Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca Sativa L.) terhadap jenis media tanam dan jenis nutrisi dengan sistem hidroponik. Rancangan yang digunakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor pertama Media Tanam (M) : M1 (Rockwool), M2 (Sekam Padi), sedangkan faktor kedua Nutrisi (N) : N1 (AB Mix), N2 (Poc Nasa), N3 (Super Bionik) masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Sidik Ragam (ANOVA) dan apabila berbeda nyata dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5 %. Data hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan media tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun tanaman, berat segar tanaman, berat akar tanaman dan panjang akar tanaman. Pada perlakuan nutrisi berpengaruh sangat nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun umur 1 MST, 3 MST, 5 MST, berat segar tanaman, berat akar tanaman dan panjang akar tanaman selada.Terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan media tanam dan pemberian nutrisi pada tanaman selada berpengaruh sangat nyata pada berat segar tanaman dan berat akar tanaman selada. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik adalah perlakuan media tanam rockwool dan nutrisi ab mix. Kata kunci :Selada, Media Tanam, Nutrisi, Hidroponik, Pertumbuhan

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh macam naungan dan dosis pupuk nitrogen terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao l.). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) yang disusun secara factorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah naungan yang terdiri dari perlakuan tanpa naungan (S0), atap rumbia (S1), atap plastic (S2), dan atap gedeg (S3), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah pupuk nitrogen yang terdiri dari dosis 0 gram Urea/bibit (N0), dosis 2,5 gram Urea/bibit (N1), dosis 5 gram Urea/bibit (N2), dosis 7,5 gram Urea/bibit (N3), dosis 10 gram Urea/bibit (N4). Pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun,ndiameter batang, berat basah tajuk, berat kering tajuk, berat basah akar, berat kering akar.             Perlakuan pemupukan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, berat basah akar, berat kering akar, tetapi berpengaru sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun, berat basah tajuk dan berat kering tajuk. Perlakuan naungan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter, yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat basah basah tajuk, berat kering tajuk, berat basah akar dan berat kering akar. Hasil penelitian pengaruh dosis pupuk nitrogrn dan macam naungan  tidak terdapt interaksi terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao Kata Kunci : Tanaman kakao, Pupuk nitrogen, Macam naungan

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of solid oil palm waste application and mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) varietal differences on growth and yield performance in red-yellow podzolic soils in Bengkulu, Indonesia. A factorial experiment was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The two factors tested were four levels of solid waste application (0, 10, 15, and 20 tons/ha) and three mung bean varieties (Vima 2, Vima 4, and Vima 5). Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that solid waste application significantly improved plant height, number of pods per plant, pod weight, and seed weight per plant. Variety also had a significant effect on plant height at 56 days after planting. No significant interaction was observed between the two factors. Overall, the application of 20 tons/ha of solid waste resulted in the highest improvements in agronomic parameters. Among the tested varieties, Vima 5 demonstrated the best overall performance. These findings suggest that using solid oil palm waste at an optimal dose can enhance mung bean productivity in red-yellow podzolic soils, supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

The transformation of agriculture towards the digital era requires human resources with technical and entrepreneurial competencies relevant to the needs of modern industry. This study aims to analyse how improving technical and entrepreneurial competencies can prepare agricultural vocational school students to meet the demands of work in the digital agriculture sector. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through interviews, learning observations, and document studies related to the implementation of vocational competency strengthening. The results showed that technical competencies, including mastery of sensor-based agricultural technology, IoT, modern mechanisation, and digital literacy, contributed significantly to improving students' work readiness. On the other hand, entrepreneurial competencies enhance creativity, the ability to identify agribusiness opportunities, and students' motivation to pursue a career in the modern agricultural sector. The integration of these two competencies has been proven to strengthen students' interest in agriculture while shaping their adaptive abilities in facing the dynamics of digital agriculture. This study emphasises the importance of curriculum renewal, teacher capacity building, the provision of modern practical facilities, and partnerships with industry to support the development of students' competencies as future agricultural workers.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategic role of the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors as the backbone of the economy in border areas through a comprehensive literature analysis. These sectors make a major contribution to sustaining regional economic growth by providing employment, strengthening food security, supporting community income, and preserving the environment. However, optimising the role of these sectors still faces various challenges, such as limited infrastructure, restricted market access, low technology, socio-ecological conflicts, and policy and institutional challenges. The research method used systematic literature review with thematic analysis to identify contributions and obstacles faced. The research findings highlight the need for an integrated approach that strengthens infrastructure, human resource capacity, local institutions, and policy harmonisation to promote inclusive and sustainable regional economic growth in border areas. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for policy recommendations to strengthen the role of the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors as drivers of the border community's economy.

Abstract

KUR is a government initiative designed to provide access to capital to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in order to encourage inclusive economic growth and job creation. This research uses the literature study method to examine the issue. The results show several important findings. Firstly, KUR has a positive impact on improving community welfare. MSMEs that obtain KUR access are able to increase production capacity, expand market coverage, and create new jobs that directly affect income and living standards. Secondly, there is an imbalance in implementation and benefits between MSMEs in urban and remote areas. More developed areas tend to enjoy greater benefits because they have more access to information and facilities than remote areas. In addition to geographical factors, the quality of MSME management also affects the effectiveness of KUR. MSMEs with better management tend to be more effective in utilising KUR funds for productive activities, while those with poor management have difficulties in optimising the use of these funds. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the access and benefits of KUR evenly across all regions along with management training assistance for MSMEs. In conclusion, KUR is an important tool to improve economic welfare through the empowerment of MSMEs. However, continuous efforts are needed in equalising access, improving the quality of management, and coordinating between stakeholders to maximise the potential benefits of KUR. Thus, this programme can become a significant pioneer in achieving inclusive economic welfare in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the process of Improving Farmers' Welfare through the Modern Agroindustry-Based Economic System. The form of this research is descriptive, analytical, and critical. Therefore, the author can comprehensively describe how to Improve Farmers' Welfare through the Modern Agroindustry-Based Economic System. In this study, the authors optimally use two data sources related to this study, namely. Primary data sources and secondary data sources. The main sources of this research are books and scientific journals on Improving Farmers' Welfare through. At the same time, this research is supported (secondary), namely the Modern Agro-Industry-Based Economic System. The result of this research is that the modern agro-industry-based economic system is a strategic solution to improve the welfare of farmers. With the integration of technology, agricultural product processing, and digitalization, farmers can obtain higher added value and have wider market access. Therefore, support from the government, the private sector, and the active participation of farmers are needed to realize a sustainable agro-industrial system.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan bonggol pisang menjadi keripik sebagai upaya meminimalisir pencemaran lingkungan dari limbah pertanian serta meningkatkan nilai tambah ekonomi. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatif dan aplikatif melalui kegiatan yang dilaksanakan selama 7 hari, meliputi tahapan sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan, praktik langsung, pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi dengan melibatkan 30 anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Mawar di Desa Perbo. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pemanfaatan bonggol pisang sebagai bahan pangan alternatif, serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam proses pengolahan keripik bonggol pisang. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki karakteristik renyah, berwarna kuning kecoklatan, bercita rasa gurih, dan memiliki daya simpan yang cukup baik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mampu mengurangi limbah pertanian serta memberikan peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat. Simpulan pengabdian ini adalah pemanfaatan bonggol pisang menjadi keripik efektif dalam mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan dan potensi ekonomi masyarakat berbasis sumber daya lokal.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the aquaculture sector, the leading provider of global animal protein, demands the application of technological innovations that sustainably improve the productivity, health, and quality of farmed fish. Genetic engineering and biotechnology have become strategic tools for transforming modern aquaculture systems by improving fish genetic traits, increasing disease resistance, and optimizing product quality. This study aims to conduct a comprehensive literature review of the role of genetic engineering and biotechnology in aquaculture transformation, focusing on its implications for the production, health, and quality of farmed fish. The research method is a qualitative approach based on library research, analyzing reputable scientific articles indexed in the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases. The analysis used thematic content analysis to identify patterns, conceptual frameworks, research trends, and key research gaps. The study found that marker-assisted genetic selection, genomics, and CRISPR-Cas9-based gene editing significantly improved growth rate, feed efficiency, and disease resistance in fish. In addition, the development of biotechnology-based recombinant vaccines, probiotics, and biosensors contributes to improving fish health, food safety, and the quality of aquaculture products. However, the study also identified a range of challenges, including ecological risks, biosecurity issues, regulation, and social acceptance of genetically engineered organisms. Therefore, the transformation of biotechnology-based aquaculture needs to be balanced with a strong policy framework, a prudential approach, and sustainable governance. This research is expected to make a theoretical contribution to the development of modern aquaculture science and to have practical implications for the formulation of innovative, inclusive, and environmentally friendly fisheries industry strategies.

Abstract

Terong merupakan tumbuhan tnaman sayuran yang dapat tumbuh dengan mudah dalam berbagai kondisi dan tidak rewel dalam perawatannya Selain itu, tanaman terong memiliki masa tanam yang tidak terlalu lama menyebabkan tanaman banyak ditanam oleh masyarakat petani, termasuk petani di Kelurahan Air Bang. Biasanya terong ini oleh masyarakat petani dijual dalam bentuk segar sehingga nilai jual menjadi rendah. Untuk meningkatkan nilai jual tersebut diperlukan sentuhan teknologi untuk mengolah terong menjadi produk olahan, seperti dodol. Masyarakt Air Bang sebagai sasaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu PKK perlu diperkenalkan dengan produk olahan ini melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan dodol terong.  Serangkaian kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan mengenalkan teknologi sederhana kepada ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengolah terong menjadi dodol. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam yang melimpah namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam proses pengolahan dodol terong. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan dodol terong dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sasaran mampu mengaplikasikan pengolahan terong menjadi dodol terong. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi masyarakat umum dan industri rumah tangga secara khusus, sehingga perlu dilakukan kegiatan serupa di daerah lain.   Kata Kunci: terong, dodol, penyuluhan
