Abstract

This study aims to determine effects of occupational health and safety culture on employees’ performance. To obtain these objectives, questionnaire was distributed to 51 Warehouse Department employees at Agility International Ltd., Semarang Branch. Non Probability sampling namely Simple Random Sampling was used as sampling technique. This study used Rating Scale. SPSS 22nd version and Microsoft Excel 2013 was used to process and test data. Result of this study shows that top management commitment, regulations and procedures, workplace environment, and employees’ involvement have significant effects on employees’ performance partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0.917.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of work competence, mutation, and promotion on the performance of finishing employees at CV Laksana Karoseri Ungaran. The population in this study were all 72 employees of the finishing department, and the sample was 61 employees who were selected using nonprobability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The data analysis model used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis model and the analysis technique used the f test and partial test (t test) with the SPSS 24 program. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that work competence and promotion has a significant positive effects on employee’s performance, while mutation variable has no significant effect on employee performance. The results of the f test show that together the variables of work competence, mutation, and promotion have a significant positive effects on the employee’s performance in the finishing department of CV Laksana Karoseri Ungaran

Abstract

Human resources are the main role in achieving corporate objective. This study aims to analyse the workload and work stress on Employee Performance at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Sentral Pengolahan Pos Semarang. This research is a quantitative study with 38 respondents. The sampling technique is saturated sampling technique. The data-collection technique used are questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The result shows that partially workload is negative and insignificant influence on employee performance, and work stress is positive and significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneuously workload and work stress have significant influence on employee performance. The influence of workload and work stress on employee performance is shown by Adjusted R Square value 0,115 (11,5%) and the remaining 88,5% are influenced by other variables that are not studied in this research

Abstract

This is important to know as an evaluation and improvement effort if there is something that needs to be improved and student satisfaction will create a good image for the institution, and a good image will create loyalty and pride of students in the Polines as an alma mater. This study is intended to find out how the level of student satisfaction over the service facilities of the Polytechnic Language Unit, as well as what factors influence student satisfaction with the service of the UPT  Bahasa Polines. The results of this study are expected to provide useful input for managers of health clinics in particular and Polines to be able to provide satisfactory services to students as their main consumers.Based on descriptive analysis using index analysis techniques (index value) and using the three-box criteria (three box method) it is known that all service quality variables (Tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) are perceived high (good) by the respondents. The results of the quantitative analysis of the study also showed that the service quality of the UPT Bahasa Semarang State Polytechnic  consisting of Tangible (X1), Reliability (X2), Responsiveness (X3), Assurance (X4), Empathy (X5) had a positive effect on student satisfaction(Y), but the only significant effect is the Assurance variable (X4), and Empathy variable (X5).To increase student satisfaction, it is recommended to the manager of theUPT Bahasa Polines by increasing the elements as in the indicators of the two variables, namely Empathy variable (X5): Attention and sincerity of officers / lecturers in the UPT Bahasa Polines  in accepting and serving visitors. good, convincing and polite by not discriminating, notifying the results of learning development / test results and providing suggestions for successful learning,Whereas for the Assurance variable (X4) : Competency, education and appropriate and adequate experience of officers and instructors of UPT Bahasa Polines, Hospitality in welcoming and serving thus giving rise to feelings / beliefs as the right place of service, Completeness of learning support facilities such as projectors, books,  audio video, language equipment / laboratory so that it can guarantee the success of learning.

Abstract

The Post Office is one of the BUMN companies in services in the delivery of goods, letters, payments, and so on. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of service quality, customer perceived value, and brand image on customer satisfaction at post office Cabang Utama Semarang. The methods of data collection used in this research are questionnaires, observation, and literature review. The sample are 100 respondents calculated by Slovin formula. The sampling technique used purposive sampling of 100 respondents who are customer of Post Office Cabang Utama Semarang. The analytical method used int this researchis, multiple linear regression method. Based on calculations using SPSS version 26, the results shows that the regression equation was Y = 0,056X1+0,487X2+0,486X3+e. The result of this study explained that the variable service quality, customer perceived value, and brand image had positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination in this research was 0,629 which means service quality, customer perceived value, and brand image affect the variable of customer satisfaction by 62,9%, while 37,1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Semarang conducts online-based communication through web media types: www.polines.ac.id, twitter:@polinesofficial, facebook: Polines Official, instagram: PolinesOfficial, youtube: PolinesOfficial. Politeknik Negeri semarang applies Cyber Public Relations as a means of communication performance. Cyber public relations is an application  of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) tools for the purposes of Public Relations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the effectiveness of communication and the application of cyber PR on the image formation of the Politeknik Negeri Semarang. The sample used in this study was 121 students, lecturers, education staff, as well as the general public outside the campus. Data collection using observation, and questionnaires with Differential Semantic scale. The result of the regression analysis is the value of F = 45,634 with Sig  0.000<0,05 . This means that the implementation of Cyber Public Relations and  Communication Effectiveness simultaneously have a significant effect on the Image of Polines. The coefficient of determination is 0.691. This means that the application of Cyber PR and Communication Effectiveness has an effect on the imageof Polines by 69.1%, the remaining 30,9% is influenced by other variables not examined. The implementation of Cyber Public Relations through Online Publications, through the use  social media partially has no significant effect on the image ofPolines.. The implementation of Cyber Public Relations through the Online Community Level partially has a significant effect on the image of Polines. Assessment of the Effectiveness of Cyber PR Communication through the Level of Information Capture (exposure) partially has a significant effect on the image of Polines. Assessment of Cyber PR Communication Effectiveness through the level of attention (attention),, through the level of understandingha (comprehensive),  partially has no significant effect on the image of Polines.
