Abstract

Pembelian branded stuff menjadi cara yang dilakukan mahasiswa untuk menjalin pertemanan serta menunjukkan prestise. Konformitas mendorong mahasiswa untuk membeli branded stuff agar sama dengan kelompok teman sebayanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keputusan mahasiswa dalam membeli branded stuff sebagai bentuk konformitas serta melihat bentuk konformitas terhadap pembelian branded stuff pada mahasiswa Kota Tangerang Selatan dalam perspektif teori Leisure Class Thorstein Veblen. Teori ini melihat pola konsumsi serta penggunaan luang yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan juga dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan cara menuliskan dalam bentuk catatan, lalu penyajian data dalam bentuk kata-kata dan juga paragraf dengan diakhiri penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapati hasil bahwa mahasiswa cenderung untuk membeli branded stuff karena adanya dorongan dari kelompok teman sebayanya. Penggunaan branded stuff dalam waktu luangnya terbagi menjadi idle curiosity, instinct of workmanship, predatory instict, serta naluri bersikap baik.

Abstract

Gerakan Literasi Sekolah or GLS is a government-led movement through the Ministry of Education and Culture to organize literacy activities throughout school education. GLS focuses on developing character through reading book material by cultivating a literacy ecosystem at school. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of GLS through students' understanding and perceptions of the program that has been undertaken. The approach method used in this research is descriptive qualitative data collection through teacher and student interviews at one of the high schools in Boyolali. The results showed that GLS is the result of policy mobilization from the government, with the issuance of Permendikbud Number 15 of 2015, which requires every school to organize GLS, and students are inevitably needed to carry out the regulation. In general, GLS in Indonesia is still at the stage of growing interest in reading. However, in its implementation, literacy is not implemented by the guidelines. The purpose of literacy still needs to be achieved as it should be. Students' perceptions and paradigms on literacy still include the meaning of reading and writing activities, students' awareness of reading needs to be improved, and GLS needs to be optimally integrated with GLK and GLM. However, overall, the school has been quite good in starting the stages of implementing GLS in their school.

Abstract

Surakarta dikenal sebagai kota budaya yang menjunjung tinggi sopan santun, keselarasan, dan nilai-nilai tradisional seperti guyub rukun dan ewuh pakewuh. Di tengah karakter budaya yang menjunjung keharmonisan tersebut, kehadiran dark jokes dalam pertunjukan stand-up comedy justru menarik perhatian pelajar sebagai audiens utama. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menggali konstruksi makna dark jokes serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaannya di kalangan pelajar penikmat stand-up comedy di Surakarta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dark jokes dimaknai bukan semata sebagai hiburan, melainkan sebagai bentuk ekspresi keresahan sosial dan kritik terhadap isu-isu tabu. Proses pembentukan makna berlangsung melalui tahapan eksternalisasi, objektivasi, dan internalisasi, sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam teori konstruksi sosial Berger dan Luckmann. Penerimaan terhadap dark jokes dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang budaya lokal, segmentasi audiens, pengalaman personal komika, fungsi sosial humor, tingkat paparan, batasan etika, serta kurasi materi. Fenomena ini memperlihatkan adanya negosiasi antara ekspresi budaya populer dan nilai-nilai tradisional dalam benak generasi muda Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya dan praktik Kelompok Bermain Lentera Hati dalam mewujudkan pendidikan layak anak pada usia dini dengan menggunakan analisis teori experiental learning pendidikan progressive John Dewey. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kekerasan yang masih ditemukan dalam pola asuh terhadap anak sehingga pemenuhan terhadap hak-hak anak tidak sempurna khususnya di Desa Kesuben, Kecamatan Lebaksiu, Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara kepada pihak yang terkait, observasi partisipatoris, dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengambil sample dalam penelitian ini digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil dari analisis penelitian ini menunjukan kesesuaian data antara praktik pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok Bermain Lentera Hati dalam memenuhi pendidikan layak anak dengan teori experiental learning pendidikan progressive John Dewey. Pendidikan yang diberikan secara penuh memperhatikan perkembangan anak dari berbagai aspek. Kelompok Bermain Lentera Hati memberikan metode belajar diluar kelas dengan memberikan pengalaman bermakna yang sesuai dengan konsep dasar dari experiental learning itu sendiri. Kata Kunci : experiental learning, hak-hak anak, pendidikan layak anak

Abstract

Batik is an intangible oral cultural heritage of Indonesia whose existence needs to be preserved. The preservation of batik in relation to the survival of generations capable of becoming batik makers is an important urgency. Given the sustainability of cultural identity will be maintained through inheritance from generation to generation. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the strategy of maintaining the young generation of batik makers in Surakarta City with a focus on the utilization of social capital in Laweyan Batik Village. This research was conducted in Laweyan Batik Village which is the largest and oldest batik production center in Surakarta City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The researcher used Robert Putnam's social capital theory with its 3 main elements, namely networks, norms, and trust. The results showed that social capital in Kampung Batik Laweyan plays a crucial role in supporting batik regeneration. The network of Kampung Batik Laweyan formed through FPKBL enables cooperation. Norms that include work systems and flexibility of rules with the principle of kinship frame behavior. The close network and norms foster trust, enabling effective coordination in the regeneration process.

Abstract

This study was chosen because of the rampant phenomenon of violence against children which is shown by a significant increase in the number of reports of violence from official institutions and schools. This study discusses the structuring that occurs in implementing preventive efforts carried out by SMA N 3 Sukoharjo and the community in dealing with violence against adolescents, providing students with a deep understanding of the negative impact of bullying behavior and equipping them with skills and strategies to stop and prevent bullying cases in the school environment. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Meanwhile, analyzing data is carried out in 3 stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were analyzed using the theory of Structuration by Anthony Giddens to relate agents and structures in the process of preventive efforts carried out by SMA N 3 Sukoharjo and the community in overcoming violence that occurs in adolescents. Teachers and school residents are agents while schools and communities are actors in a managerial structure.The results of the study show that schools and communities have various efforts such as carrying out socialization activities, making positive campaign wall posters about violence and the P5 video project to convey anti-bullying messages and highlight the negative impact of bullying behavior. Meanwhile, the community introduced the concept of pioneer pioneers (2P) and the formation of agents of change to encourage children to report violence or other inappropriate actions.

Abstract

Background: The improvement of sociology learning quality at the Senior High School level requires teachers to be able to integrate pedagogical technology and content comprehensively and contextually.Aims: This research is designed to equip teachers with the skill to develop teaching modules based on the utilizing deep learning technology within the TPACK.   Methods: Training was carried out in four stages: strengthening concept, composing modules, learning simulation, and feedback and reflection. The training method was participatory and contextual in nature, by emphasizing direct practice and collaboration between participants.Results: The result of training shows that teachers experience significant improvement in comprehending TPACK and are capable of composing lesson plans that integrate sociological content, reflective and problem-based approach. Evaluation outcomes revealed a significant improvement in participants’ comprehension, with average scores increasing from 70 (pretest) to 90 (posttest). The product yielded reflects in-depth contextual learning and involves technology use meaningfully. This training contributes to the transformation of teachers’ role as the facilitator of learning in digital era. Conclusion: The implication involves improved professionalism, digital literacy, and strengthened contextual learning strategy. The training resulted in an average increase of 20 points, signifying a shift in teachers' views on the holistic utilizing of technology, pedagogy, and content. The recommendation based on this activity is the need for sustainable facilitation and training model replication for other social science subjects.

Abstract

Tingkat kekerasan pada anak di Kota Surakarta masih terjadi sampai saat ini. Semua elemen masyarakat di Kota Surakarta perlu mendapatkan edukasi tentang pentingnya mencegah kekerasan terhadap anak, salah satunya adalah masyarakat Kelurahan Gandekan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan menggunakan metode Community Based Participatory (CBPR) dikarenakan memiliki kesesuaian kolaborasi antar komunitas maupun mitra yang dilaksanakan dalam praktik pengabdian ini. Dalam kegiatan sosialisasi ini disampaikan tentang anak dan bullying, hak anak, dampak bullying bagi anak, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan, bagaimana jika mengalami kekerasan dan apa yang harus dilakukan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak agar terhindar dari kekerasan. Dari hasil evaluasi menunjukkan jika para peserta mendapatkan manfaat dan edukasi yang menambah pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya mencegah tindak kekerasan terhadap anak.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of village fund management in community empowerment and to determine several factors that support and hinder the process of managing village funds in community empowerment. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research was conducted in Bendan Village, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency and data collection was collected using in-depth observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the management of village funds carried out by the Bendan Village government has gone very well and has been adapted to priority needs in the community, such as the post-pandemic food security program, the PKK development program for mothers, and the BUMDes formation program to manage various assets and potential. Owned by Bendan Village. The management of village funds for non-physical community empowerment is carried out in a more varied way by using the village's potential to encourage the community to be more independent in producing products such as food security programs in fish cultivation, goat cultivation, and grape cultivation. Supporting factors for managing village funds in empowering communities in Bendan Village are the timely disbursement of village funds, government policies, and the condition of local natural resources. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of community resources in Bendan Village and the village government's weak process of empowering the community.
