Abstract

This activity includes lesson study activities developed with three cycles through three stages, namely plan, do and see. This activity aims to improve student learning activities through the application of productive creative learning models. This activity was carried out in the fifth semester Pancasila education and citizenship education program Muhammadyah Mataram University, three cycles or three meetings (3 x 90 minutes), on the topics of learning theories, learning media, and information technology. From the results of the activity data it can be concluded that, the stages of productive creative learning that have been applied have succeeded in increasing student learning activities. This is because, all stages of learning activities emphasize the involvement of students from the beginning to the end of learning. Besides that, lecturers position themselves as facilitators and facilitators that are good for student learning activities. The implementation of the lesson study during the activity also strengthened the legality between the LS team, formed mutual learning (mutual learning), and increased the professionalism of lecturers as educators and instructors.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan tutor PKBM tentang media pembelajarandan meningkatkan penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar di PKMB. langkah yang telah ditempuh dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini mencakup beberapa tahap yakni 1) Persiapan, 2) Pelaksanaan Pelatihan, yang mencakup penyajian materi, penugasan praktik, valuasi dan penyempurnaan karya media pembelajaran,serta refleksi dan penutupan kegiatan pelatihan. Materi yang disajikan oleh pengabdi dapat diterima, dicerna, dan dipahami peserta dengan baik. Jumlah peserta yang sebanding dengan jumlah pengabdi yang berperan sebagai instruktur menjadikan pelatihan ini menjadi lebih kondusif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini telah terlaksana dengan baik karena adanya dukungan dari berbagai hal yakni: Komunikasi dengan anggota tim berlangsung lancar dan efektif sehingga koordinasi tim pada proses persiapan, pembagian tugas, pelatihan dan simulasi dapat berlangsung dengan baik, peserta pelatihan yang terdiri dari tutor PKBM terlihat sangat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan dari awal hingga akhir kegiatan.Abstract: The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of PKBM tutors about learning media and increase the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process at PKMB. The steps that have been taken in this training activity include several stages, namely 1) Preparation, 2) Training Implementation, which includes material presentation, practice assignments, evaluation and improvement of learning media works, as well as reflection and closing of training activities. The material presented by the devotees can be received, digested, and understood by the participants well. The number of participants who are proportional to the number of devotees who act as instructors makes this training more conducive. This training activity has been carried out well because of the support from various things, namely: Communication with team members went smoothly and effectively so that team coordination in the preparation process, division of tasks, training and simulations could take place well, training participants consisting of PKBM tutors looked very good. enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in the training from the beginning to the end of the activity.

Abstract

Abstrak:Sehubungan dengan kurang tercapainya pangajaran menyusun teks fabel dengan kata-kata sendiri,  maka salah satu cara yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah menggunakan pendekatan berbasisotak (Brain Based Learning). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis otak (Brain Based Learning)ini diharapkan siswa dapat mengalami suatu proses pembelajaran yang terarah, merangsang daya berpikir, dan menyenangkan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan latar belakan gtersebut rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah Peningkatan Kemampuan Menyusun Teks Fabel dengan Kata-kata Sendiri dengan Menerapkan Pendekatan Berbasis Otak (Brain Based Learning) Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 5 Praya Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah ?Metode penentuan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara bertujuan. Makadari itu, yang dijadikan sampel adalah kelas VIII. Untuk mendapatkan data dalam penelitian inidilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi dan metode tugas. Sedangkan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: pada prasiklus atau tanpa menggunakan pendekatan berbasis otak (BBL) menunjukkan dari 36 orang siswa, yang memperoleh  skor kategori tinggi hanya 5 orang (13,88%), kategori sedang 31 orang (86,11%), kategori rendah tidak ada dan IPK 63,18 dengan kategori rendah. Dan pada siklus 1 yang menggunakan pendekatan berbasis otak (Brain Based Learning) yang dapat skor kategori  tinggi 10 orang (33,33 %) yang dapat skor kategori sedang 23 orang (58,33) sedangkan yang dapat skor dalam kategori rendah 3 orang (25%)  dan  IPK 69,77 dengan kategori normal. Selanjutnya pada siklus 2 yang 37 orang siswa, yang memperoleh skor kategori tinggi sebanyak 36 orang (97,29%), kategori sedang 1 orang (2.70%) , kategori rendah tidak ada dan IPK 77,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan berbasis otak (Brain Based Learning) dalam menyusun teks fabel dengan kata-kata sendiri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelasVIII SMPN 5 Praya Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Abstract:In connection with the lack of learning to compile fabled texts in their own words, one way that can overcome this problem is to use a Brain Based Learning approach. By using this brain-based approach (Brain Based Learning) it is hoped that students can experience a directed learning process, stimulate thinking power, and be fun in the implementation of learning. Based on the background of the discussion, the formulation of the problem in this study is How to Improve the Ability to Compile Fabled Texts with Their Own Words by Applying a Brain-Based Learning Approach for Grade VIII Students of SMPN 5 Praya Timur, Central Lombok Regency? The method of determining the subject of this study uses the purposive sampling method, namely sampling purposefully. Therefore, what is being sampled is class VIII. To obtain data in this study, it is carried out by documentation methods and task methods. While the data analysis method used is a quantitative analysis method. Based on the results of data analysis in this study are as follows: in precyclical or without using a brain-based approach (BBL) it showed that out of 36 students, only 5 people obtained a high category score (13.88%), a medium category of 31 people (86.11%), a low category of none and a GPA of 63.18 with a low category. And in cycle 1 which uses a brain-based approach (Brain Based Learning) that can score in the high category of 10 people (33.33 %) who can score in the medium category of 23 people (58.33) while those who can score in the low category of 3 people (25%) and a GPA of 69.77 with the normal category. Furthermore, in cycle 2, 37 students, who obtained a high category score of 36 people (97.29%), a medium category of 1 person (2.70%) , a low category of non-existent and a GPA of 77.72 with a high category. Thus, based on the results of data analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the use of a brain-based approach (Brain Based Learning) in compiling fabled texts with their own words can improve the ability of classVIII students of SMPN 5 Praya Timur, Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

Learning and learning are compulsory courses taught to students with the aim of forming and changing the mindset of students. The method used in learning needs to be determined, this is the running of the learning process. In this study, the method used was the cooperative method. The success of the work is greatly influenced by the involvement of each member of the group. Cooperative learning in this study was carried out Plan, Do, See, namely lesson study. The research was conducted at the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program in the 3rd semester of the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram. The research subjects were 16 students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program. This research was conducted from 6 to 30 October 2017. This type of research is quantitative research with an action approach through lesson study activities. The results of the research "improving learning ability in learning and learning courses through cooperative methods in students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program" show that (1) the learning and learning process using cooperative methods whose implementation there is discussion and role playing can be done by providing learning tools, namely RPS, RPM, methods, learning media, learning resources,  assessment, then create chapter design, lesson design. (2) the improvement of student learning abilities is influenced by the availability of maximum learning tools, learning media that can hone student mindsets such as observing, identifying, analyzing, discovering new things, communicating, and concluding learning and learning concepts, and learning methods. (3) the average score of students' ability to explain concepts of learning and learning problems is 57.3%, open lesson 2 is 71.1%, and open lesson 3 is 85.7%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pemanfaatan  bahan ajar PPKn dalam pembelajaran daring guru-guru peserta PPG dan guru pamong Program PPG Angkatan 1 PPKn Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Adanya pandemic ini memberikan dampak kepada proses dan model pembelajaran kepada siswa. Perubahan proses pembelajaran dari luring ke model daring dan juga blanded learning, berpengaruh kepada model pembelajaran dan implementasi penggunaan bahan ajar. Di dalam kondisi pandemic sekarang ini menuntut guru untuk merubah mindeset dalam model pembelajarannya termasuk dalam pemanfaatan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran daring yang semula terbiasa memberikan materi dalam bentuk buku teks, modul dan power point kepada siswa untuk dipelajari. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menjadi urgen, dan saat yang tepat untuk mengevaluasi implementasi pemanfaatan bahan ajar selama masa pandemic dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi , menggunakan model CIPP (Contexs, Input, Proses, Product). Berdasarkan analisis data guru merubah RPP menjadi RPP blanded learning, Materi tidak hanya berbasis buku teks, tetapi sudah memanfaatkan produck teknologi seperti dari IG ,Youtube, Oke Zone, Google dan lain-lain. Dalam pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara blanded learning dan hasil pembelajarannya bisa diakses siswa melalui google classroom ataupun web sekolah. Kemampuan guru dalam persiapan dan implementasi bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran daring sudah baik. Hal yang masih diperlukan adalah pengayaan dalam materi dan sumber belajarnya.Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the use of PPKn teaching materials in online learning of PPG participating teachers and PPG Program pamong teachers Batch 1 PPKn University of Muhammadiyah Mataram. The existence of this pandemic has an impact on the learning process and model for students. The change in the learning process from offline to online models and also blanded learning, affects the learning model and the implementation of the use of teaching materials. In the current pandemic conditions, teachers are required to change their mindeset in their learning model, including in the use of teaching materials in online learning who were originally accustomed to providing material in the form of textbooks, modules and power points to students to learn. Therefore, this research is urgent, and the right time to evaluate the implementation of the use of teaching materials during the pandemic in online learning. This research is an evaluation study, using the CIPP model (Contexs, Inputs, Processes, Products). Based on the analysis of teacher data, changing rpp to rpp blanded learning, the material is not only textbook-based, but has utilized technology products such as from IG, Youtube, Oke Zone, Google and others. Learning is carried out in blanded learning and the learning results can be accessed by students through google classroom or the school web. The ability of teachers in the preparation and implementation of teaching materials in online learning is good. What is still needed is enrichment in the material and learning resources.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram pendidikan karakter telah menjadi fokus utama dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Salah satu pendekatan yang diadopsi oleh sekolah adalah program makan bersama, yang bertujuan untuk menggabungkan aspek interaksi sosial, nilai-nilai, dan kesadaran nutrisi sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini  dilakukan di SMP 1 Sukamulia, Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Mitra sasaran terdiri dari siswa SMP 1 Sukamulia. Kegiatan ini mengungkapkan bahwa program makan bersama di SMP 1 Sukamulia secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter positif siswa. Terdapat peningkatan yang bermakna dalam aspek kerjasama, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran sosial di antara peserta program ini. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang nutrisi dan pentingnya makanan seimbang. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan karakter. Program makan bersama bukan hanya berperan dalam memenuhi aspek gizi siswa, tetapi juga dalam membentuk karakter mereka secara menyeluruh. Implikasi dari temuan ini menggarisbawahi perlunya pengintegrasian program serupa dalam kurikulum pendidikan nasional untuk memajukan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Kata kunci : pembentukan karakter; pendidikan karakter; program makan bersama.AbstractCharacter education programs have become the main focus in efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. One of the approaches adopted by schools is the community meal program, which aims to combine aspects of social interaction, values, and nutritional awareness as a means of building student character. This service activity was carried out at SMP 1 Sukamulia, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The target partners consist of students from SMP 1 Sukamulia. This activity revealed that the communal eating program at SMP 1 Sukamulia significantly contributed to the formation of students’ positive character. There is a significant increase in aspects of cooperation, responsibility, and social awareness among participants in this program. Apart from that, this program also succeeded in increasing students’ understanding of nutrition and the importance of a balanced diet. The results of this research highlight the importance of a holistic approach to character education. The shared meal program not only plays a role in fulfilling students’ nutritional aspects but also in shaping their overall character. The implications of these findings underscore the need to integrate similar programs into the national education curriculum to advance character education in Indonesia. Keywords : character formation; character education; communal dining program
