Abstract

Keadaan rumah yang sering ditinggal kosong oleh penghuninya akibat kesibukan mengurus bisnis dan kesibukan dikantor sangat rentan akan adanya aktifitas pencurian. Maka oleh sebab itu diperlukan inovasi baru yang dapat mengantispasi  aktifitas  pencurian  sebagai  peralatan  tambahan  dari  sistem penguncian yang telah ada. Kemajuan teknologi informasi saat ini tidak terlepas dari berkembangnya teknologi komunikasi telepon seluler atau dikenal dengan teknologi mobile.  Telepon  seluler  atau  smartphone  saat  ini  dapat  dimanfatkan  diberbagai bentuk alat kontrol atau monitoring, sebagai contoh yaitu: alat sistem monitoring rumah berbasis internet of things (IoT). Alat monitoring ini dapat membantu pemilik rumah untuk mengontrol dan memonitor keadaan didalam rumah dari jarak jauh karena terhubung dengan internet dan anda dapat mengontroll  pada smartphone dengan menggunakan alamat IP Address Wi-Fi yang telah terhubung dengan ESP32- CAM  melalui  web  browser.  Perancangan  dan  pembuatan  alat  ini  menggunakan ESP32-CAM melalui program Arduino IDE dan Web Browser yang kemudian menampilkan pada web browser pada smartphone sehingg smarta pemilik rumah dapat memantau dari jarak jauh.

Abstract

Controlling hydroponic plants, which is currently being carried outmanually, can be said to be less effective because it still involves thehard work of farmers to continuously monitor the condition of thehydroponic plants. Therefore, the general objective of this research isto develop a model that can be used as a recommendation system foractions that farmers need to take based on hydroponic crop conditions.The model formed with this machine learning method will then beused in the Hydromon application which allows farmers to manageand monitor the condition of hydroponic plants and take action basedon the recommendations given. This model was developed using adeep neural network algorithm consisting of five layers with the helpof the TensorFlow framework. The results show that the model isaccurate with an accuracy value of 96.47% on the test data to classifyplant conditions so that it can be used in the Hydromon application.

Abstract

Space phenomena are natural events that are rarely seen by humans and are still a lot of mysterious and interesting things to observe and study. In Indonesia, there are still few places to observe and study space phenomena. The Sumatran Institute of Technology (ITERA) has a technical implementing unit as well as a study program related to space. The units are the Lampung ITERA Astronomical Observatory Unit (UPT OAIL) and the Atmospheric and Planetary Science Study Program. However, these units and study programs do not yet have an information system that can store various space data and display them, especially for the public to see. This is the background for us to do community service for lecturers and students in the form of making the OAIL database system. The information system can be used to store space data to be studied and can be seen by the public. The form of the system is website-based so that people throughout Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra, can see various space phenomena. For three months, the information system was successfully created and can be implemented by UPT OAIL, so that this community service activity went according to plan and well. It is hoped that the information system can always be developed and useful for the benefit of learning at ITERA and the community. Abstract

Sanjaya Farm bergerak pada bidang peternakan sapi potong. Mulia farm terletak di Jl. Pulau Singkep Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung yang berjarak ± 7.3 Km dari Institut Teknologi Sumatera. Sanjaya Farm memiliki 20-30 sapi potong. Kendala yang dimiliki adalah dengan rantai pasok kebutuhan pakan yang masih dirasa kurang optimal. Sejauh ini pakan ternak pada mitra masih menggunakan singkong dan cocopeat, Kebutuhan rata rata pakan konsentrat perhari adalah 60-120 kg/hari. Sehingga dalam program ini kami menawarkan untuk memanfaatkan limbah pelepah pisang terfermentasi sebagai alternatif pakan konsentrat ternak sapi. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan limbah pelepah pisang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pakan konsentrat ternak sapi menjadi sumber pakan bernutrisi tinggi, Kegiatan telah diaksanakan di lokasi mitra, pelaksanaan kegiatan minimal dua kali hingga pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan diikuti oleh 16 peserta pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan hasil dimana dari 5 pertanyaan. 14 orang sudah memahami limbah pelepah pisang terfermentasi sebagai alternatif pakan dan manfaat pakan konsentrat bagi kesehatan ternak. Hasil ini menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 75% dari hasil pretest.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran sangat penting, terutama untuk mengenalkan dunia industri pada pendidikan kejuruan. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mendemonstrasikan model ruang penyimpanan makanan berbasis programmable logic controller (PLC) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMK tentang aplikasi instrumentasi dan automasi di industri. PLC, sebagai perangkat kontrol utama dalam model, dapat mengontrol pintu dan kelembapan ruang penyimpanan. Komponen lain dalam model ini meliputi catu daya, sensor kelembapan, pemanas, kipas, dan pintu. Proyek dilaksanakan dengan penyampaian materi melalui presentasi, praktek pemrograman, dan mengoperasikan PLC secara berkelompok. Peserta diajarkan cara memprogram PLC berbasis diagram tangga menggunakan perangkat lunak Zelio Soft 2. Pemahaman peserta, siswa SMK N 2 Bandar Lampung diukur untuk mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian proyek. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta tentang aplikasi instrumentasi dan automasi di industri meningkat rata-rata 64% dari sebelum pelatihan dilaksanakan. Learning media is very important, mainly to introduce the industrial world in vocational education. The project purposed to design and demonstrate a programmable logic controller (PLC) based food storage room model to increase the comprehension of SMK students about instrumentation and automation applications in industry. PLC, as the main control device in the model, can control the door and the humidity of the storage room. Other components in the model include the power supply, humidity sensor, heater, fan, and door. The project was carried out by delivering material through presentations, practising programming, and operating PLC in groups. Participants were taught how to program a ladder diagram-based PLC using Zelio Soft 2 software. The comprehension of the participants, students of SMK N 2 Bandar Lampung, was measured to determine the level of project achievement. The results revealed that the comprehension of participants about instrumentation and automation applications in the industry increased by an average of 64% from before the training was carried out.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan inovatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan mengurangi sikap pasif siswa. Selain dapat membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan tugas-tugasnya, robot dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pengajar sehingga dapat secara mandiri membuat robot sederhana sebagai media pembelajaran serta mengajarkannya ke peserta didik. Pelatihan robotik sederhana dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi dan simulasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi hasil pelatihan yang diberikan di setiap akhir pertemuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tenaga pengajar mengenai robot dan perakitannya meningkat.

Abstract

The interface of the automatic answer assessment system is plagued by several issues, including an unfamiliar layout, unresponsive design, inconsistency in elements, and a lack of clarity in presenting information. These problems significantly hinder the overall user experience. As a result, this study aimed to address these challenges by designing a user-centered experience for the automatic answer assessment system, using a high-fidelity prototype tailored to meet user needs. The user-centered design method involved four crucial stages: Specify The Context Of Use, Specify Requirements, Create Designs, and Evaluate Designs. Through rigorous usability testing with teachers, the design achieved an impressive effectiveness rating of 90%, firmly establishing it as a "very effective" solution. Additionally, it demonstrated high efficiency with a value of 0.01307 goals/sec, and teachers expressed positive feedback, confirming the satisfaction and usability of the new interface. Similarly, students' usability testing yielded noteworthy results, with a 90% effectiveness rating, also classified as "very effective." The interface showcased a high level of efficiency, with a value of 0.0849 goals/sec. While the satisfaction value fell below the PSSUQ norm, students still found the interface to be user-friendly and satisfactory. Furthermore, the user experience testing, utilizing the UEQ-S, provided valuable insights. For teachers, the pragmatic aspect scored 1.85, the hedonic aspect scored 2.33, and the overall aspect received a commendable score of 2.09, all of which fell within the excellent category on benchmarks. Similarly, students' ratings were highly positive, with scores of 2.14 for both pragmatic and hedonic aspects, and an overall score of 2.14, signifying an excellent user experience.The retrospective think-aloud validation test reaffirmed the positive response from prospective users. Overall, this research, employing a user-centered design approach, successfully delivered a highly satisfactory and effective user experience for both teachers and students using the automatic answer assessment system.

Abstract

In the current industrial era 4.0, of course you are no stranger to things related to information technology. Web technology is currently widely used, especially to facilitate the work of an agency or company. PT. Queen Network Nusantara requires a system that can be integrated and monitors all company resources. The system that can meet the needs of this company is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. PT. Queen Network Nusantara requires an ERP system that can manage employee data. Building an HRD ERP system website that is used to manage employee data. System development uses the Extreme Programming method with an overview of the QNN HRD ERP system and web-based QNN HRD ERP attendance with one of its features is monitoring employee attendance and employee attendance online. Testing the QNN HRD ERP system was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with a score of 76 and can be classified as Acceptable and functional testing using the Black Box Testing method with the result that the system is running well. The developed system is expected to be able to automate many HR processes and make employee management more efficient and help organizations track employee performance.

Abstract

This community service aims to introduce and apply fish farming technology in buckets (BUDIKDAMBER) based on the Internet of Things (IoT) as a learning medium for basic instrumentation control systems. By utilizing IoT technology, this training not only increases efficiency in fish farming, but also provides teachers with a better understanding of basic instrumentation control systems. The results of the analysis have shown that there has been a 24% increase in participants' knowledge in the field of Budikdamber, from 63% to 87%. The aim of implementing this technology certainly indicates an increase in teachers' insight regarding the application of Fish Cultivation technology in buckets based on the internet of things, from those who initially did not understand to understand well

Abstract

Koperasi memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Argo Mulyo Lestari, salah satu koperasi yang mengelola dan menyediakan bibit pohon dan buah-buahan serta melakukan pendistribusian keseluruh wilayah Indonesia. Hasil observasi dengan cara wawancara mendapatkan data tentang proses bisnis yang dilakukan koperasi masih tergolong kuno, dengan cara mencatat pada buku, menyimpan pada excel. Proses bisnis yang tidak diimbangi dengan Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mengakibatka, terjadi duplikasi data dan akses terbatas bagi seluruh anggota koperasi. Tim pengusul membuat usulan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan cara Teknologi Tepat Guna Digitalisasi Administrasi Koperasi Argo Mulyo Lestari. Tujuan dari digitalisasi, mempermudah, meningkatkan, dan keterbukaan data dalam melaksanakan proses bisnis. Digitalisasi mencangkup proses bisnis administrasi umum, simpan pinjam, keuangan dan pelaporan keuntungan serta kerugian. Teknologi tepat guna akan dievaluasi dengan menggunakan usability test. Hasil dari pengambdian, koperasi Argo Mulyo Lestari sudah menerapkan digitalisasi teknologi yang transparan, dan bertanggung jawab. Digitalisasi administrasi merupakan langkah yang tepat dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin canggih.
