Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh multimedia visualisasi terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan generik sains siswa SMK pada konsep hidrokarbon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII salah satu SMK Negeri di kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2010/2011, yang terdiri atas satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 33 orang, sedangkan kelompok kontrolnya berjumlah 31 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, digunakan instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda, angket dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia visualisasi dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsepdan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Rata-rata nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen (55,40%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (43,39%). Peningkatan penguasaan konsep tertinggi terjadi pada konsep minyak bumi dan terendah pada konsep isomer. Peningkatan keterampilan generik sains tertinggi terjadi pada indikatorpengamatan tak langsung, sedangkan yang terendah pada indikator kerangka logika taat azas.Multimedia visualisasi juga mendapat tanggapan yang positif dari guru dan siswa.Kata kunci: multimedia visualisasi, hidrokarbon, penguasaan konsep, keterampilan generik sains, siswa SMK

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menurut kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Guru SMK harus mampu mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan aspek keterampilan kerja. Salah satu masalah paling kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah keengganan dan kreativitas guru yang kurang untuk menemukan cara agar pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa tentang suatu materi yang telah diajarkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru harus memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Penugasan dapat dilakukan dengan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam desain deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga guru Bahasa Inggris SMK di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek perlu dilakukan oleh guru di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu model dalam proses belajar mengajar karena berfokus pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Persepsi Guru, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. AbstractProject-based learning is one of the recommended learning models to be used in learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in Vocational High Schools has different characteristics from the implementation of learning in Senior High Schools. Vocational high school teachers must be able to develop learning models that can produce aspects of work skills. One of the most critical problems in teaching and learning English at Vocational High School is teachers’ unwillingness and less creativity to find ways to make learning more creative and fun. To find out to what extent students understand the material that has been taught in the teaching and learning process, the teachers must give assignments to the students. The assignments can be done with the model Project-Based Learning. The aim of this study was to investigate how teachers’ perceptions about project-based learning. This research was conducted in descriptive qualitative design which involved three vocational high school English teachers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province as respondents. This research used the semi-structured interview as an instrument to collect the data. The result of the analysis showed that teachers have a positive perception of project-based learning. The conclusion can be drawn that project-based learning was needed to do by the teachers in the EFL classroom as one of the models in the teaching and learning process because its focus on student-centered.Keywords: Project-Based Learning, Teachers’ Perception, and Vocational High School.

Quasi Experiment design with pretestposttest non-equivalent control group design was used in this reseach. The research was conducted in one of vocational school in Bandung, West Java in the academic year 2010/2011.The experimental group was a class XII (33 students), while the control class was a class XII (31 students). Sampling was conducted by random cluster sampling technique. To obtain the necessary data, instrument used were multiple choice test, questionnaire, and interview protocol. Based on the result, revealed that the visualization multimedia enhanced students' concepts understanding and critical thinking skills. The average score of the experimental class N-Gain (55.40%) is higher than the control class (43.39%).Concepts understanding of students obtained the highest in the oil concept, and the lowest was isomers. The highest mastery of students’ science generic skills is indirect observation, while the lowest is logic framework of compliance with guiding principles indicator. In addition, based on the responses of students as well as teachers show that visualization multimedia is positively responded by students and makes students enthusiastic in studying of hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Background: This classroom action research was motivated by the low digital literacy skills of students due to the lack of effective and quality literacy resources in schools. The aim of this research is an effort to increase students' digital literacy through the use of flipbook-based Biodiversity e-modules. Methods: This research applies the collaborative PTK method based on lesson study. This research was carried out in class X8 of SMA Negeri 9 Bogor City with 36 students. The instruments used were a digital literacy questionnaire and student response questionnaire, as well as a teacher interview format. Results: The average score obtained in Cycle I was 72.45 which increased to 81.67 in Cycle II, with the percentage of students' digital literacy skills in Cycle II being 83% of the total number of students with Very Good criteria. The average emergence of digital literacy skills in each indicator in Cycle I was in the good criteria (60 - 80) and in Cycle II there was an increase with the average showing very good criteria (81 - 100). The results of the student response questionnaire obtained scores ranging from 81 - 100 in the very good category which is in line with the positive response from teachers regarding the use of the flipbook-based Biodiversity e-module.. Conclusion: The results of all the instruments used show that there is an increase in students' digital literacy skills through the use of flipbook-based Biodiversity e-modules. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi penyajian data. Pendekatan metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen quasi dengan dua group di Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Cileungsi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas lima yang terdiri dari 52 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model problem-based learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi penyajian data. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai N-Gain pada kelompok kelas eksperimen sebesar 80, sedangkan untuk kelompok kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 63. Ketuntasan hasil belajar yang diperoleh kelompok kelas eskperimen sebesar 92,5 persen sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 84 persen. Serta hasil pengujian hipotesis bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, karena thitung (3,82624) lebih besar dari t-tabel (2,00856). Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian memiliki pengaruh yang lebih baik dan signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran bagaimana cognitive load siswa SMP dalam materi sistem ekskresi pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pasca pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Bogor Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Cognitive load diukur berdasarkan tiga komponen yaitu usaha mental untuk menggambarkan extraneous cognitive load (ECL), kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi yang menggambarkan intrinsic cognitive load (ICL), serta kemampuan penalaran sebagai hasil belajar untuk menggambarkan germane cognitive load (GCL). Usaha mental diukur dengan angket subjective rating scale menggunakan Skala Likert, kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi diukur melalui soal sistem ekskresi berdasarkan komponen information processing, dan hasil belajar diukur melalui soal penalaran berdasarkan dimensi penalaran. Hubungan antara ketiga komponen cognitive load dianalisis melalui uji korelasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara usaha mental dengan kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi (UM-MMI) serta korelasi antara usaha mental dengan hasil belajar (UM-HB) menunjukkan nilai negatif dan tidak signifikan. Besarnya nilai korelasi antara kemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi dengan hasil belajar (MMI-HB) menunjukkan nilai positif dan tidak signifikan. Berdasarkan korelasi antara ketiga komponen tersebut maka cognitive load peserta didik pada materi sistem ekskresi masih berada pada kategori yang tinggi karena korelasi pada setiap komponennya tidak memiliki korelasi yang kuat atau signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of environmental literacy of students after using e-modules based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) on students' environmental pollution material through a survey method. The sample of this study was 26 students of MTs Yasti 1 Sukabumi. Data collection techniques were carried out using environmental literacy instruments adapted from Middle Schools Environmental Literacy Survey/Instrument (MSELS/I) questions made by NELA with modifications according to the context of environmental pollution. Data acquisition was transformed and interpreted using the NELA transformation method.The results showed that the SSI-based environmental literacy e-module was feasible to use in terms of feasibility (content, presentation and language), in terms of suitability for SSI and in terms of media with a percentage of 88%, 84% and 89% respectively. The CVI results related to the feasibility of the e-module are 0.995 (Valid). Learning using the SSI-based environmental pollution e-module can improve students' environmental literacy in the moderate category with an average N-Gain score of environmental literacy of 0.58. Student response to the SSI-based environmental pollution e-module is very good with an average percentage score of 91%. This research concludes that there is an increase in students' environmental literacy after using Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) based e-modules.

Abstract

Research on the importance of energy literacy has increased, this can be seen from the many articles that have been studied on this theme. Increased attention to the importance of energy literacy is related to the influence of the quality of energy literacy of citizens of a country which directly impacts the good or bad quality of the environment due to climate change. This study aims to evaluate the most relevant themes related to Energy Literacy based on bibliometric analysis, with input using the keywords "Energy Literacy" or "Green Energy Literacy". The data used is based on the Google Scholar database using the Pop (Publish or Perish) search engine software, this data is then stored in a Research Information System (RIS) format for further analysis. The data in RIS format was then analyzed using VOSviewer software to visualize networks consisting of authors, year of publication, publisher's journal name, and citations. Analysis conducted in October 2021 found a total of 100 documents in the 2016-2021 period. The results showed that in the last five years there were four publishers that published the most articles on the topic Green energy Literacy, namely elsevier with a total of 20 articles followed by Taylor & Francis, iopscience and Springer. Keyword analysis shows that the study of Green Energy Literacy is closely related to the themes of student, study, school, knowledge, behavior, attitude, awareness, and effect. Overall the data from this bibliometric analysis makes it possible to answer the question of what are the research trends in the field of Green energy Literacy in the last 5 years.

Abstract

Evaluation of wordwall-based learning on plant body parts material in elementary schools for class iv students at kartika xi-8 cibinong private elementary school. this research method uses the research and development (r&d) method with the addie (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) development model. this research involved 28 students and in the process of validation and trial evaluation of the learning that had been developed. validation was carried out by three experts, namely media experts, linguists and material experts, with media expert validation results of 96%, linguist validation results of 100%, and material expert validation results of 96%, with an average result of 97.3% which is included in the "very eligible" criteria. the trial results showed an average score of 91.4% of the students. from these results, it can be concluded that the learning evaluation developed is very effective and practical for use in measuring students understanding of the plant body parts material.

Abstract

STEM based project learning also capable triggering student to express another higher order thinking skill, such as inquiry by posing question. Generating questions, making comparisons, dealing with contradictions, and scientific inquiry skills are an example of cognitive activities that are classified as higher-order thinking skills. Those skills are including in 21st century skills that needed by the students to face the workspaces demanding in this revolution industry 4.0 and future. The purposes of this research is to investigate students question quality through STEM based project learning in science activity. The method that is used in this research is descriptive. The subject in this research are the students of preservice teacher biology and science education for about 21 students. The research needs an analysis of students generated question quality when they are in basic physics laboratory activity. This laboratory activity used STEM based project learning approach with reading assignment in the early meeting before each laboratory activity. The technique to take the data that is used in this research are video recording, observation, and informal interview. The research instrument to take the data that is used are observation sheet for students generated question quality. The result of this research is from the science laboratory activity, students generated question quality that has the most are understanding and relationship which is in the beginning of open question quality and information category gained lower than both of category. It means that, students promoting the improvement of their question quality. It also proved that evaluating, finding and solution category has expressed by the students in both of laboratory activities. It can be concluded that that the quality of students generated question has slightly improved to open question quality through STEM based project learning in science activity
