Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is improving the ability to uses capital letters and punctuation in writing simple essays by applying think talk write model. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of the 3th students at SD Negeri Pajang II Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year, totalling 27 students. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, tests, and analysis document with data analysis of source triangulation and technique triangulation. The analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 66.66% in classical, and the study continued with the second cycle with the percentage of 88.89% in classical terms. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the ability to use capital letters and punctuation in writing simple essays on 3th students of SD Negeri Pajang II Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year can be improved through the Think Talk Write model.Keywords: capital letter, punctuation, simple essays, Think Talk Write model

Abstract

The aim of this research was to increase the environmental attitude in science subject through implementation the used of Problem Based Learning in fourth grades of state primary school Musuk 1 Boyolali at 2018/2019 academic year. The research focus are teacher and student, totally 30 students. The kind of this research is a classroom action research was conducted in three cycles. The data was collected using techniques of debriefing, observation, questionnaire, also documentation. Data’s been validated with triangulation. Data analysis used in this study was technical analysis of Miles and Hubberman’s interactive analysis. The research showed an increased in environmental attitude. In pre-cycle, resulting in a percentage of 20% reaches the passing grade. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 33% reaches the passing grade in classical terms, the second cycle resulting a percentage of 60% reaches the passing grade and the third cycle resulting in a percentage of 83% reaches the passing grade in classical terms. Based on these result, it could be concluded that the used of Problem Based Learning models increased environmental in fourth grades of state primary school Musuk 1 Boyolali at 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is improving the ability to solve water cycle problems  by applying problem based learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of the 5th students at SD Negeri Munggung I Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year, totalling 19 students. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, field notes, tests, and documentation with data analysis of content validity and triangulation. The analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 52.63% in classical, and the study continued with the second cycle with the percentage of 84.21% in classical terms. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the ability to solve water cycle problems on 5th students of SD Negeri Munggung I Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year can be improved through the Problem Based Learning model.
