur to improve the marketing strategies. The study implemented descriptive qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the study showed that the marketing strategies implemented by the tempe enterpreneur Mr. Tochari through marketing mix (4P) and SWOT Analysis mostly reached the targets, but there were some obstacle, namely dependence on soybean import, production tools that could not fulfill all of the needs in one production process so it required loner time, and production process that still implemented traditional way

Abstract

In handling a large number of queues and the gathering or overflowing of prospective patients at the registration counter, a breakthrough  in  health  services  is  needed  with  the  speed  and response of officers to prepare patient files or data appropriately. A long waiting time resulted in a lack of treatment support facilities and delays in information, so a health service was created by using an application called the Online Outpatient Treatment System (SIBEROJOL) application. This study aimed to provide outpatient health   services   online.   The   Regional   General   Hospital   dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid, Bekasi City has a web-based application called SIBEROJOL as a digital-based system that is used for services in storing data on prospective outpatient patients. The SIBEROJOL application has health services in online outpatient registration. The research   method   used   in   this   research   was   qualitative   with descriptive   research   type.   In   collecting   the   data,   researchers employed observation, documentation, and interviews. The researchers examined the object of study and hold direct interactions with informants. The results showed the effectiveness of outpatient registration services by applying the Online Outpatient Treatment System at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD)  dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid, Bekasi City, has not been effective because there were several obstacles. However, several efforts and solutions must be considered.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about "The Strategy of the Bekasi City Fire Service in Overcoming Fire Disasters in Densely Populated Settlements". This study uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method to describe and explain in detail about existing phenomena using interview techniques as a supporting instrument. In this study, "The strategy of the Bekasi City Fire Department in Overcoming Fire Disasters in Densely Populated Settlements can be measured from 5 (five) strategy indicators, namely: Purposes, Environment, Direction, Action, Learning, data collection techniques used by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The informants of this study totaled 5 people. It can be concluded that the Strategy of the Bekasi City Fire Service in Tackling Fire Disasters in Densely Populated Settlements

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the how much influence of work professionality and organizational commitment on employee performance in Department of Communication, Information, Statistics and Code of Bekasi City. The research method used is quantitative research in the form of survey. Samples this research are 97 employee. Methods of data collection using questionnaires with likert scale. Conclusion this study : (1) influence of work professionality on employee performance, regression line ????̂  = -0,661 + 0,804X1. Hypothesis test with t-test result obtained by Sig. = 0,000 and tcount = 37,564 > ttable = 1,661, H0 reject; (2) influence of organizational commitment  on  employee  performance,  regression  line  ????̂   = 1,864 + 0,840X2. Hypothesis test with t-test result obtained by Sig. = 0,000 and tcount = 31,403 > ttable = 1,661, H0 reject; (3) influence of work professionality and organizational commitment  on  employee  performance,  regression  line  ????̂  =  - 0,734 + 0,495X1 + 0,350X2. Hypothesis test with F-test result obtained by Sig. = 0,000 and Fcount = 1045,360 > Ftable = 3,093, H0 reject. Conclusion of this research : (1) work professionality strong positive influence and significant on employee performance; (2) organizational commitment strong positive influence and significant on employee performance; (3) work professionality and organizational commitment together strong positive influence and significant on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and supervision on the work effectiveness of the employees at Fire Department Bekasi. In this study, the population of this study was employees of the Fire Department Bekasi. The sample of this research was 86 which is divided proportionally according to the work location (sector). Based on data analysis, the indicators in this study were valid and the variables were reliable. Based on the research, the regression equation obtained was: Y= 17.839 + 0.146 X1 + 0.384+ e. This equation shows that the variable of work effectiveness is influenced by compensation and supervision. The results of other studies conclude that compensation and supervision partially have an effect on the work effectiveness of the employees at the Fire Department Bekasi

Abstract

The Effectiveness of Finger Print Attendance Implementation in Improving Employee Discipline at the Bintara Jaya Sub- District Office. Thesis of Public Administration Studies Program, Administrative Sciences Institute of Social Sciences and Management (Stiami). (Advised by Wahidin Septa Zahran, S.E, M.Si and Dr. Yurisman Star, S.E, M.Si). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the fingerprint attendance implementation in improving employee discipline at the Bintara Jaya Sub-District Office. The study was Qualitative research, which is a form of research that provides an overview by digging up data and facts in the field. The sources of the data were primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques were in the forms of observations, interviews and documentation with 8 informants. The results showed that the application of fingerprint attendance on 4 variables namely, target achievement, Adaptation, Satisfaction and responsibility had been effectively implemented at the Bintara Jaya Sub- District Office while the obstacles that occurred were power failures, bad internet network, and machine errors. The solution for undisciplined employees was by conducting a persuasive way to invite for discussion, give advice and motivation. Of course, it is hoped that the application of fingerprint attendance at this time can run well again in the future.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important factor in supporting the success of a company. Regional Original Income (PAD) is income that shows the ability of a region to collect sources of funds to finance regional activities. Supervision is basically fully directed to avoid any possibility of deviation from the objectives to be achieved.This study aims to find out and analyze how much the relationship between supervision and staffing competence has on the effectiveness of parking retribution collection by the UPTD (Service Technical Implementation Unit) LLAP (Transportation and Parking Traffic) of the Department of Transportation in East Bekasi District. The sample in this study were 60 LLAP Employees of the Department of Transportation, East Bekasi City District and the Community. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study show that supervision of 62.2% has an effect on the Effectiveness of Parking Retribution Collection. And the t-test shows that there is a positive and significant effect. Personnel Competence of 43.9% has an effect on the Effectiveness of Parking Retribution Collection and the t-test shows that there is a positive and significant influence. Simultaneous test results show that Supervision and Personnel Competence have an effect of 65.8% on the Effectiveness of Parking Retribution Collection. Based on the Anova F Test, it is known that the value of Sig. is equal tob 0.001 <0.05, it can be concluded that Supervision (X1) and Personnel Competence (X2) simultaneously affect the Effectiveness of Parking Retribution Collection (Y)
