Abstract

Margamukti Village is one of the villages located in the northern part of Bandung Regency, precisely in Pangalengan District. This village has great potential in the agricultural and livestock sectors. The population of Margamukti Village in 2017 was 17,437 people with a total of 5,273 Heads of Families (KK). Of this population, 3,078 people are farmers and 1,069 livestock businesses, meaning that 70.5% of the population of Margamukti Village depend on agriculture and animal husbandry for their livelihood. Margamukti Village is one of the villages that has started to initiate the use of renewable energy by using biogas from cow dung. Biogas is an alternative fuel for the future because it can be used as vehicle fuel and to generate electricity, including to meet household energy needs. The data collection method used in this PkM report is a descriptive method which includes: Observations were carried out by direct research into the area to identify community conditions, natural conditions, and people's daily activities. Activities with interviews regarding this matter, we conducted direct interviews with the Village Head, Head of RW, Community Leaders and Livestock Owners who have installed the biogas system. This community service focuses on optimal utilization of cow dung to be treated as waste and to manage the gas that comes out into a fire that is distributed. Distribution via PVC pipe to the gas stove. Also, through the channel, it is channeled to the lamp cover shirt which can be ignited with a lighter so that it lights up like a petromax lamp.Keywords: biogas, cow dung, lamp, stove

Abstract

Desa Margamukti merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di bagian utara Kabupaten Bandung tepatnya berada di Kecamatan Pangalengan. Desa ini memiliki potensi yang besar di dalam sektor pertanian dan peternakan. Penduduk Desa Margamukti pada tahun 2017 adalah sebanyak 17.437 orang orang dengan jumlah Kepala Keluarga (KK) sebanyak 5.273. Dari sejumlah penduduk tersebut sebanyak 3.078 orang adalah petani dan 1.069 usaha ternak, artinya sebesar 70,5 % penduduk Desa Margamukti menggantungkan hidupnya dari sektor pertanian dan  peternakan.  Desa Margamukti merupakan salah satu desa yang mulai menginisiasi penggunaan energi terbarukan dengan menggunakan Biogas dari kotoran sapi. Biogas merupakan bahan bakar alternatif masa depan karena dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan maupun untuk menghasilkan listrik termasuk untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi rumah tangga. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam laporan PkM ini adalah metode deskriptif yang meliputi: Observasi dilakukan dengan meneliti langsung ke wilayah mengenali kondisi masyarakat, kondisi alam, dan kegiatan sehari – hari masyarakat. Kegiatan dengan wawancara mengenai hal ini, kami melakukan wawancara langsung dengan Kepala Desa, Ketua RW, Tokoh Masyarakat serta Pemilik Peternakan yang sudah menginstalasi system biogas. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan optimal Kotoran Sapi untuk diolah limbah dan dikelola gas yang keluar menjadi api yang disalurkan. Penyaluran lewat pipa PVC ke kompor gas. Juga lewat saluran disalurkan ke kaus sarung lampu yang dapat dinyalakan dengan pemantik api sehingga menyala seperti lampu petromaks.Kata kunci: biogas, kotoran sapi, lampu, kompor

Abstract

This study aims to design a simple and affordable G-0 potato seed counting machine to improve accuracy and efficiency at PT. Kentang Holando Sejahtera. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving field observation, design modeling with SketchUp, and manual Cost Budget Planning (RAB) as the cost analysis method. The machine is designed with dimensions of 40×35×40 cm and a 40×40×20 cm hopper, with a capacity of approximately 3,000 seeds. Main materials include steel plate, round steel, and angle iron. Key components consist of a manual crank handle, magnetic sensor, and digital counter. The results show that the machine can be built at a cost of around Rp900,000 and increases work efficiency by 30–40%. It is suitable for small- to medium-scale agribusinesses, user-friendly, and replicable in low-tech agricultural settings. Further prototype testing and development into a semi-automatic system are recommended.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is a horticultural plant that has high economic value and contains nutrients that the body needs. Cayenne pepper is one of the leading national horticultural commodities, so it is necessary to increase the production of cayenne pepper appropriately. The obstacle that is often faced in the production of cayenne pepper is the disruption of the production of cayenne pepper caused by the attack of anthracnose disease. Anthracnose disease or fruit rot caused by the fungus Colletotrichum capcisi Sydow can result in yield losses ranging from 20-90%. Trichoderma harzianum Rifai. is a soil saprophytic fungus that naturally can be used as a biological agent, because it has antagonism against pathogens in the form of competition for space and nutrients, mycoparasites and antibiosis. The experimental results in the laboratory showed that the biological agent Trichoderma harzianum Rifai was able to suppress the development of anthracnose disease.

Abstract

This study aims to design an automatic seed sorting device for G-0 potato seeds using a load cell sensor as a solution to the limitations of manual sorting systems commonly used in the field. The system detects the seed weight through a load cell sensor connected to an Arduino microcontroller, enabling precise and automated sorting. The Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) was applied to evaluate four design alternatives based on functional, technical, and operational criteria. The results indicate that Design B is the most optimal, achieving the highest preference score. Financial feasibility analysis further supports the project's viability, with positive NPV, a high IRR, a B/C Ratio above 1, a short payback period, and a low break-even point. Therefore, the tool is considered feasible both technically and economically and shows strong potential for broader implementation in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Dehydration is a serious medical condition that occurs when the body lacks the fluids necessary to carry out its physiological functions optimally. The problem of dehydration is often overlooked because of its inimmediate nature until it reaches a more severe level. To overcome these problems, a tool is needed that can help individuals to monitor water consumption and remind them to stay hydrated. This research aims to design an Internet of Think (IoT)-based dehydration prevention tool with a Design Thinking approach to ensure that the product is truly useful and accepted by users. The results of the analysis showed that the dehydration prevention device was acceptable if the device was able to remind the user without interfering with daily activities, ergonomic and attractive design, and customizable reminder features. Based on the results of the analysis of the System Usability Scale (SUS) score, this tool obtained a score of 63.67 with a grade scale of D, adjective rating good and included in the Acceptability Ranges category. The results of the financial analysis show that this dehydration prevention tool business is feasible to run. This business has positive indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. Rp. 15,790,933.86, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 24%, Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) of 1.21, Payback Period for 2 years and BEP of 43 units per month.   Keywords: Dehydration, Design Thinking, Financial Feasibility Analysis, Tool Design.

Abstract

Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Wira Tani berada di Kabupaten Karawang yang merupakan mitra, dibangun secara swadaya kelompok tani sebagai wadah penyuluhan pertanian dan mempunyai program yaitu pelatih pertanian peternakan-perikanan untuk masyarakat, program magang dan praktik kerja lapangan, serta pusat informasi dan teknologi pertanian, termasuk aktivitas berbasis kesadaran lingkungan. Wira Tani menjadi tujuan studi banding dari siswa/i sekolah PAUD sampai SMP-SMA dan mahasiswa disekitar Karawang dan Jabodetabek, kelompok komunitas Tani, komunitas bisnis, serta menjadi tujuan kunjungan instansi hingga wisata keluarga. Kegiatan P4S ini melipun berbagai kegiatan edukasi dan pendidikan pertanian terpadu. P4S Wiratani mengembangakan Agroeduwisata menjadi pusat Agroecocultureedutaniment dengan biaya Rp. 4 Milyar secara mandiri . Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) diharapkan P4S WIRA TANI dapat Mengoptimalkan peran seluruh pengurus P4S Wira Tani, Meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat, Mengembangkan solusi berbasis budaya lokal, Mengintegrasikan nilai budaya Sunda. Menjadikan P4S WIRA TANI sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman.

Abstract

Desa Bojongsari, Kabupaten Bandung, memiliki potensi wisata yang besar yang belum sepenuhnya dikembangkan dan dipromosikan secara efektif. Wisata desa adalah salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam, budaya, dan kearifan lokal yang ada di desa. Penggunaan teknologi informasi, seperti aplikasi berbasis web, telah terbukti efektif dalam mengelola dan mempromosikan pariwisata desa. Aplikasi ini juga dapat membantu desa dalam mengelola data wisatawan, menyajikan informasi tentang tempat wisata, acara lokal, dan produk unggulan desa, yang semuanya berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah platform berbasis web yang dapat membantu mempromosikan destinasi wisata di Desa Bojongsari. Pembuatan aplikasi wisata desa Bojongsari menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Agile. Metode pengembangan ini di pilih karena sesuai dengan kebutuhan di desa Bojongsari yang dapat melakukan perbaikan setiap tahap pengembangan tampa mengangu sistem yang sedang bekerja. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan wisatawan dapat lebih mudah menemukan informasi mengenai Desa Bojongsari dan tertarik untuk berkunjung, sehingga desa ini dapat berkembang menjadi destinasi wisata unggulan di Kabupaten Bandung.

Abstract

The manufacture of aircraft wings is a complex production process that requires high accuracy and precision. Each component must be manufactured to strict standards in order to meet the expected safety and quality criteria. One of the problems that often arise in the production process is component reject, where the component does not meet the set quality standards and must be discarded. The Ref D-Nose Panel component is a very important part in the manufacture of aircraft wings. This section serves as a protector and stabilizer on the nose of the aircraft wing. Therefore, the quality and accuracy of the manufacture and installation of these components is very important to ensure the safety and quality of the aircraft. During the manufacture of Ref D-Nose components, it was possible for these components to become damaged. Defects in the D-nose plate components can affect the quality and performance of the aircraft and even endanger the safety of passengers. The Importance of Reject Analysis for the Aviation Industry, which is included in a high-risk industry, is one of the things that is very influential for the quality of a product, so that there is no loss that must be compensated by the PT for consumers due to the occurrence of rejects. This loss is because the cost of making a component is very large and if the component is not in accordance with the wishes of the consumer, the consumer does not want to accept the component so that the loss is borne by the company. The research was conducted only by using Pareto Charts. The application of the Pareto Diagram is expected to be able to reduce the defect rate so that the quality of the company can increase. , eight types of defects were identified in the Ref D-Nose Panel component consisting of pitting corrosion defects on the surface area, corrosion toolmarks, scratches on marking areas, corrosion toolmarks, damagers, damaged parts/materials, diameter damage, False Cut errors in the chemical mill area , additional hole diameter on the countersunk area, and Actual contour part.
