Abstract

Interaction of Three Fertilizer Factors on the Growth and Yield of Garlic (Allium sativum L.). Garlic is one of the potential commodities to be developed. One of the efforts to increase garlic production is to provide the nutrients needed. The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction between SP-18 fertilizer, ZA fertilizer and biofertilizer in increasing garlic growth and yield. The research method used is an experimental method with a Random Design Group of factorial patterns 3 x 2 x 3 repeated 2 times. Factor 1 is the dose of SP-18 (P) fertilizer which consists of 3 levels with doses: p1 (50 kg / ha), p2 (100 kg / ha), and p3 (150 kg / ha). Factor 2 is the dose of ZA (A) which consists of 2 levels with doses: a1 (225kg/ha) and a2 (300kg/ha). Factor 3 is the dose of biological fertilizer (H) which consists of 3 levels with doses: h0 (control), h1 (5 kg / ha), and h2 (10 kg / ha). The conclusion of this study is that there is an interaction between SP-18 fertilizer, ZA fertilizer and biofertilizer on garlic growth and yield. The best treatment combination is SP-18 150 kg/ha, ZA fertilizer 225 kg/ha and biofertilizer 10 kg/ha. Application of SP-18 fertilizer and ZA fertilizer can increase soil microbial activity characterized by increased garlic growth and yield.

Abstract

Kentang merupakan tanaman pangan yang strategis dengan mendukung ketahanan pangan bagi perekonomian di Indonesia. Tanaman kentang cenderung hanya mampu beradaptasi dengan baik pada daerah dataran tinggi, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengembangan teknologi budidayanya, agar produksi tanaman kentang dapat dilakukan produksi dengan baik pada daerah dataran tinggi, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik dan ukuran bibit pada pertumbuhan tanaman kentang di dataran sedang. Penelitian ini mengunakan rencana split plot, faktor petak utama adalah pupuk organik dan faktor ke dua adalah anak petak yaitu ukuran bibit. Dalam percobaan faktorial 4x3, dengan dua faktor perlakuan, diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor yang di uji adalah faktor pertama : pupuk organik (o0) kontrol, (o1) pupuk kompos, gulma (o2) pupuk kompos kotoran domba dan petroganik, (o3) pupuk kompos kotoran domba. Faktor anak petak yaitu: (b1) S:10-30g, (b2) M:30-60 dan (b3) L: 60-90. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk oraganik dan ukuran bibit tidak terjadi interaksi terdap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, nisbah pupus akar, jumlah umbi pertanaman, jumlah umbi per petak, bobot umbi per tanamna dan bobot umbi perplot. Namun mempunyai pengaruh mandiri pada jumlah daun, jumlah umbi per tanaman, jumlah umbi per petak dan nisbah pupus akar. jumlah umbi per petak, bobot umbi per tanamna dan bobot umbi per petak. Abstract

Tomatoes are a horticultural commodity that is widely cultivated, especially in Bandung Regency. Tomato plants are widely cultivated because they have a fairly high economic value and are in demand by the community because of their many health benefits, among them are vitamin and antioxidant content. Currently, tomato production is declining, so education and assistance are needed to increase the potential for results. The target of this activity is tomato farmers in four sub-districts in Bandung Regency. The purpose of this activity is to increase farmers' knowledge in cultivating hybrid tomatoes at various altitudes. The activity started with counseling, field practice, and evaluation of the results of the activity. As a result of this activity, farmers have additional knowledge in appropriate technology for tomato plants in their respective locations. After the evaluation process, tomato production increased significantly, both in terms of quantity and quality, so it had a positive impact on the economic welfare of farmers.
