Abstract

This development research uses the ADDIE model. The development design consists of five stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The learning approach used in this e-module is the SSI (Socio-scientific Issue) approach. The learning web-based e-module with the SSI approach was evaluated by material experts, media experts, practitioners and tested its effectiveness on students of class XI IPA SMA N 1 Jebus using a quasi experiment with a random control group pretest-postest design. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation. The data from this study were analyzed by descriptive and inferential stastics with the MANOVA test. The results showed that: 1) web-based e-module learning with the SSI approach is feasible to use in learning biology based on the assessment of material experts and media experts; 2) web-based e-module learning with the SSI approach is practical to use in learning biology based on the assessment of biology teachers and students; 3) web-based e-module with the SSI approach effectively improves students' critical thinking skills and self-awareness, as evidenced by the results of the MANOVA test which shows significant differences (Sig value 0.000 <0.05) between students who use and do not use the e-module.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether or not there is a significant difference in collaboration skills and mastery of conceptual knowledge of students who follow the STADBEL combined model learning in the experimental class with students who follow the Make a Match model learning in the control class on the subject of bacteria class X SMAN 1 Semparuk. In this study used non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was students of class X MIPA SMA. Sampling used cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used consisted of conceptual knowledge mastery tests and non-test collaboration skills in the form of questionnaires and self-assessment questionnaires of student responses to learning and student responses to learning models. Learning with the STADBEL combined model can be effective on collaboration skills and mastery of conceptual knowledge of students. A Sig value of 0.027 < 0.05, it is concluded that there is a significant effect of the STADBEL combined model on collaboration skills and mastery of conceptual knowledge of students. These results indicate that the STADBEL combined model effectively improves collaboration skills and mastery of conceptual knowledge of students of SMAN 1 Semparuk class X IPA on the subject of bacteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of problem-based student worksheets on environmental change material. This research is a type of development research (research and development) with research procedures using the 4D Model which consists of the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Godean in Class XI semester II. This student worksheet contains environmental problems in Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the study, showed that problem-based student worksheet on environmental change material is suitable for use with a percentage of 71.25% by material experts and 82.1% by media experts. The assessment of the biology teacher as a practitioner expert obtained results with a percentage value of 82.91% with a very practical category to use and an assessment of students with a percentage of 76.82% with a category worth using. It can be concluded that problem-based student worksheets are feasible and practical to use in the implementation of learning biology of environmental change material.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an electronic module based on socioscientific issues that is feasible to improve students' interest and argumentation skills. This research is development research with the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The product to be developed is an electronic module based on Socioscientific Issues on virus material. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, learning interest questionnaires. The resulting product is then validated by material experts and media experts, and a limited trial is carried out. Based on the results of the development of an electronic module based on socioscientific issues, it is concluded that the electronic module is feasible to be used for biology learning in terms of the assessment of material experts with an average value of 3.11 (very feasible) and the assessment of media experts with an average value of 3.77 (very feasible). And it is effective for increasing students' interest in learning as seen from the n-gains value of 0.55 with a moderate category and to improve students' argumentation skills with an n-gains value of 0.4 with a moderate category.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of an e-module assisted by augmented reality with a discovery learning model on virus material to increase scientific literacy and learning independence for class X high school students. The study employed the ADDIE development model by Dick and Carey, employing a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study involved 60 grade X students from SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih, with class X1 as the control group and X2 as the experimental group selected through cluster random sampling. Various instruments were utilized, including questionnaires from media and material experts, assessments by biology teachers, student responses, as well as tests on learning independence and science literacy. Data analysis encompassed descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicated the e-module's suitability, with media experts rating it at 98.37% and material experts at 99%. The practicality evaluation by biology teachers yielded a score of 95.32%, while student responses reached 96.96%. The N-Gain test demonstrated a substantial increase, and the One-Way MANOVA test indicated statistical significance (p <0.05). This e-module has demonstrated its viability, practicality, and efficacy in enhancing scientific literacy and learning independence concerning virus material.
