Abstract

The aim of implementing this service is to provide strengthening and political education to students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Mataram towards intelligent returning voters ahead of the 2024 simultaneous elections. The method used is a socialization and counseling approach. The results of socialization and political education outreach to students to become smart voters towards the integrity of the 2024 election which was held in the hall of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Mataram. With political education outreach, it is hoped that every student will not only know but also become a citizen who has political awareness to be able to carry out responsibilities as demonstrated by changes in attitudes and increased levels of participation in the world of politics.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Pernikahan anak adalah salah satu faktor pemicu tingginya angka KDRT dan perceraian, sekaligus sebagai penyumbang angka pengangguran dan TKW paling tinggi, terutama di Lombok. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan melakukan pendekatan akademis dan emosional dengan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan dan sosialisasi bahaya pernikahan anak kepada siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Ishlahussibiyan Gunungsari dengan melibatkan Kepala Sekolah, Mahasiswa KKN kelompok 19 sebanyak 10 orang dan anggota penyusun pengabdian pada masyarakat 1 orang. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan sosialisasi terkait bahaya pernikahan anak, terutama untuk anak perempuan. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan FGD dan kampanye pencegahan pernikahan anak. Hasil wawancara dan juga questionnaire yang diedarkan kepada 21 anak menunjukkan bahwa mereka mendapatkan manfaat dari presentasi diskusi terkait dampak negative pernikahan anak, mereka memiliki pandangan baru tentang masa depan dan cita-cita pribadi ketika menyaksikan beberapa video yang diputar peneliti. Video-video tersebut berisi motivasi-motivasi pendidikan yang sangat bagus untuk anak. Ada 2 video yang diputar pada kesempatan tersebut, kedua video tersebut berdurasi 15 menit dengan konten yang sangat menginspirasi. Anak-anak mengaku mendapatkan banyak hal yang positif terkait masalah ekonomi maupun social yang selama ini menjadi kendala dalam kehidupan mereka. Kata kunci: Pernikahan Anak; Pilot Project; Motivasi Diri ABSTRACT Child marriage is one of the main causes of the high divorce and domestic violence rates, as well as the biggest factor in Lombok's unemployment and TKW rates. Through counseling and education of adolescents on the risks of child marriage, this service initiative seeks to adopt an academic and emotional approach with the community. This service conducted at MTs Al-Ishlahussibiyan Gunungsari, involved the principal, 10 KKN students from group 19, 1 member and students. This service was done through counseling and socialization in terms of child marriage, specially it is bad impact to the girls. Then, it was followed up in the form of FGD and preventing child marriage campaign massively. The findings from interviews and a questionnaire given to 21 kids revealed that they gained knowledge from the discussion presentations on the consequences of child marriage and that seeing many movies performed by researchers changed their perspectives on the future and their own personal objectives. These videos offer kids some excellent educational inspiration. The two 15-minute videos with incredibly motivational content were played. The kids acknowledged that while facing obstacles in their life due to economic and societal issues, they had gained a lot of benefits.Keywords: Child Marriage; Pilot Project; Self-Motivation

Abstract

This study investigates the perceptions of SB KAMUS Gombok Utara students regarding the school's efforts to promote character education rooted in the noble values of the Indonesian nation. The effectiveness of character education hinges on students experiencing firsthand the significance of humanism. This research explores how students perceive character education integration with Indonesian national values within their school context. Employing a quantitative approach grounded in descriptive statistics, data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that 62.96% of the 27 participating students felt adequately prepared regarding strengthening character education, while 37.04% were somewhat prepared. Furthermore, 59.26% of the students felt ready regarding the cultivation of character education content based on noble values, while 40.74% were very prepared. Various factors were identified to influence the educational environment, including teacher and parental awareness, consistency in applying noble values, resource limitations, evolving social values, challenges in progress measurement, shifting priorities, and cultural diversity. Despite these challenges, concerted efforts from stakeholders—comprising families, schools, and communities—can surmount obstacles and fortify the youth's development of positive character traits.

Abstract

Politics plays a crucial role in determining the direction of infrastructure development and socioeconomic empowerment of the community in North Lombok. Development is inherently linked to government policies and practices, particularly in realizing the nation's aspirations for social justice for all Indonesian citizens. The people of North Lombok tend to expect political support in infrastructure development and community empowerment programs such as training, skill development, and economic empowerment for women rather than participating in politics to improve family economics. They also believe that political support can enhance access to education, healthcare, and other essential services but need more confidence in allocating budget funds according to the needs of the North Lombok community. This research focuses on measuring the extent to which community well-being, particularly in terms of infrastructure and socioeconomic aspects, is influenced by political involvement. Data analysis is conducted in two stages: descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate a significant influence of political involvement on infrastructure development, accounting for 45.3% of the variance. Political engagement also significantly impacts the socioeconomic empowerment of the North Lombok community, explaining 47% of the variance. This study has important implications for policymakers who want to consider political factors in the planning and implementing development and community empowerment programs in the North Lombok region.

Abstract

Abstrak Program sosialisasi "Tumbuh Tanpa Tekanan: Stop Bullying dan Hindari Perkawinan Anak (Become agent of change trough awarrnes)" yang dilaksanakan oleh tim mahasiswa PLP 2 KKN-DIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram di SMKN 1 Janapria pada 18 September 2024 berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap isu bullying dan perkawinan anak. Dengan pendekatan materi yang komprehensif dan interaktif, siswa memahami definisi, bentuk, dampak, serta pencegahan bullying, dan dampak negatif pernikahan di bawah umur. Partisipasi aktif dalam sesi diskusi menunjukkan keterlibatan siswa, sedangkan pembagian instrumen evaluasi mendorong refleksi pribadi terhadap pengalaman mereka terkait kedua isu tersebut. Dukungan dari pihak sekolah, termasuk kepala sekolah dan guru, turut memfasilitasi kelancaran kegiatan. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini menciptakan dasar yang kuat untuk tindakan pencegahan berkelanjutan terhadap bullying dan perkawinan anak di lingkungan sekolah, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk program sosialisasi yang lebih efektif di masa mendatang. Kata kunci: tumbuh tanpa tekanan; stop bullying; perkawinan anak Abstract The socialization program “Grow Without Pressure: Stop Bullying and Avoid Child Marriage (Become agent of change through awareness)” implemented by a team of PLP 2 KKN-DIK students of Muhammadiyah Mataram University at SMKN 1 Janapria on September 18, 2024 succeeded in raising students' awareness of the issues of bullying and child marriage. With a comprehensive and interactive material approach, students understood the definition, form, impact, and prevention of bullying, and the negative impact of underage marriage. Active participation in discussion sessions demonstrated student engagement, while the distribution of evaluation instruments encouraged personal reflection on their experiences related to both issues. Support from the school, including the principal and teachers, facilitated the smooth running of the activities. The results of this socialization create a strong foundation for sustainable preventive actions against bullying and child marriage in the school environment, and provide recommendations for more effective socialization programs in the future. Keywords: growing up without pressure; stop bullying; child marriage

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai gotong royong dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Mataram pada era digital. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai gotong royong dilakukan secara terencana melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang menekankan kerja sama, empati, dan kepedulian sosial. Guru PPKn berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dan teladan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai gotong royong ke dalam berbagai aktivitas kelas, baik konvensional maupun berbasis digital. Penggunaan media digital seperti Canva, video pembelajaran, dan Google Classroom terbukti mampu memperkuat nilai kebersamaan siswa dalam bekerja sama menyelesaikan tugas kelompok. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan perangkat digital dan pengaruh individualisme, guru menunjukkan inovasi melalui strategi kolaboratif berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn berperan strategis dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa agar tetap relevan di tengah arus digitalisasi pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penguatan karakter sosial siswa di tengah berkembangnya sikap individualisme dan rendahnya kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Program Berlian Sejati dalam mengembangkan nilai kebersamaan dan tanggung jawab sosial siswa SMP. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, 5 guru, dan 30 siswa SMPN 1 Labuapi yang dipilih secara purposive, meliputi siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Berlian Sejati berperan dalam membentuk sikap kerja sama, kepedulian sosial, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab siswa melalui kegiatan kerja bakti yang dilaksanakan secara rutin sehingga mampu menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang bersih, harmonis, dan kondusif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemaknaan dan literasi kewarganegaraan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 9 Mataram. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 78 siswa dan satu guru Pendidikan Pancasila yang dipilih secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi kewarganegaraan siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor 72,1. Indikator partisipasi siswa tergolong tinggi, namun kemampuan berpikir kritis masih relatif rendah. Dari sisi pemaknaan, sebagian besar siswa berada pada tahap pemaknaan tekstual (41%), diikuti pemaknaan kontekstual (37%) dan reflektif (22%). Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran partisipatif, peran guru sebagai fasilitator, serta penggunaan media digital berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi kewarganegaraan siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran cukup tinggi, pemaknaan nilai-nilai Pancasila belum sepenuhnya mendalam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan reflektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas literasi kewarganegaraan siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Kompetensi metodologis surveyor merupakan faktor krusial dalam menjamin kualitas dan validitas data penelitian survei. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Lembaga Presisi adalah rendahnya pemahaman surveyor terhadap prinsip-prinsip metodologi penelitian yang berdampak pada inkonsistensi pengumpulan data. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi metodologis 35 surveyor Lembaga Presisi melalui workshop intensif selama tiga hari. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi lapangan, dan praktik langsung penggunaan instrumen penelitian. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta observasi partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman surveyor dari rata-rata skor 58,4 menjadi 84,7 (peningkatan 45%). Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam merancang kuesioner, melakukan sampling, teknik wawancara terstruktur, dan verifikasi data. Implementasi workshop ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas kerja surveyor yang terukur dari peningkatan akurasi data dan penurunan tingkat kesalahan pengisian instrumen sebesar 67%. Kata kunci: kompetensi metodologis; surveyor; workshop; metode penelitian; pengumpulan data. Abstract Methodological competence of surveyors is a crucial factor in ensuring the quality and validity of survey research data. The problem faced by Lembaga Presisi is the low understanding of surveyors regarding research methodology principles which impacts data collection inconsistency. This community service activity aims to improve the methodological competence of 35 surveyors at Lembaga Presisi through an intensive three-day workshop. The implementation methods include interactive lectures, group discussions, field simulations, and direct practice using research instruments. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test as well as participatory observation. The results showed a significant increase in surveyor understanding from an average score of 58.4 to 84.7 (45% increase). Participants demonstrated improved abilities in designing questionnaires, conducting sampling, structured interview techniques, and data verification. The workshop implementation had a positive impact on surveyor work quality measured by increased data accuracy and a 67% reduction in instrument completion error rates. Keywords: methodological competence; surveyor; workshop; research methods; data collection.
