Abstract

This study aims to describe the students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in online learning. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach and descriptive qualitative research design and data collection techniques in the form of testing and interviews. The subjects in this study were three students 7 grade students of Junior High School 1 Sukaraja, taking the subject in this study using purposive sampling. Based on the results of the study, that students who have the ability to think critically mathematically high category that is collecting and compiling information needed, find ways that can be used to solve problems, analyze data and draw conclusions and similarities needed. Students who have the ability to think critically mathematically categories are fulfilling one to two components of mathematical critical thinking that is finding ways that can be used to solve problems analyze data. Students who have low category mathematical critical thinking skills do not meet the four components of mathematical critical thinking ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning obstacles of blind students in an inclusive class at one of the high schools inSukabumi City as an inclusive schools. The method used is a qualitative method to analyze the learning difficulties of blind studentsin the inclusive class. The learning material that is focused on is trigonometry material which is quite abstract but quite applicable forall students in mathematics subjects. The analysis was carried out by observing the responses of blind students and other students inthe class simultaneously to the learning given to trigonometric material. The results show that learning obstacles of blind students ininclusive class include abstraction difficulties, inappropriate learning trajectory and lack of basic mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to know the improvement of mathematical connection ability in the students who get thegeometry learning according to Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese culture approach compared with the students who getthe conventional learning. (2) to know the improvement of self efficacy in the students who get the geometry learning accordingto Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese cultural approach compared to the students who get the conventional learning. (3)to know the relationship between the ability of mathematical connection with self efficacy in the learning of geometry. Thisresearch is a quasi experimental design experiment using non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjectsof this study are the students of grade XI SMAN 1 Sukabumi and SMAN 3 Sukabumi academic year 2014/2015.The variable of this research consists of 2 variables, namely independent variables in the form of learning geometry accordingto van hiele theory with the approach of Sundanese culture and dependent variable in the form of mathematical connectionability and student self efficacy. Technique of collecting research data using mathematical connection ability test on geometrymaterial and self efficacy scale. Technical analysis of data in this study using inferential statistics which includes t-test sampleindependent and Pearson product moment correlation analysis. This test is done with the help of SPSS Version 20.00software. The results showed that the improvement of mathematical connection ability of students who acquired geometrylearning according to Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese culture approach differed significantly compared to students whoreceived conventional learning and increased self efficacy of students who acquired geometry learning according to Van Hieletheory with different Sundanese cultural approach significantly compared with students who received conventional learning,but there is no significant relationship between mathematical connection ability and self efficacy of students on learninggeometry.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan hal yang harus dimiliki peserta didik. Dalam belajar matematika peserta didik sering kali mengalami kesulitan ketika menyelesaikan soal yang berbeda dengan contoh yang diberikan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa ditinjau dari disposisi matematis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang yang masing-masing diambil dari hasil angket disposisi matematis pada kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket, tes, dan wawancara. hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis tinggi berada pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori tinggi, 2) siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis sedang berada pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori sedang, 3) siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis rendah berada pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (a) Menganalisis modul ajar matemaika yang digunakan oleh guru pelaksana program sekolah penggerak; (b) Menganalisis pembelajaran matematika di kelas pelaksana program sekolah penggerak; dan (c) Menganalisis penilaian matematika di kelas pelaksana program sekolah penggerak. Metode Penelitian ini adalah metode campuran yang menggunakan model Explanatory Design dengan langkah-langkah (1) proses kuantitatif dengan melibatkan penilai untuk modul ajar, asesmen, proses pembelajaran dari luar ruang lingkup penelitian diantaranya Fasilitator Sekolah Penggerak daerah lain, guru SMA daerah lain dan dosen yang tidak terlibat dalam Program Sekolah Penggerak ;(2) proses kualitatif yang dikuatkan dengan observasi dan wawancara yang dilaksanakan peneliti sekaligus berperan sebagai fasilitator sekolah penggerak dari 4 sekolah subjek penelitian; dan (3) proses interpretasi data dan penyimpulan dari hasil kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yakni 4 Sekolah Penggerak dampingan peneliti. Ketiga tahapan penelitian tersebut berfokus pada kemampuan berpikir matematis yang merupakan salah satu profil pelajar Pancasila yakni berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Analisis modul ajar didapat visualisasi modul ajar, muatan materi dan muatan profil pelajar Pancasila pada modul ajar secara menyeluruh dari subjek penelitian sudah baik. Analisis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada proses pembelajaran belum tampak. Analisis asesmen menunjukkan muatan asesmen diagnostik dan muatan asesmen berdiferensiasi sama-sama masih kurang baik. Selain itu rata-rata penilaian untuk muatan stimulus kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif pada modul ajar, pembelajaran dan asesmen yang digunakan belum optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menggunakan soal cerita islami. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 3 orang siswa kelas VII-B Mts Tarbiyatul Falah yang berada di Selabintana dan sudah mempelajari materi perbandingan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen utama adalah peneliti sendiri dan didukung instrumen tes satu butir soal uraian dan wawancara. Soal uraian tersebut akan mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berdasarkan indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Polya dan didukung kesimpulan hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes dan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi keempat tahapan polya dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita islami, yaitu: memahami masalah, menyusun rencana, menyelesaikan perencanaan, dan memeriksa kembali. (2) Siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sedang mampu memenuhi ketiga tahapan polya dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita islami, yaitu: memahami masalah, menyelesaikan perencanaan, dan memeriksa kembali. (3) Siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis rendah mampu memenuhi kedua tahapan polya dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita islami, yaitu: memahami masalah dan menyelesaikan perencanaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of animation-based teaching material of social arithmetic topic animation-based teaching material of social arithmetic to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The method used in this research is R&D research with Borg and Gall development model which is limited to 5 stages, namely potential and problems, finding information, product design, design validation, and design improvement. By involving 3 experts namely 2 material experts and 1 media expert. The results of the study show that animation-based teaching material of social arithmetic are very valid with an average percentage of material experts at 93.5% and 96% of media experts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis signifikansi factor-faktor pendukung variable pengalaman guru, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pembelajaran yang mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kurikulum merdeka . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dimana pengumpulan data secara survey pada sampel yang dipilih secara purposive, dan pengolahan data dengan analisis klaster serta Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh factor-faktor pendukung masing-masing variable signifikan dan hanya 3 dari 18 faktor keseluruhan yang memiliki nilai loading factor lemah (<0,3). Analisis signifikansi persamaan structural dari variable pengalaman guru ke pembelajaran berdiferensiasi diperoleh hasil signifikan, variable pengalaman guru ke pembelajaran mendorong berpikir kritis tidak signifikan dan variable pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ke pembelajaran mendorong berpikir kritis signifikan. Adapun efek tidak langsung dari variable pengalaman guru menuju pembelajaran berdiferensiasi kemudian menuju pembelajaran mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis signifikan. Model yang dibuat juga cocok untuk digunakan menganalisis variable-variabel dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The aim of this study was focuses on the analysis of international publications related to critical thinking skills in education including the number of publications and how they trend, the distribution of study countries, study types, study subjects, critical thinking linkages that arise from published publications. analyzed, data collection instruments, data analysis and results of study on these publications.  the most distribution of data related to critical thinking skills in 2021 with the distribution of countries namely Indonesia, USA, Iran, Malaysia, Turkey, UAE and the most publications obtained by Indonesia. The most common type of study is qualitative study, followed by quantitative study and then study and development. The study subjects used in the article are quite spread out from early childhood, elementary school students, junior high school students, high school students, university students, teachers to the books used. Most of the study trends discussed here relate to teacher pedagogical competence, problem solving, achievement, creative thinking, peer shared intervention and communication skills as a form of cooperation in 21st century skills. Test instruments are used the most, then questionnaires, interviews, continued questionnaire and observation guide, systematic literature review and finally book scoring. data analysis using percentage is the most, data analysis with descriptions then t test and ANOVA.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning Based Mathematics Teaching Module to Improve the Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability of Elementary Students and test its quality based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). This research was conducted on 23 fifth-grade students at SDN Pakujajar CBM. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets by material and media experts to test the validity of problem-based learning-based mathematics teaching modules, teacher and student response questionnaires to test the practicality of problem-based learning-based mathematics teaching modules, and student mathematical critical thinking ability tests to test the effectiveness of problem-based learning-based mathematics teaching modules. Data analysis techniques in this study used Hypothesis Test and N-Gain. The results of the study obtained are: (1) The problem-based learning mathematics teaching module is included in the very valid category. (2) Based on the teacher and student response questionnaire, a very good response was generated regarding the teaching module developed, and the problem-based learning mathematics teaching module was included in the very practical category. (3) Based on the results of the Hypothesis Test and N-Gain analysis, it shows an increase in students' mathematical critical thinking skills in the moderate category, so the problem-based learning-based mathematics teaching module is declared effective.
