Abstract

Language is a key medium for communication and has a significant impact on human development. Inability to communicate can lead to a lack of confidence and fear, particularly in public speaking, which is ranked as a more common fear than even heights. This highlights the importance of public speaking as a skill that, without practice, can cause psychological challenges in those unfamiliar with it. Hence, public speaking training is crucial to helping teenagers develop their potential. In addition to communication skills, teenagers need to be aware of the competitive job market and the importance of mastering technology. In Aceh, high unemployment and poverty rates are partly due to the workforce's lack of entrepreneurial skills and low interest in business, worsened by negative societal views on young entrepreneurs still in school. Most businesses run by young people still use outdated methods, even though smartphones, as tools for modern business, are widely available. However, smartphones are often used unproductively for gaming, social media, or online shopping instead of more beneficial uses like digital marketing. Entrepreneurship education and economic independence should be introduced early to foster responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit in youth. Encouraging creative thinking and proper smartphone use can help generate additional income. To address these issues, public speaking and digital marketing training was provided at Dayah Babul Huda, with students and teachers as partners. The goal is to shift their mindset for a better future, producing young individuals capable of communication and innovation. The training, held on July 26-27, 2024, was attended by 40 students and 10 teachers. Results were very positive, with 95% recognizing the importance of public speaking and digital marketing and 85% able to practice these skills effectively.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pemeriksaan Kesehatan gratis agar kualitas calon sumberdaya manusia di Indonesia pada umumnya dapat lebih ditingkatkan. Kegiatan ini focus pada pengecekan kadar gula darah untuk siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan jumlah penderita diabetes melitus (DM) tipe 1 di Indonesia mencapai 41,8 ribu orang pada tahun 2022. Angka tersebut menjadikan Indonesia sebagai negara dengan penderita diabetes tipe 1 terbanyak di ASEAN, serta peringkat ke-34 dari 204 negara di skala global. Penderita DM tipe 1 ini biasanya ada dikalangan remaja dan usia produktif, Tingginya jumlah Penderita DM diusia muda ini tentunya akan berdampak terhadap penurunan kualitas dan produktifitas SDM Indonesia di masa depan, dan hal ini akan memperburuk kondisi ketenagakerjaan Indonesia, karenanya perlu Upaya dan kepedulian untuk mencegah hal tersebut terjadi, salahsatunya dengan pengecekan kadar gula darah secara rutin. Mitra kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Siswa siswi kelas 10 Merdeka A di SMA Negeri 1 Bireuen. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di rumah ketua tim pengabdian. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan yang diikuti 33 siswa dari SMA Negeri 1 Bireuen ini berjalan lancar dengan hasil terdeteksi ada 2 siswa memiliki kadar gula darah tinggi dan 5 siswa mengalami hipoglikemi (kadar gula darah rendah).

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada adalah melalui pendidikan. Akibat dari Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan diterapkannya kebijakan Work From Home yaitu menganti proses KBM dengan mengunakan daring. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mendidik generasi muda menjadi warga negara yang demokratis dan membangun warga negara yang memahami dan mampu melaksanakan hak-hak dan kewajibannya sebagai warganegara. Melihat tujuan tersebut, tentunya sebagai seorang guru dapat menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dengan baik tidak terkendala. Dalam pembelajaran daring, materi PPKn banyak kendala terjadi, tidak saja guru tetapi orang tua memiliki andil dalam mendampingi anak-anaknya sehingga mereka dapat melihat langsung perkembangan kemampuan anaknya dalam belajar di rumah. Peran Teknologi dan informasi adalah sumber dan bahan ajar atau alat bantu serta fasilitas pembelajaran pada masa pandemi. Pembelajaran daring dapat dipermudah proses pembelajaran karena berbagai aplikasi dan plarform belajar online. Banyak persoalan-persoalan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak dalam pembelajaran daring. Di Desa Jaya Mekar Kecamatan Padalarang KBB, berlatar belakang pendidikan mayoritas lulusan SD, pekerjaan sebagai petani, berkebun, dan kerajikan cobek tentunya hal ini tak mudah untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman yang berbasis teknologi seperti sekarang ini. Dari penghasilan orang tuapun tentunya dapat terukur dan bukan penghasilan tetap yang terkadang turun dan naik. Kendala lain dengan alat komunikasi berbasis teknologi, kuota, dan jaringan karena letak geografis wilayah yang tidak memadai dan memungkinkan untuk bebas berselancar menggunakan aplikasi. Akan tetapi orang tua tetap mendampingi anak sesuai kemampuan yang dipunyai terutama menanamkan nilai-nilai moral yang baik kepada anak selama pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of production and land area on tea exports in Indonesia. The independent variables include production and land area while the dependent variable includes exports. The data used in this research is secondary data during the 2006-2020 period. The regression model used in this study is a multiple linear regression model with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. This study uses classical assumption tests such as the normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the results of the study, it shows that tea production has a positive and significant effect on tea exports in Indonesia, while land area has a positive and insignificant effect on tea exports in Indonesia. The test results for the coefficient of determination show that there is a relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable in this study of 78.39%, which means that the other 21.60% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Production and Labor Force Participation (Tpak) in the Agricultural Sector on Farmers' Exchange Rates in 34 Indonesian Provinces During the Covid 19 Pandemic. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency 2017-2020. This research uses panel data analysis method with the help of Eviews. The results of the study partially show that the production of the agricultural sector has a positive and significant effect on the farmer's exchange rate (NTP), while the labor force participation rate (TPAK) has a positive but not significant effect on the farmer's exchange rate (NTP), and the magnitude of the influence of the production and participation rate variables. The labor force in the provinces in Indonesia to the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in the provinces in Indonesia is 13.92% while the remaining 86.08% is influenced by other variables outside this research model

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of coffee exports, imports, and economic growth on Indonesia's trade balance in 2003-2018. The multiple linear regression analysis method tests the relationship between these variables. Data obtained from Indonesian Plantation Statistics for Coffee Commodities (2019). The research results show that coffee exports significantly negatively impact the trade balance, which means that an increase in coffee exports can cause a decline in the trade balance. On the other hand, coffee imports have a significant negative impact, indicating that increasing coffee imports can contribute to the trade balance deficit. The importance of policies that support increasing the competitiveness of coffee exports, controlling imports, and sustainable economic development to achieve a better trade balance. Further research can explore in-depth micro and macroeconomic aspects to produce more specific policy recommendations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of consumption, retail prices and GDP per capita on sugar imports in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of a time series for 1990-2022 obtained from the world bank and BPS (Central Statistics Agency). The data analysis method uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach, where the conditions for using this model are that all variables must be stationary first differences, have at least one cointegration equation and have a negative ECT (Error Correction Term) value so that the model is valid and can be used. The results show that in the short term consumption is not significant on sugar imports in Indonesia, while in the long term consumption has a negative and significant effect on sugar imports in Indonesia. The retail price variable has no effect on sugar imports in Indonesia in the short term, and in the long term retail prices have a positive and significant effect on sugar imports in Indonesia. The GDP Per Capita variable, both in the short and long term, has no effect on sugar imports in Indonesia.

Blerdasarkan hal tlerslebut maka plenulis akan mlembahas mlenglenai pleran dan upaya Dirlektorat Jlendleral Blea dan Cukai dalam mleminimalisir dalam mleningkatnya tindakan pidana klepableanan dlengan blerbagai pokok plermasalahan mlenglenai pleran dan upaya Dirlektorat Jlendleral Blea Dan Cukai dan apa saja yang mlenjadi klendala-klendala yang akan dihadapi dalam mleningkatnya tindakan klepableanan. Plenlelitian ini blertujuan untuk mlengletahui llebih dalam lagi Pleran Dan Upaya Dirlektorat Jlendleral Blea Dan Cukai Dalam Mleminimalisir Mleningkatnya Tindak Pidana Klepableanan. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of demand and price of substituted goods on the income of milkfish sellers in Lhokseumawe City. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from surveys. The data analysis method used in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression Model. The variables studied are free from the classical assumption tests. The results simultaneously show that the demand and price of substituted goods positively and significantly influenced the income of milkfish sellers in Lhokseumawe City. This study obtained the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) of   0,433580 or 43.3580%, which had a significant effect on the income of milkfish traders in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the provincial minimum wage (UMP) and land area on the Absorption of Labor in the Agricultural Sector in Indonesian Provinces. The research was conducted in 34 provinces from 2015 to 2020. The analytical method used is the fixed effect panel data regression analysis. The results showed that partially the UMP had no effect on employment, while the area of agricultural land had an effect on employment absorption, while simultaneously the UMP and land area had had an effect on employment in Indonesian provinces. West Java Province is the province with the largest intercept value, this means that changes in UMP and land area greatly affect employment in West Java. While overall, the magnitude of the influence of UMP variables and land area on employment absorption in Indonesia is 95.29%.
