Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan alat peraga papan pecahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Adapun kelayakan diuji berdasarkan kevalidan dan keefektifan alat peraga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP IT di kota Lhokseumawe yang dipilihh secara acak dan diperoleh dengan sampelnya yaitu SMP IT Al-Markazul Islami dan SMP IT Zurriyatul Qur’an Al-Ma’arif. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan tes. Adapun instrument yang digunakan berupa angket kelayakan materi dan media serta tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik kuantitatif, dimana untuk kelayakan dihitung persentasenya kemudian diinterpretasikan sesuai kategori yang telah ditentukan. Sedangkan, untuk tes dianalisis dengan analisis n-gain. Hasil dari uji kevalidan, yaitu untuk validasi materi mencapai 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” dan untuk validasi media mencapai 78,24% dengan kategori “Baik”. Selain itu, uji kelayakan terhadap siswa (kelompok kecil) mencapai 83,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Selanjutnya, untuk hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, pada siswa kelas VII SMP IT Al-Markazul Islami memperoleh rata-rata pretest  6,93, rata-rata postest  36.23 dan perhitungan N-Gain  0,79 dan pada siswa kelas VII SMP IT Zurriyatul Qur’an Al-Ma’arif memperoleh rata-rata pretest  6,65, rata-rata postes  33.07 dan perhitungan N-Gain 0,71. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan serangkaian pengujian, disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga berupa papan pecahan telah memenuhi kriteria layak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.This research aims to analize the feasibility of fractions board to increase junior high school students’ problem solving ability. The feasibility test consist of validity test and affectiveness test. This research is  a part of research and development. Subject of this research are 7th grade student of junior high school in Lokhsumawe city. The sample of the subject come from SMP IT Al-Markazul Islami and SMP IT Zurriyatul Qur’an Al-Ma’arif. The data collection technique consist of questionnaire and test. The questionnaire consist of material validity questionnaire and media validity questionnaire. And for test is problem solving test. The data analize technique are by measuring the percentage of validity and interprete it to predefined category, and for the test was analized by using n-gain analysis. The result of the validity test are 86% or “Very Good” category for media validity and 78,24% or “Good” category for material validity. The result of small group test is 83,5% or “Very Good” category. The result of the test, for SMP IT Al-Markazul Islami, the average score pretest and posttest are 6,93 and 36,23, and for the n-gain score is 0,79. Then,  for SMP IT Zurriyatul Qur’an Al-Ma’arif, the average score pretest and posttest are 6,65 and 33,07, and for the n-gain score is 0,71. Based on the result of the test, it can be concluded that the fractions board can increase the students’ problem solving ability. The final result is the fractions board is feasible to increase the the students’ problem solving ability.

Abstract

The failure of students in studying complex analysis courses is based on student learning habits that only focus on memorizing concepts from the material studied without understanding it properly, and lack of motivation to repeat the material that has been studied. The teaching materials used in this course are textbooks. However, the textbook used still does not contain activities for students' mathematical reasoning abilities, students cannot learn independently from the book, because the material presented is difficult to understand, even lecturers who teach this complex analysis course have to redesign the material, writing in written form. hand is then given to the student. One effort that could be to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities is to facilitate learning resources with supporting teaching materials. In this study, teaching materials will be designed based on mathematical reasoning activities using the Missauri Mathematical Project (MMP) learning model. The research method used in this research is the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The development of complex analysis textbooks based on reasoning activities using the Missauri Mathematical Project learning model is feasible to be developed with the percentage of assessment by media expert validators obtained an average score of 91.79% in the "very valid" categories, and media expert validators obtained the average score. a score of 88.62% with the "very valid" categories. The results of the small group validation obtained a score of 83.5% with the "very valid" criteria. The results of the large group trial obtained a score of 85.5% with the "very practical" criteria. Abstrak Salah satu kendala dalam mata kuliah analisis kompleks adalah kegagalan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari materi yang disebabkan oleh kebiasaan belajar mahasiswa yang hanya terfokus untuk menghafal konsep dari materi yang diajarkan tanpa memahaminya secara mendalam, serta kurangnya motivasi untuk mengkaji ulang materi yang telah dipelajari. Sumber utama yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada mata kuliah ini yaitu buku paket. Namun, buku paket yang digunakan masih belum memuat aktivitas kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa, mahasiswa tidak bisa belajar secara mandiri dari buku tersebut, karena materi yang disajikan sulit untuk dipahami, bahkan dosen yang mengajarkan mata kuliah analisis kompleks ini harus mendesain ulang materinya, menulis dengan tulisan tangan kemudian diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Salah satu usaha yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa adalah dengan memfasilitasi sumber belajar dengan bahan ajar yang mendukung. Dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, bahan ajar akan disusun dengan berbasis aktivitas penalaran matematis menggunakan model pembelajaran missauri mathematic project. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pengembangan analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Pengembangan buku ajar analisis kompleks berbasis aktivitas penlaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran missauri mathematic project layak dikembangkan dengan persentase penilaian oleh validator ahli media diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 91,79% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”, dan validator ahli media didapat hasil skor rata-rata sebesar 88,62% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Hasil validasi kelompok kecil didapat nilai sebesar 83,5% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar didapat nilai sebesar 85,5% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini memaparkan perhitungan secara ekonomis konsumsi energi listrik pada rumah tipe 54 dengan sistem 220 VDC. Simulasi kedua sistem dilakukan dengan software ETAP. Instalasi dalam simulasi sistem dilakukan terhadap bebanbeban rumah tinggal dengan kabel yang panjangnya disesuaikan dengan jarak menuju beban-beban. Nilai arus, tegangan dan resistansi saluran dapat diketahui dari hasil running program. Nilai rugi-rugi sistem juga dapat diketahui melalui report manager. Perhitungan perencanaan pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) ini diarahkan sebagai analisis perbandingan biaya sampai kepada biaya perawatan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa rugi-rugi total pada instalasi rumah sebesar 0 watt, ini terjadi sebab pada software ETAP hasil simulasi diperlihatkan dalam satuan kWatt.Kata kunci : Energi Listrik, Rumah Tinggal, Sistem 220 VDCAbstract This study describes the economic calculation of the consumption of electrical energy in a type 54 house with a 220 VDC system. Both systems were simulated using ETAP software. The installation in the system simulation is carried out for residential house loads with cables whose length is adjusted to the distance to the loads. The value of current, voltage and line resistance can be known from the results of the running program. The value of system losses can also be known through the report manager. This solar power plant (PLTS) planning calculation is directed as a cost comparison analysis to maintenance costs. The simulation results show that the total losses in home installations are 0 watts, this occurs because in the ETAP software the simulation results are shown in kWt units. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse how learning communication is carried out at Malikussaleh University using google meet which is carried out during online learning. This research uses qualitative methods. The data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data sources come from primary data and secondary data. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that learning communication using google meet is considered less effective in learning and has advantages and disadvantages when used during learning. using google meet has disadvantages such as requiring a stable signal, using a lot of quota, and consuming a large mobile phone memory capacity because lecture material is sent via email or whatsap, then a little difficult to be interactive and an inadequate learning environment causes unfocused learning and sore eyes and fatigue due to staring at the screen for a long time and many students become passive.

Abstract

This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Lhokseumawe about the development of rectangular and triangular pocket books against the background of the lack of availability of textbooks in schools, coupled with inadequate learning media that supports students to study independently, thus causing low learning motivation of students. and learning outcomes have not increased. The aims of this study: (1) To determine the validity of the development of rectangular and triangular surface area pocket books as learning media for junior high schools, (2) to determine the feasibility of developing square and triangular surface area pocket books as learning media for junior high schools, (3) to find out responses teachers and students on the development of rectangular and triangular surface area pocket books as learning media for junior high schools. The design of this research is research and development called Research and Development (R D) using the Borg and Gall model modified into 7 stages according to Sugiyono. Data collection techniques using validation sheets and questionnaires. The results obtained from the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 91.48% and material experts obtained a percentage of 83.52% with a very valid category. The results of the feasibility of pocket books obtained a percentage of 84.69% with a very decent category, and teacher responses to pocket books obtained a percentage of 89.52% in a very good category, and students' responses to pocket books obtained a percentage of 80% in a good category. So it can be concluded that pocket books can be well received at SMP Negeri 8 Lhokseumawe. Recommendations from the research are expected to schools, institutions related to educational practitioners to conduct trials on a broad group so that the level of effectiveness can be known to support learning.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and describe how creative thinking skills and problem-solving strategies are used by prospective mathematics teacher students in solving non-routine problems. Non-routine problems given to the subject require the use of mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural knowledge or algorithms used to find solutions to solve them. The results of the analysis of student-teacher solutions show that each student uses at least two problem-solving strategies. The most frequently used strategies are using algebraic manipulation, making logical reasoning with diagrams/models, and trial and error. Students with high categories show proficiency in using appropriate problem-solving strategies and students with lower categories still show an introduction to solving strategies so that they are confused about choosing the right strategy for a particular problem.

Abstract

The challenges in learning mathematics at schools could be worrying because the delivery is usually less interesting which makes students feel bored with the lesson. Mathematics from the student’s perspective is considered a scary subject because it is very difficult to understand. This study aims to determine the feasibility level of learning media using Plotagon software in Mathematics Subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Terangun. This type of study is research and development (RD). The model used in this study is the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA I SMA Negeri 1 Terangun. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaires and observations. The instrument used is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of the study obtained were Plotagon Learning Media in the Mathematics Subject Circle material received an assessment with average score 3,36 from material experts, 3,45 from media experts, 3,80 from small group students and 3,83 from large group students. So it can be concluded that the Plotagon software learning media in the Mathematics subject matter Circle is suitable for learning at SMA Negeri 1 Terangun.

Abstract

This study discusses the Midi Drum Controller using the Arduino Mega which has many analog pins making it suitable for producing complete drum pads as well as piezoelectricity which is used to detect vibrations when the drum pad is beaten, as well as the Tcrt5000 sensor which is used to control the hi-hat so that it can move. from the sound of an open hi-hat to a closed hi-hat. The results of this study indicate that piezoelectricity can detect vibrations and dynamics of strong and weak drum beats and send the game to midi-based virtual drum applications. The Tcrt5000 sensor used can also work well, judging by the sound it produces and the data sent when the Tcrt5000 sensor is on and off.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia pada umumnya, hingga Aceh khususnya, tidak terkecuali Kota Lhokseumawe membuat para guru di sekolah  menengah  atas harus mengajar secara daring. Hal ini menyebabkan guru harus menguasai teknologi informasi secara mumpuni, sekurang-kurangnya menguasai penguasaan internet, menyiapkan materi ajar secara daring, membuat konten pembelajaran secara daring dan mengemas situasi pembelajaran dari tatap muka di kelas menjadi dalam jaring (daring). Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dengan menerapkan pembelajaran secara daring dengan berbagai platform yang ada dan serba kekurangan. Ada yang menggunakan video pembelajaran, elearning, google classroom dan lainnya sebagai cara agar eksistensi pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Berbagai mata pelajaran mengalami kondisi yang sama, dan tidak terkecuali pada pelajaran matematika. Pada pelajaran matematika dituntut siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri, mengerjakan soal dan memahami materi dengan cara masing-masing. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru tentu mempengaruhi terhadap berbagai kemampuan siswa, termasuk  kemampuan  matematis. Maka oleh sebab  itu, diperlukan sebuah solusi yaitu perlu danya pelatihan dan sosialisasi bagaimana membuat video ajar (video pembelajaran) bagi para guru untuk mengajar pada masa pandemi ini, khususnya pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif, terlebih pada pelajaran matematika menuntut kreativitas guru dalam membuat video pembelajaran matematika. Pengabdian pemberdayaan ini diharapkan dapat menjawab persoalan guru yang mengalami kendala bagaimana membuat video pembelajaran matematika sebagai solusi pembelajaran daring ditengah masa buruk ini.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda negeri ini mulai dari level pemerintah pusat hingga gampong (desa), berdampak pada pengangguran  masyarakat dan  rendahnya daya beli  masyarakat di gampong. Meskipun demikian, bagi sebagian  masyarakat khsususnya masyarakat Gampong Cot Keumuneng menganggap bahwa untuk bertahan  hidup hanya dapat dilakukan dengan  memulai merintis usaha-usaha baru, maka disini munculnya kelompok-kelompok masyarakat atau UMKM gampong yang ingin membuka usaha secara mandiri. Namun, rintisan usaha tersebut  mendapat hambatan mengenai pemodalan untuk usahanya. Selain itu, sulitnya mendapatkan akses bagaimana memperoleh modal usaha untuk memulai usaha baru. Keterbatasan modal membuat masyarakat tidak mampu menumbuhkan ekonomi rumah tangga. Oleh sebab itu, dalam kesempatan ini kami menawarkan solusi melalui pengabdian desa lingkungan yang di buka oleh Kampus Universitas  Malikussaleh  kepada  para dosen, maka dengan ini peneliti memiliki sebuah cita cita dan rencana yang mengarah kepada bagaimana cara untuk mendirikan  sebuah lembaga yang  memberikan  bantuan  modal  usaha kepada masyarakat ekonomi  lemah secara berkesinambungan secara berkala sehingga  masalah  modal usaha bukan menjadi sebuah  kendala yang fatal. Maka untuk itu tema ini menjadi hal yang wajar dan bersifat menantang dengan mengarahkan  pada peneliti untuk  melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mewujudkannya, sehingga menjadi sebuah pengabdian yang sifatnya membantu  masyarakat  khususnya layanan modal usaha bagi masyarakat ekonomi lemah. Pelatihan  ini  sebagai  bentuk  pengabdian dari civitas akademika Universitas Malikussaleh  dalam rangka implementasi tridharma perguruan tinggi kepada kelompok masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
