Abstract

The development of wellness tourism in Ubud has intensified destination competition, making an understanding of the factors that explain tourist satisfaction increasingly important. This study aims to examine the impact of pricing and service quality in wellness tourism on tourist satisfaction at Titi Batu Ubud. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 112 domestic and international tourists who have experienced the services of Titi Batu Ubud. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of this study confirm that price has a statistically positive effect on tourist satisfaction, while service quality is also proven to have a positive and significant influence. Furthermore, price and service quality simultaneously demonstrate a statistically positive relationship with tourist satisfaction. These findings indicate that price fairness in relation to the benefits received, along with high-quality service, are key components in creating tourist satisfaction. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a basis for the management of Titi Batu Ubud in formulating pricing strategies and enhancing service quality to promote higher levels of satisfaction and strengthen the competitiveness of wellness tourism destinations.

Abstract

Given the dominance of Generation Z in Indonesia's workforce and high resignation rates driven by work-life imbalance and job stress, job satisfaction has become a critical issue requiring attention—particularly in Denpasar, a hub for business and the creative industry characterized by high work demands. This study aims to analyze the impact of work-life balance and job stress on the job satisfaction of Generation Z employees in Denpasar. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey of 104 respondents selected via purposive sampling—specifically Generation Z employees aged 20–28 working across various sectors in Denpasar. Primary data were collected using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of 0.219, a t-statistic of 4.347, and a significance level of 0.000. Conversely, job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of -0.505, a t-statistic of -11.424, and a significance level of 0.000. Furthermore, work-life balance and job stress simultaneously exert a significant influence on job satisfaction, evidenced by an F-statistic of 65.988 and a significance level of 0.000. These findings suggest that improving work-life balance and effectively managing job stress can enhance job satisfaction among Generation Z employees; therefore, companies need to foster work environments that support employee well-being and mental health.
