The purpose of research include studying the characteristics of social capital in the communities especially poor fishermen fishing in the coastal areas, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, studying characteristic of social networks and institutional owned by poor households, which is the primary vehicle for empowerment, and to analyze the contribution and role of social capital to welfare of fishermen households in Kecamatan Koto IV Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, and to formulate and create a model for institutional development for the empowerment of poor fishermen.The regression results obtained influence SC (social capital) on the level of social welfare is positive, the higher the social capital of the area, the higher the welfare seaboard district. Kec. Koto XI Tarusan. So also with the HC (human capital) suggests that increased education will improve the welfare of the community. Effect of land will provide opportunities to increase the welfare of society. Variable Z (number of household members) suggests that the increase in the number of family members will reduce the level of social welfare.

Abstract : The condition of the people of Indonesia have not much understand about the products with halal labeling. Most of the people be not noticed in consuming food products. People are much more attention to the expiration date than halal label. This study aims to analyze how perceptions of the benefits of Halal products, knowledge of the composition, the MUI fatwa, income, education, occupation, age, price and location to the use of products labeled as halal by the community. The data used in this study are primary data. Variable perception of the benefits of Halal products, knowledge of the composition, education and employment is valid. The results of the analysis of the data showed that knowledge in the composition of the products significantly affect the Muslim community in the use of products labeled as halal. meanwhile, the perception of the product, the MUI fatwa, income, education, occupation, age, price and location, does not affect the Muslim community in the use of products labeled as halal. Keywords: halal labeling, perception, MUI fatwa Abstrak : Kondisi masyarakat Indonesia masih awam tentang produk dengan labelisasi halal. Sebagian besar masyarakat bersikap masa bodoh dalam mengkonsumsi produk pangan. Masyarakat lebih memperhatikan tanggal kadaluarsa dari pada label halal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana persepsi dalam manfaat produk berlabel halal, pengetahuan dalam komposisi, fatwa MUI, pendapatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, umur, harga dan lokasi terhadap penggunaan produk berlabel halal oleh masyarakat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Variable persepsi dalam manfaat produk berlabel halal, pengetahuan dalam komposisi, pendidikan dan pekerjaan dinyatakan valid. Hasil dari analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa pengetahuan dalam komposisi pada produk berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap masyarakat muslim dalam menggunakan produk berlabel halal. Sedangkan persepsi terhadap produk, fatwa MUI, pendapatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, umur, harga dan lokasi tidak mempengaruhi masyarakat muslim dalam menggunakan produk berlabel halal. Kata Kunci : labelisasi halal, persepsi, fatwa MUI

This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of social capital, institutional and empowerment of the poor through the development of local institutions in an effort to alleviate poverty and at the same time in order to boost agricultural productivity in Kecamatan Rambatan Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This research was a survey conducted in District Rambatan of Tanah Datar done purposively taken as the District with a level percentage of poor households are highest in Tanah Datar district, the general livelihood is farming. Based on the survey results obtained institutional characteristics and participation shows the outcome is not good. While the variable culture and customs and trust variable results obtained good decision. These results shows of social capital in the district of institutional and community participation are not good role in society, especially the District Nagari Simawang and Nagari Koto III. But overall social capital indicators and characteristics in the Kecamatan Rambatan has shown moderate or quite good.

This research aimed to analyze the role of Islamic finance gained SMEs, institutional characteristics of the business and the characteristics of entrepreneurs to the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the city of Padang. The study design used descriptive approach qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Data were analyzed using analysis Crosstabulation and Chi-Square, a descriptive analysis technique.Crosstabulation based analysis and Chi-Square test, there is a significant relationship between the amount of financing, education, length of business, business development training, and the legality of the increase in revenue SMEs. While there was no significant relationship between the type of business and the ownership of the financial statements with a revenue increase of SMEs. SME revenue improvement opportunities are greatest in terms of the amount of financing. Of the 82% who obtain financing on Rp.5.000.000, 61% of SMEs could increase his income. The second biggest opportunities is occupied by SMEs that have financial statements, as many as 58% of the 84 respondents who had had financial reports may increase their income.Keyword : islamic finance, institutioal charateristics
