Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman tentanh hasil penerjemahan pantun Begadisan Masyrakat Basemah di Kecamatan Kedurang Bengkulu Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi atau pengamatan langsung, wawancara, dan pencatatan. Data dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan dengan langkah-langkah: membca teks bahasa sumber, mentranskripsikan hasil pengamatan, mentabulasikan data, mengelompokkan data, interpretsi, dan kesimpulan yang berkaitan dengan bentuk, fungsi dan peran, dan terjemahan pantun tersebut.Hasil dan temuan penelitian adalah pengambaran ungkapan perasaan masyarakat Besemah melalui pendeskripsian tentang aktivitas percintaan pemuda dan sang gadis pujaan hati dituangkan melalui syair-syair atau biasa disebut pantun begadisan. Dalam sastra lisan pantun begadisan pada masyarakat Besemah berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk menampilkan estetika, menarik perhatian pendengar, sarana kritikan sosial dan moral, dan sebagai sarana komunikasi pergaulan muda-mudi dalam mengungkapkan isi hati kepada sang pujaan hati dan sarana penyampaian pesan moral. Pandangan masyarakat Besemah tentang karya ini lebih pada aspek sebagai sarana hiburan dan media komunikasi pergaulan muda-mudi pada masa lalu.Jadi, dahulunya acara pantun begadisan ini hanya dilakukan pada acara saat akan ada taaruf antara pria dan perempuan yang dilakukan secara tertutup di rumah sang perempuan. Tetapi sekarang acara pantun begadisan ini sudah diperluas sebagai acara hiburan jika ada acara-acara tertentu di daerah tersebut, misalnya acara pernikahan atau acara hiburan lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implicatures in Bengkulu Malay greetings in Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City. The method used is descriptive method. Based on the results of the research on the greeting implicatures in the Bengkulu Malay language greeting in the Teluk Segara sub-district, Bengkulu City, it can be concluded that there are 22 greeting implicatures which are divided into two, namely, a) conversation implicature with 3 data; b) conventional implicature as many as 19 data. Abstract

This study aims to describe the good and bad moral values ​​contained in the novel Imperpect by Meira Anastasia. This research was conducted using a structural approach because there is a relationship between the building elements, namely the intrinsic elements of the novel with moral values. Data analysis was carried out by classifying data, analyzing data, interpreting and drawing conclusions. The results of the study contained 49 data on moral values, consisting of 28 good morals and 17 bad moral values. The conclusion is that good morals in Meira Anastasia's novel Imperpect dominate more than bad moral values. Keywords: Good and Bad Moral Values, Novel, Structural Approach

Abstract

This study aims to describe the message in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. Data collection techniques using literature study techniques. The results of the study show that various messages are contained in the quote from the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. In the form of delivery of the mandate is divided into 2 ways, namely directly and indirectly. The most dominant form of delivery of the mandate is direct. In conclusion, there are 12 mandates in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye, namely, a) independent; b) mutual help; c) be responsible; d) filial piety to parents; e) forgive; f) loyal friends; g) the importance of education; h) be patient; i) honest; j) confident; k) brave; l) repay evil with good. Abstract

The implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education in the field of Community Service can be carried out by establishing cooperation between universities and certain agencies, both public and private. One form of activity that can be carried out is to provide counseling to children at the Al-Maun shelter, Bengkulu City. This activity is carried out in order to foster a culture of literacy in Indonesian children. The method used in this service is a community approach method, by inviting or motivating children to be able to improve literacy culture, especially reading and writing culture in children's daily lives. The activity steps include: 1) planning; 2) preparing extension materials; and 3) delivering materials with a view to motivating and cultivating a culture of literacy in children at the Al-Maun shelter in Bengkulu City. From the implementation of these activities, it can be concluded that: 1) children get information/knowledge about the importance of literacy culture, especially reading and writing culture and 2) children are motivated to apply Literacy culture in their daily lives.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pendeskripsian kualitas pilihan leksikal pada novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang mencakup pemanfaatan kosa kata bahasa Jawa, pemanfaatan kiasan/majas, dan hubungan leksikal dengan unsur tema. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kombinasi antara metode deskriptif analisis dengan metode hermeneutika. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pilihan leksikal pada novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang didapat dari hasil analisis pengkaji. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang diterbitkan oleh Neura Books tahun 2012 dengan jumlah 369 halaman. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, uraian rinci/transferability, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, auditing/dependability, dan Konfirmability. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pilihan leksikal yang terdapat dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara adalah leksikal yang berhubungan dengan gaya bahasa kiasan/majas, yang terdiri dari gaya bahasa eufimismus, litotes, pleonasme, hiperbola, persamaan/simile, metafora, personifikasi, metonimia, dan ironi. Selain itu, juga terdapat leksikal yang berbentuk kosa kata bahasa Jawa. Novel ini dapat dijadikan inspirasi bagi generasi muda agar tetap gigih dalam menuntut ilmu pendidikan walaupun masalah ekonomi yang lemah.Kata kunci: Leksikal, NovelAbstracThe purpose of this research is to gain a deep understanding of the description quality lexical choice of the novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara that includes the use of the Java language vocabulary, use of figurative/figure of speech, and lexical relations with elements of the theme. The method used in this study is a combination of descriptive analysis method with hermeneutic methods. The data in this research is lexical selection in the novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara obtained from analysis of the reviewer. Sources of data in this study is novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara published by Neura Books in 2012 with a number of 369 pages. Mechanical examination of the validity of the data used in this study were the extension of participation, persistence of observations, transferability, examination of peers, auditing/ dependability, and Konfirmability. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the choice of lexical contained in the novel Krishna Pabichara Shoes Dahlan is lexical associated with the style of figurative language/figure of speech, which is comprised of style eufimismus, litotes, redundancy, hyperbole, equality/simile, metaphor, personification , metonymy, and irony. In addition, there is also a lexical form of Java language vocabulary. This novel will be an inspiration for the younger generation in order to remain persistent in demanding science education despite weak economic problems. However, this novel has a weakness because of the Java language vocabulary which the author does not make sense or a translation of that vocabulary.Keywords: Lexical, Novel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cohesion marker used in the Cinta Suci Zahrana novel especially in the last chapter titled Cinta Suci Zahrana. This research uses qualitative research method with content analysis technique. The data in this research is cohesion in Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The source of data is the novel of Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data on the cohesion in the novel of the Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy is analyzed by steps in tracking the relationship of every two sentences in pairs, ie the relationship between a sentence with a preceding sentence characterized by the use of the cohesion marker. The results of research based on cohesion mechanisms between the sentences contained in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy there is a grammatical cohesion which includes referring, replacing, and sequencing. In addition, lexical cohesion is used which includes repetition, antonymy, collocation, hyponimi, and equivalence. Keywords: Cohesion, Novels, Discourse Analysis

Abstract

The aim is to describe declarative politeness (Sociopragmatic Study of Cases in District of Kaur Regency). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study were declarative actions of the Kaur community which contained the politeness of various situations and various speech partners which contained politeness in language. The source of data in this study is the community in the Kecamatan Kecamatan Kaur Regency. Data collection techniques using the technique of recording, recording, see competent involvement (SBLC), see competent involvement (SLC). Data analysis techniques, namely transcribing recorded data, identifying data, classifying data, analyzing, interpreting, concluding. The results showed that declarative acts were found to fulfill politeness based on the principle of politeness, namely 1) maxim of wisdom, 2) maxim of generosity, 3) maxim of appreciation, 4) maxim of simplicity, 5) maxim of consensus, and 6) maxim of sympathy. Conclusion, declarative speech acts of society have fulfilled politeness based on the principle of politeness. Keywords: Sociopragmatics, Politeness, Declarative Politeness

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe a precise, detailed and in-depth understanding of the implicature in the campaign discourse in the 2019 legislative elections. The research method is a descriptive method. The data collection techniques of this research are, (1) collecting political discourse of the Legislative Candidates in print media such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters displayed on the roadside and public places, (2) reading political discourse in the media print such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters as a whole to get a general picture, (3) reread political discourse in print media such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters as well as mark the parts contained implicature, (4) collect the marked part into the data list. Data analysis techniques are (1) the data that has been identified and then classified based on the form of the implicature, (2) describes the data that has been classified, (3) the implicature data that has been described is then analyzed, (4) based on the results of the implicature analysis then provides interpretation, (5) ) draw conclusions of research. Based on the results of research and discussion on the language implicatures in the 2019 legislative election campaign discourse, it can be concluded that the implications in the 2019 legislative election campaign discourse found 36 data that include (1) conventional implications, 19 data found and (2) conversational / nonconventional implications found, 36 implicative data including (1) conventional implications, 19 data and (2) conversational / nonconventional implications; as many as 17 data. The dominant implicature that was found was conventional data as much as 19 data. The implication used by campaigners in attracting the attention of the public to choose them by means of speech is delivered in a certain setting and purpose, the information said tends to be different from what is intended. Abstract

ABSTRAKRumusan masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah bentuk alih kode pada siaran “Rehat” Radio 104,3 Jazirah FM Bengkulu ? dan Penyebab terjadinya alih kode pada siaran acara “Rehat”  Radio 104,3 Jazirah FM Bengkulu ? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikani bentuk alih kode pada siaran “Rehat” Radio 104,3 Jazirah FM dan Mendeskripsikan terjadinya alih kode pada siaran acara “Rehat” di Radio Jazirah 104,3 FM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode diskriptif. Data yang digunakan  dalam penelitian ini tuturan penyiar radio Jazirah ketika membawakan acara “Rehat”. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah bahasa lisan yang digunakann penyiar Radio Jazirah 104,3 FM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak, rekam, dan catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mencatat data yang telah terkumpul, penyelesaian data, mengklasifikasi data berdasarkan masalah, mengklasifikasi dengan mengambil dan menginterprestasikan data berdasarkan permasalahan dan menyimpulkan semua data yang telah diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk alih kode terjadi pada penyiar Radio Jazirah 104,3 FM yakni alih kode dari bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Melayu Bengkulu, bahasa Serawai dialek Seluma, dan bahasa Serawai dialek Kaur. Penyebab terjadinya alih kode dikarenakan menciptakan suasana dan kesan lebih santai dan akrab, keikutsertaan penutur bahasa lain.Kata kunci : alih kode, Radio Jazirah, acara Rehat
