Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the public's perception of tofu waste management and its utilization in Malang Regency. The type of research used is survey research which is analyzed using descriptive statistics by looking at the percentage. The population used is residents around the Jaya Sari tofu factory, Sari Abadi, UD Lancar Jaya, and LW in Karangploso District, Malang Regency. While the instruments for data collection are interview questionnaires and documentation. Based on the description of the results of public perceptions, the highest percentage of perceptions is the question indicator no. 15 of 93.3%, which is about the need for socialization to the community about the use of water hyacinth plants and fish cultivation as an alternative to the use of tofu liquid waste.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to describe environmental attitudes in the community in the tofu factory area, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The method of carrying out activities is through the survey method. Data analysis used descriptive statistics by looking at the percentage and average. The population used is residents around the tofu factory, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, with a sampling technique through accidental sampling. The instrument used is an attitude scale questionnaire, interviews. Based on the results of the description, the average environmental attitude indicator shows the following criteria: the 'High' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 1,3,7,15, then the 'Medium' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 5,9,14, the 'Low' criterion is found. on the attitude indicator number 2,8,10, 12,13, then the 'Very Low' criterion is indicated by the attitude indicator number 4 with an average of 1,7. The conclusion of the environmental attitude of the community wants the need for an increase in waste management in the tofu factory area in Malang Regency.

Abstract

IKIP Budi Utomo Malang sebagai salah satu LPTK (Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Keguruan) merupakan institusi pencetak guru, sehingga para mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan keguruan di institut ini diharapkan akan mampu menjadi guru yang profesional. Guru yang profesional mampu untuk menyesuaikan diri dan mampu menjawab tantangan hidup abad 21, diantaranya adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil wawancara dengan dosen pengampu matakuliah yaitu pemberdayaan kemampuan berpikir kritis belum dilaksanakan dengan optimal dan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa hanya sampai tingkat C3. Metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh dosen lebih banyak pada metode ceramah dan diskusi. Solusi yang ditempuh yaitu menerapkan pembelajaran dengan model siklus belajar 5E secara Lesson Study, artinya tim peneliti dan dosen secara bersama merancang dan merefleksi pembelajaran demi terciptanya pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berbasis Lesson Study (LS) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Waktu pelaksanaan mulai akhir bulan Oktober sampai pada akhir bulan November 2015. Tahap penelitian yang dijalankan meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada tahap tindakan, dilaksanakan tahap-tahap LS yaitu Plan, Do, dan See. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara dosen pengampu, tes tulis dan rubrik penilaian kemampuan berikir kritis, angket balikan mahasiswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, dan lembar observasi kegiatan lesson study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran model siklus belajar 5E.

Abstract

Teaching materials are one of the factors that can affect the smoothness of the learning process and student learning outcomes. Design and Learning Strategies courses are compulsory subjects taught at the S1 level of the Health and Recreation Physical Education Study Program at IKIP Budi Utomo. Teaching materials for Design and Learning Strategies courses that are currently used are limited to printed teaching materials which contain material descriptions. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students in learning Design and Learning Strategy Subjects, especially in providing learning resources at IKIP Budi Utomo. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were students of the 2018 IKIP Budi Utomo Recreation and Physical Education Study Program. The sample was randomly selected. They are collecting data through interviews with Subject Management Lecturers and student questionnaires. The results of the interviews show that the teaching materials used so far are still limited to printed teaching materials which contain descriptions of design materials and learning strategies in general, there are no specific examples of Physical Education learning designs and also important concepts of Physical Education learning. The results of the student need questionnaire analysis show that: 1) the teaching materials needed by students are in the form of electronic teaching materials (e-books), 2) the material in the teaching materials is material related to the specifications of the field of science, namely physical education learning.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential competency needed in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, driven by rapid technological advancements. This study aims to analyze the level of digital literacy of prospective teacher students in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, focusing on students’ demographics, namely age, gender and length of study. Survey method was administered in this study, involving 120 prospective teacher students from Universitas Insan Budi Utomo as the respondents. The data were collected through a questionnaire of 1-5 Likert scale, which included questions assessing students' digital literacy levels. The findings of this study portrayed data on students' digital literacy levels according to demographics (gender, age, and length of study). In general, the digital literacy level of Insan Budi Utomo University students is known to be in the “fairly good” category with an average score of 3.14 for the knowledge aspect and 3.20 for the usage aspect. The results of this study are recommended as a reference for designing learning experiences that empower digital literacy, supporting students in becoming more digitally proficient.

Abstract

Classroom action research is conducted to determine the application of blended learning in Nutrition Science at IKIP Budi Utomo and increase student motivation through blended learning. The research method uses Classroom Action Research for two cycles. Learning motivation is measured using a learning motivation questionnaire at the end of each cycle and the application of blended learning is described based on the lesson plan implementation sheet and the learning observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that IKIP Budi Utomo’s student motivation has increased by 25%. In addition the implementation of blended learning has a positive impact on student skills using technology.

Abstract

Pendekatan Deep Learning atau disebut Pembelajaran Mendalam (PM) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digaungkan saat ini. Namun kenyataannya, para guru-khususnya guru-guru pengajar maple PJOK masih kesulitan dalam Menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Deep Learning . Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi anggota KKG Korwed Turen dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) berbasis pendekatan Deep Learning . Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara hybrid (daring dan luring) yang meliputi pendalaman konsep Deep Learning secara daring, lokakarya penyusunan RPP/Silabus/Modul Ajar secara luring, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi secara daring. Kegiatan pendampingan ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran PJOK dengan pendekatan Deep Learning yang sahih dan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Seluruh peserta kegiatan antusias dan mengalami peningkatan keterampilan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Deep Learning.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of student’s learning motivation in Basic Teaching Skills course. Descriptive quantitative method was applied in this study, in which the numerical data were presented in descriptive form. The Likert-scale was used to measure the questionnaire as the instrument of this study. Findings showed that according to the result of motivation scale table, it could be stated that the students were in a ‘very good’ category of learning motivation. In details, the average score for each question item was 65.81, which determined as ‘very good’. While the average score for the whole question items was 156.85, considered as ‘very good’. Along with that, the highest score was found in question number 42 (score 80 and categorized as ‘very good’), while the lowest score was in question item 35 (score 41 and categorized as ‘enough’). Thus, in reference to the statement of the questionnaire, it was fair to say that students were genuinely happy and excited in learning Basic Teaching Skills despite the fact that they found it worthless for current and future situation.

Abstract

Perkembangan olahraga Socca di Jawa Timur menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, namun belum diimbangi dengan ketersediaan wasit yang kompeten dan tersertifikasi. Kondisi ini berpotensi memengaruhi kualitas pertandingan dan sportivitas kompetisi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi perwasitan Socca melalui pelatihan berbasis teori dan praktik lapangan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan 30 peserta calon wasit dan praktisi olahraga, bekerja sama dengan Federasi Socca Indonesia Jawa Timur. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari melalui pembelajaran regulasi permainan, kode etik wasit, simulasi pertandingan, serta evaluasi teori dan praktik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kehadiran peserta mencapai 100% dan seluruh peserta dinyatakan lulus. Skor rata-rata pengetahuan perwasitan berada pada kategori baik (82,4%), sementara keterampilan praktik lapangan juga berada pada kategori baik (80,5%). Selain itu, tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap materi, instruktur, dan metode pelatihan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan wasit Socca berbasis teori dan praktik lapangan secara efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap profesional peserta serta mendukung kesiapan mereka untuk berperan sebagai wasit pada pertandingan resmi di tingkat daerah.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of understanding the relationship between physical condition and technical skills in early age soccer. The problem raised was the lack of clarity regarding the direct relationship between running speed and dribbling skills in young players at SSB Bhirawa Tirtoyudo. The purpose of this study was to analyze the significant relationship between speed and soccer dribbling skills. The method used was quantitative correlational with a sample of 35 players selected purposively. The research instruments were a 30-meter running speed test and a standardized zig-zag dribbling test. The data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation test after fulfilling the assumptions of normality and linearity. The results showed a strong and significant negative relationship between speed and dribbling skills (r = -0.726, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.527 indicated that 52.7% of the variation in dribbling skills was influenced by speed. The conclusion of this study is that speed is a determining factor that greatly contributes to dribbling quality. Implicitly, coaches are advised to integrate speed training into dribbling skill development programs to optimize the holistic performance of young players.
