Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kecakapan berpikir siswa kelas XI pada konsep sistem pencernaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 7 sebagai kelas eksperimen di SMAN 1 Cimahi yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen mendapat perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah sementara kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes penguasaan konsep yang terdiri dari 25 soal meliputi jenjang C1 sampai C4, tes kecakapan berpikir yang terdiri dari 7 Soal, dan angket untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi posttest penguasaan konsep 0,301 dan nilai signifikansi posttest kecakapan bepikir sebesar 0,221. Sementara hasil uji beda rata-rata posttest indikator kecakapan berpikir siswa secara berturut-turut adalah, 0,657; 0,662; 0,117; dan 0,376. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan penguasaan konsep dan kecakapan berpikir yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Kata kunci : PBM, Penguasaan Konsep, Kecakapan Berpikir

Abstract

Tree architectural model is basically a tree construction as a result of meristematic growth pattern. Tree architectureis closely associated with water and soil components, i.e. rainfall, throughfall, stem flow, infiltration, surface run-off,and erosion. For Altingia excelsa (Rasamala) plots, the results showed that the daily average of the rainfall intensityobserved was 9.67 mm, stem flow 0.03 mm, canopy throughfall 5.43 mm, infiltration 0.51 ml/mm2/second,surface run-off 3.45 mm, and erosion 5.66 kg/m2. For Schima wallichii (Puspa), the daily average of rainfall was9.67 mm, stem flow 0.04 mm, canopy throughfall 4.02 mm, infiltration 0.49 ml/mm2/second, surface run-off 8.18mm, and erosion 12.71 kg/m2. Compared to A. excelsa, S. wallichii significantly had larger values in someparameters measured, i.e. stem flow, surface run-off, and erosion, indicating that on land sopes of 70% of theMount Gede Pangrango National Park, individual plants of S. wallichii seemed to be well adapted. However,individuals of A. excelsa possessed a more spreadly branching model, larger vertical width, denser canopy, andskewed bark channels capable for slowing down the stem flow and canopy throughfall. Consequently plants of A.excelsa would generally be able to hold and conserve water and soil better than S. wallichii plants.Keywords: Tree architectural model, stem flow, throughfall, surface run-off, infiltration, erosion

Abstract

The structure quality of student worksheet will determine the actualization of learning objectives required by curriculum. Besides that, as an effort to support the science development to be more quantitative, biology student worksheets should have the quantitative literacy indicators, such as interpretation, representation, calculation, application/ analysis,  assumption, and communication. This research is aimed to explain the structure quality and the existence of quantitative literacy in biology student worksheets for senior high school. The research method is quantitative descriptive. The subject of this research is 40 student worksheets in biology book for class 11 published by A, B, and C publisher. The result shows that the student worksheets from A has the best structure quality according to Vee Diagram. The percentage of structure quality of student worksheet in A book is  55,5%, followed by B (53,2%) and C (29,9%). The existence of quantitative literacy that can be identified from the books are interpretation, calculation, application/analysis, and communication. All of the interpretation and calculation indicator found in record/transformation component, while all of the application/analysis indicator found in knowledge claim component. Communication indicator found in two components, record/ transformation (50%) and knowledge claim (50%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis yang digunakan untuk pokok uji tes menguji keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah pada pokok bahasan Biologi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah enam sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) berkategori negeri dan swasta berdasarkan nilai Ujian Negara (UN). Untuk mengungkap penggunaan tes mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah, digunakan metode penelitian statistik deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Pada perangkat soal Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) dan Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) pada mata pelajaran IPA pokok bahasan Biologi yang dianalisis tentang keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah. Penelitian ini mengembangkan framework PISA yang terintegrasi dengan kurikulum 2013 untuk menyusun test blueprint dan soal paralel. Soal paralel dikembangkan dengan konteks penyelidikan Biologi pada ekosistem (lingkungan), laboratorium IPA, dan kesehatan pada mata pelajaran IPA pokok bahasan Biologi di SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosentase soal PTS dan PAS yang digunakan di sekolah yang diteliti belum berbasis keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah hanya memiliki sebagian kecil (1,87%). Melalui penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa pokok uji tes di sekolah masih berfokus pada hapalan atau ingatan, pemahaman dasar, tidak berbasis penyelidikan ilmiah. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan rekomendasi test blueprint dan tiga perangkat soal paralel untuk mengukur keterampilan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah. Soal yang direkomendasikan memiliki karakteristik ada data, terangkat dari penyelidikan ilmiah dan konteks kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the development of TPF and Equity Capital at PT Bank BRI Syariah for the 2016-2020 period fluctuated. TPF in 2016 in the third quarter and fourth quarter experienced an increase but FDR decreased as well as fluctuations in TPF during 2018 and 2020 which did not match the theory, where the higher the DPK collected, the greater the distribution of financing so that the FDR value would increase and vice versa. This study aims to determine the effect of TPF on FDR, the effect of Equity Capital on FDR, the effect of TPF and Equity Capital simultaneously on FDR at PT Bank BRI Syariah. This study uses associative quantitative research, with the object of this research being Third Party Funds, Own Capital and Financing to Deposit Ratio at PT Bank BRI Syariah. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial ratios published by PT. Bank BRI Syariah starting from the period 2016 to 2020. The population in this study is the financial statements of PT Bank BRI Syariah. The sample used is the quarterly published financial statements of BRI Syariah Bank for the period 2016 to 2020. The data analysis used is multiple correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, t-test and F-test. Own capital has a positive and significant effect on FDR. TPF and own capital simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on FDR at PT Bank BRI Syariah.

Abstract

Studi tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran genetika mikroba berbantuan komputer dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa. Pengembangan media dilakukan dengan desain R and D meliputi tahap studi pendahuluan, perancangan, pengembangan, dan validasi media. Hasil studi lapangan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan media untuk membantu menjelaskan topik tersebut. Tahap perancangan dan pengembangan media dilakukan dengan membangun software multimedia menggunakan program Flash yang dapat digunakan secara individu maupun berkelompok. Tahap validasi media menggunakan The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, penyebaran angket, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa secara signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how efforts can be made by educators or teachers in building critical thinking in learning in the current digital era and find out how important critical thinking is for every individual, especially in today's era in responding to the challenges of the industrial revolution. This research is a type of qualitative research using library research methods. Participation in this research was carried out by 9 students accompanied by 1 lecturer from the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. The results of our research sourced from articles and journals show that it is important to develop every individual who lives in the digital era to think critically. The role of teachers or educators in building critical thinking is very dominant. This is something that every educator should pay attention to in bringing up new innovations in the learning process to stimulate students in forming a critical mindset. Moreover, critical thinking is one of the abilities included in 21st century competencies that must always be built to face the challenges of the industrial revolution. , where the flow of information can come from anywhere, then the need for critical thinking skills is very useful for selecting relevant sources of information.

Abstract

In understanding the characteristics of each student, it is actually heterogeneous. In this case it can be seen that not all students can participate in learning activities easily. Identification of the character of students actually requires a juridical basis and a theory. the researcher provides an understanding with the aim of identifying the character of students in class 1 at SD Negeri 15 Tangerang through techniques adapted to educators. In this study using qualitative methods and support from data collection through observation, interviews and also documentation to support the data from this study. The results of the study show that in fact the characteristics identification technique for students actually requires conformity developed by educators to be able to provide more attractiveness and adaptation to children. These techniques include self-mastery techniques, class mastery, material mastery, approaches to students and also language delivery events or even the way teachers dress. This is actually an important element in identifying the character of students.

Abstract

This study attempts to discover whether primary school students who are learning mathematics can solve issues involving distance, time, and speed and comprehend the solution, also whether there are any difficulties they encounter. Quantitative Descriptive research is this kind of study. This study aims to test students' knowledge of speed, distance, and time. It also conducts an interview with the instructor. Analyzing, interviews, tests, and documentation are among the ways used to acquire data. As for the descriptive methodology used in this study. The results of the student workmanship test were used to gather information about the challenges students encountered when solving math problems involving distance, time, and speed. The test's difficulty was a sign of students' lack of comprehension of the concepts of distance, time, and speed. Regarding the requirements for teacher interviews. The goal of interviewing teachers is to understand more about mathematics learning activities including distance, time, and speed as well as common errors made by pupils while attempting to solve problems using these concepts. According to the study's findings, arithmetic proficiency in the areas of time, distance, and speed in grade 5 SD is 80.06% in average, placing it in the "Very High" category. This problem arises dute to the basic mathematical abilities in the areas of distance, time, and speed have not yet been attained. Factors that lead to mistakes when working on test questions, internal factors, and external variables are some of the elements that make it difficult to master mathematics in the subject of distance, time, and speed. The requirement for specialised instruction as enrichment and healing (remedial), employing inventive and creative teaching methods, and developing conditioning (reinforcement, rewards, encouragement), exercises, are all recommendations for resolving the issue of learning challenges in distance, time, and speed.
