Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance, the relationship between intrinsic motivation and work behavior, the impact of work behavior on performance, and the relationship between intrinsic motivation and performance through work behavior. The population in this study was all Civil Servants at the Papua Provincial Health Office. The research sample was 146 employees. The sampling technique employed in this study utilized a probability sample with a cluster sampling method. The analysis technique used was the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of the Moment of Structure Analysis (AMOS) version 26 program. The results of the study indicate that intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee work behavior, work behavior has a positive and important influence on employee performance and intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance through employee work behavior.

Abstract

A critical question is Was the theory which I developed really Grounded Theory (GT)?. GT aims to develop a new theory, it is perhaps one of the most abused phrases in a qualitative study. Increasingly, researchers are making claims to have used a GT approach. This method is a relatively little productive discussion in management literature. Grounded Theory of mode 2 knowledge production system brings together the supply side'of knowledge, including universities, with the ‘demand side', including business. The whole system depends for its effectiveness on a rapid interplay between management theory and practice. Mode 2 clearly focuses on management actions and describes the importance of involvement of participants and researcher through multidisciplinary approaches. This paper explains the history of GT, principles of GT, data analysis, an example in a building: Competitive Stakeholder Theory and finally working out the complexity of GT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh disiplin kerja kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Jayapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan membagikan 41 kuisioner kepada 41 responden. Analisa data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu meliputi Pengujian Intsrumen Penelitiandan Model Regresi, pengujian hipotesa, analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor BPBD Kabupaten Jayapura, koefisien signifikansi yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari koefisien yang ditentukan yakni 5% (0,000 < 0,05). Secara parsial, kemampuan kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan tidaksignifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Kantor BPBD Kabupaten Jayapura, koefisien signifikansi yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari koefisien yang ditentukan yakni 5% (0,000 < 0,05). Secara parsial, motivasi kerja tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Kantor BPBD Kabupaten Jayapura, koefisien signifikansi yang dihasilkan lebih besar dari koefisien yang ditentukanyakni 5% (0,894 > 0,05). Secarasimultanataubersama-sama, disiplinkerja, kemampuankerja, dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Kantor BPBD Kabupaten Jayapura, koefisien signifikansi yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari koefisien yang ditentukan yakni 5% (0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta peran motivasi kerja sebagai mediator hubungan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di IPDN Kampus Papua. Metode Penelitian: Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel terdiri dari 44 ASN di IPDN Kampus Papua. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (koefisien jalur = 0,291; p = 0,133). Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja (koefisien jalur = 0,764; p = 0,000), dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (koefisien jalur = 0,423; p = 0,029). Analisis indirect effect membuktikan bahwa motivasi kerja memediasi hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dan kinerja pegawai (koefisien jalur = 0,323; p = 0,040). Implikasi: Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja untuk mendorong motivasi, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada kinerja pegawai. Strategi pengelolaan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif perlu diintegrasikan dengan upaya peningkatan motivasi dalam kebijakan manajemen ASN.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine and analyze the direct and indirect influence of teacher competence on teacher performance through job satisfaction in several public secondary schools in Jayapura City, Papua Province. The research was conducted by sampling 145 civil servant teachers out of 331 civil servant teachers in 6 public high schools, using a deliberation/criteria technique. Data were collected through surveys and questionnaires, with a participation rate of 120 questionnaires (83%) returned, which were referred to as respondents. The analysis was performed using path analysis with the assistance of SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results of the analysis indicated that: 1) teacher competence had a positive and significant direct influence on teacher performance; 2) teacher competence had a positive and significant direct influence on job satisfaction; 3) job satisfaction had a positive and significant direct influence on teacher performance; and 4) job satisfaction mediated the positive and significant relationship between teacher competence and teacher performance.
