Abstract

The Ministry of Religion as a government institution is the main driving force in implementing government programs in the social and religious fields through carrying out the National Cash Waqf Movement (GNWU). Employees at the ranks of ministries consistently and measurably always carry out programs announced by the government in waqf. Salaries are deducted directly in the form of cash waqf or al-nuqud waqf. Waqf obligations are deducted in the form of money against individuals directly. This study uses primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires and conducting several in-depth interviews with respondents. The number of respondents was 285 people in the State Civil Apparatus of the Ministry of Religion of Padang City. The analysis tool used is SEM-PLS. The results of this study found that the variables of attitude, subjective norms and religiosity had a positive and significant effect on the behavior of civil servants at the Ministry of Religion of Padang City conducting cash waqf through salary deductions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of external shocks, namely world oil prices and global interest rates,on Indonesia’s macroeconomic variables, such as domestic output, inflation, and the real effective exchange rate. Additionally, it examines the effectiveness of Bank Indonesia’s monetary policy through the implementation of the domestic interest rate using the Structural Vector Autoregression method. The data used are monthly secondary time-series data, comprising external shock variables world oil prices and global interest rates and domestic variables output, price levels, interest rates, money supply, and real effective exchange rate spanning from January 2008 to December 2022. This research is motivated by the impact of WOP and FFR shocks during the global financial crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic. The Impulse Response Function results indicate that domestic output, price levels, and the real effective exchange rate respond negatively to WOP shocks and FFR reductions. Furthermore, domestic output and the real effective exchange rate exhibit a negative response to the domestic interest rate, while the price level generally responds positively. The Forecast Error Variance Decomposition results show that, in addition to the significant contributions of world oil price and global interest rate shocks, the variables output, price levels, interest rates, money supply, and real effective exchange rate also have substantial contributions to themselves and to changes in other macroeconomic variables.

Abstract

Women's participation in the workforce is crucial for driving economic growth. Empowering women economically is key to combating poverty by providing access to and control over resources needed to earn a sustainable and long-term livelihood. The data used in this research is sourced from the 2022 National Socioeconomic Survey published by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics. The research approach is quantitative, with data analysis employing binary logistic regression. The results of the study indicate that the factors suspected to influence the labor force participation of married women in Indonesia have a significant overall effect. The variable of household size has a significant negative effect, meaning it tends to reduce the probability of married women participating in the labor market. Conversely, the variables of education, age, status, Family Hope Program, region, credit ownership, and motorbike ownership have significant positive effects, meaning they tend to increase the probability of married women participating in the labor market.
