Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of West Sumatera’s traditional food product attributes towards teenager’s buying interest in urban cities in West Sumatera. The population of this study are all teenagers in urban cities in West Sumatra who have ever consumed West Sumatera’s traditional food. The sample size was set by 450 respondents by using R.L Gay term, but after verification, eventually the number of samples that can be collected was only 417 students. The data was analysed with linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was performed at α = 0.05. The result indicate that The product attributes of West Sumatera’s traditional food has significant influence towards teenagers buying interest in urban cities of ​​West Sumatera.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine (a) the relationship between customer satisfaction to customer loyalty of Garuda Indonesia based on five dimensions of service quality, (b) the relationship between brand image to customer loyalty of Garuda Indonesia. This research is a causative research with 156 respondents of Garuda Indonesia Airways customer in West Sumatera. By using multiple regression analysis, this study found (1) customer satisfaction on the physical evidence has no significant impact on customer loyalty, (2) customer satisfaction on reliability has significant impact on customer loyalty (3) customer satisfaction on responsiveness  has no significant impact on customer loyalty (4) customer satisfaction on assurance has significant impact on customer loyalty, (5) customer satisfaction on empathy has no significant impact on customer loyalty, and (6) customer loyalty is influenced by brand image significantly. Garuda Indonesia Airways must be focused on the strategy how to maintain customer satisfaction on reliability, assurance and brand image. However, Garuda also take a look for  physical evidence, responsiveness and empathy.

Abstract

Program Pengembangan Nagari Binaan (PPNB) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Perkampungan Adat Sijunjung Kenagarian Sijunjung Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung Sumatera barat sebagai pusat destinasi wisata budaya Minangkabau di Sumatera Barat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan revitalisasi dalam bidang budaya dan ekonomi. Pada tahun pertama kegiatan difokuskan pada peningkatan nilai ekonomi Rumah Gadang sebagai homestay dan pengembangan wirausaha rumahan (home industri). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Pelatihan dengan teknik demonstrasi dan kelompok. Penyuluhan dengan teknik door to door, dan pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa peningkatan nilai guna homestay sebagai sumber ekonomi, melalui peningkatan service quality homestay, tumbuhnya 15 industri rumahan (tungku homestay) berkearifan lokal di setiap homestay binaan, serta menambah fungsi homestay sebagai resto original bagi pengunjung yang datang dan menginap sehingga meningkatkan income generating pemilik homestay. Dalam bidang budaya, kegiatan ini telah membangkitkan kembali dan menumbuhkan minat generasi muda untuk menghargai nilai-nilai seni budaya Minangkabau yang mereka wujudkan dalam bentuk aktifnya kembali sanggar seni budaya sebagai unsur pendukung wisata budaya dan usaha sablon yang menampilkan hasil seni budaya Perkampungan Adat Sijunjung sebagai representasi budaya Minangkabau di Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the project based learning strategy as an effort to foster students’ entrepreneurial interest in entrepreneurship learning at SMAN 3 Batam. The data collections method uses non-participant observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit of students, was carried out in the form of cheerful Saturday Activities, direct selling, and involving students in entrepreneurship compettions. The goal is to stimulate students to be actively involved in these activities, so that they have an impact on students that is how important entrepreneurship is in life. In this activity, the school petrified the procurement of facilities and insfrastructure needed by students, so that the purpose of holding cheerful Saturday Activities, direct selling, and entrepreneurship competitions that were participated in could be achieved.

Abstract

This study is predicated upon the persistent environmental degradation perpetrated by communities inhabiting the periphery of Batang Gadis National Park (Indonesian: Taman Nasional Batang Gadis [TNBG]). The investigation was undertaken in five villages within the West Panyabungan District, which share a direct boundary with TNBG. The primary objective of this research is to elucidate the impact of da’wah messages and mass media dissemination on the environmental consciousness of the local populace residing near TNBG. Employing a quantitative methodology, the study utilized a structured questionnaire as its principal instrument. The research encompassed a population of 183 individuals, from which a sample of 65 respondents was drawn. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression techniques and processed through SPSS software. The findings reveal a significant simultaneous influence of da’wah messages and mass media dissemination on the environmental consciousness of the communities neighboring TNBG. However, when assessed individually, it was determined that da’wah messages have a discernible impact on environmental awareness, whereas mass media dissemination does not exhibit a statistically significant effect. To foster heightened environmental consciousness among the local populace, intensifying environmental preservation campaigns through da’wah activities in collaboration with religious leaders is recommended.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh komunikasi lingkungan dan ketersediaan sarana pengelolaan sampah terhadap perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang sampah di sekitar Sungai Batang Merao. Pencemaran sungai akibat pembuangan sampah secara sembarangan menjadi isu serius yang mempengaruhi kualitas lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari survei, wawancara, serta observasi lapangan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan sampah, keberadaan sarana pengelolaan, dan perilaku mereka dalam membuang sampah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi lingkungan yang efektif dan ketersediaan sarana pengelolaan sampah dengan perilaku masyarakat. Masyarakat yang mendapatkan informasi yang jelas dan tepat mengenai dampak pencemaran serta memiliki akses ke sarana pengelolaan yang memadai cenderung lebih bertanggung jawab dalam membuang sampah dengan baik. Sebaliknya, kurangnya informasi dan fasilitas yang tersedia menyebabkan masyarakat cenderung memilih untuk membuang sampah sembarangan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk mengurangi pencemaran di Sungai Batang Merao, perlu adanya integrasi antara program komunikasi lingkungan yang efektif dan peningkatan sarana pengelolaan sampah. Rekomendasi kebijakan diberikan kepada pemerintah dan pihak terkait untuk merumuskan strategi yang lebih baik dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah. Melalui sinergi antara edukasi dan penyediaan sarana, diharapkan kualitas lingkungan dapat semakin membaik, yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Nurse empowerment is an important strategy in facing the challenges of an increasingly complex and competitive health care system. This study aims to systematically review how entrepreneurial innovation and organizational change supported by transformational leadership can expand the role of nurses and enhance their strategic contribution to the health system. A literature search was conducted on the Scopus database for studies published in the last ten years, namely from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2024. Eight articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed thematically and narratively. The results of the review indicate that the integration of entrepreneurship into nursing practice encourages the formation of new service models such as independent practice, home care and telenursing that are more responsive to patient needs. Flexible organizational structures, collaborative work cultures and performance-based incentive systems strengthen the role of nurses as agents of change. Participatory leadership has been shown to create a work climate that supports innovation and initiative taking at the clinical level. Challenges such as limited infrastructure, training gaps, and cultural and structural barriers still need to be overcome to optimize nurse empowerment as a whole. This study concludes that empowering nurses through entrepreneurial innovation and organizational change requires a multidimensional approach and sustainable policy support so that nurses can play a strategic role in building a resilient health system that is oriented towards future needs.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi kebutuhan mendesak bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk bertahan dan berkembang di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM Kerajinan Anak Nagari Ceta Bacorak Kumanis melalui pelatihan teknik fotografi produk dan digital marketing. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan/workshop, latihan terbimbing, serta praktik langsung. Pelatihan fotografi dilakukan menggunakan smartphone dengan materi pencahayaan, komposisi visual, dan pengeditan sederhana, sedangkan pelatihan digital marketing mencakup optimasi toko online, konten promosi, SEO, dan iklan digital. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam menghasilkan konten visual dan memasarkan produk secara berani melalui platform seperti Tokopedia dan media sosial. Evaluasi melalui observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan partisipasi aktif, antusiasme tinggi, dan penerapan keterampilan secara langsung. Program ini terbukti efektif mendukung digitalisasi UMKM dan meningkatkan daya saing produk lokal di pasar digital.
