Abstract

ABSTRAK: Bawang merah (Allium cepa L) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang selama ini dibudidayakan oleh petani  menjadi komoditas unggulan nasional. bawang merah berkhasiat untuk mengobati maag, masuk angin, menurunkan kadar gula dalam darah, kolesterol, obat penyakit kencing manis, menghilangkan lendir dalam tenggorokan, memperlancar peredaran darah, mencegah penggumpalan trombosit, dan meningkatkan aktivitas fibrinolitik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakann diDesa Maranda Kecamatan Poso Pesisir Utara pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan , yaitu:=tanpa tepung cangkang telur (kontrol), tepung cangkang telur 30 gram (T1), tepung cangkang telur 60 gram (T2), tepung cangkang telur 90 gram (T3), tepung cangkang telur 120 gram (T4). Tiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapatt 20 kali unit percobaan sehingga dalam penelitian ini terdapat 100 tanaman. Hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan berbagai dosis tepung cangkang telur ayam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar umbi, bobot kering umbi dan hasil produksi umbi bawang merah varietasLembah Palu.Penggunaan tepung cangkang telur pada perlakuan 90 gram/tanaman merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah varietas Lembah Palu. ABSTRACT: Shallots (Allium cepa L.) is a horticultural plant which has been cultivated by farmers to become a national superior commodity. Shallots are efficacious for treating ulcers, colds, lowering blood sugar levels, cholesterol, medicine for diabetes, removing mucus in the throat, improving blood circulation, prevents platelet clumping, and increases fibrinolytic activity. This research was carried out in Maranda Village, Poso Pesisir Utara Sub-District from June to August 2023. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments, namely: = without egg shell flour (control), 30 gram egg shell flour (T1), flour egg shell 60 grams (T2), egg shell flour 90 grams (T3), egg shell flour 120 grams (T4). Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that there were 20 experimental units so that in this study there were 100 plants. The results of the research were that the use of various chicken eggshell starch steps had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of tubers, dry weight of tubers and production yields of shallots of the Palu Valley variety.

Abstract

Abstrak: Semangka (Citrullus Lanatus) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang termasuk dalam famili Cucurbitaceae (labu-labuan), Buah semangka mempunyai kandungan vitamin A, vitamin C, dan vitamin lainnya serta antioksidan kuat yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan dan dapat mencegah dehidrasi karena banyaknya air di dalamnya. Untuk mempertahankan permintaan produksi, perlu melakukan teknik budidaya tanaman yang baik salah satunya dengan melakukan pemberian pupuk agar memenuhi kebutuhan unsur hara tanaman semangka, Salah satu pupuk organik yang mampu menunjang kebutuhan unsur tamanan semangka yaitu pupuk guano. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis pupuk guano dan dosis yang terbaik dari penggunaan pupuk guano pada tanaman semangka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Ranononcu Kecamatan Poso Kota Selatan Kabupaten Poso. Berada pada titik koordinat Latitude –1.4224330 dan Longitude 120.7649870, Sulawesi Tengah, dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei–Juni 2024. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial yang menggunakan Pupuk Guano sebagai perlakuan dengan 5 taraf dosis yaitu S0 : Tanpa Gupuk Guano (kontrol), S1 : Pupuk Guano 5 ton/ha (2.800 gram/bedengan), S2 : Pupuk Guano 10 ton/ha (5.600 gram/bedengan), S3 : Pupuk Guano 15 ton/ha (8.400 gram/bedengan), S4 : Pupuk Guano 20 ton/ha( 11.200 gram/bedengan). Belum ditemukan dosis yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan tanaman semangka.

Abstract

Cabai  rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) merupakan tanaman yang dibudidayakan oleh petani karena banyak dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat, tidak hanya dalam skala rumah tangga dan industri tetapi juga diekspor ke luar negeri. Sehubungan dengan meningkatnya permintaan terhadap cabai rawit, maka produksi cabai rawit perlu ditingkatkan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil cabai rawit adalah dengan melakukan pemangkasan pucuk. Percobaan dua faktor meliputi waktu pemangkasan pucuk (14, 21 dan 28 hari setelah pindah) dan panjang pemangkasan pucuk (0.5, 1.0 dan 1.5 cm dari pucuk) disusun dalam rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dan ulangi sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu pemangkasan pucuk berpengaruh nyata hingga sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit. Pemangkasan pada umur 28 hsp membantu tanaman cabai rawit tumbuh dan memiliki rata-rata hasil tertinggi. Panjang pemangkasan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan kecuali laju pertumbuhan pada umur 30 hsp. Panjang pemangkasan 1.5 cm menunjukkan tingkat pertumbuhan rata-rata tertinggi. Terdapat interaksi  nyata hingga sangat nyata antara waktu pemangkasan pucuk dengan panjang pemangkasan pucuk. Panjang pangkasan 1.5 cm pada umur 28 hsp memberikan hasil tertinggi yaitu 65.92 tangkai buah dengan berat 169.77 gram/pohon.

Abstract

Agricultural extension agents have a role as a motivator, dynamist, facilitator and communicator. Therefore, extension workers have an important role to provide knowledge to farmers about improving farming and crop productivity, in this case rice farming in Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency. This research was carried out from May to August 2020 in Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency and the objective was to determine the role of agricultural extension workers in increasing the competence of paddy field farmers. The research was carried out using quantitative methods with a total sample of 144 paddy field farmers. Based on the research results, the role of extension workers as advisors increases the competence of paddy field farmers in the cultivation aspect, while the role of extension agents as motivators, dynamists, communicators and facilitators was very significantly negatively related to the competence of farmers in aspects of cultivation and harvesting.

Abstract

Ginger as a biopharmaca commodity plant occupies a very important position in the economy of the Indonesian people so it is important to be cultivated. The study aims to determinate the best rhizome weight and composition of planting media and their interaction with the initial growth of red ginger seedlings. this study was designed using a randomized block factorial design with 2 treatment factor consisting of the first factor being planting media (M) consisting of: M1 : soil; M2: soil + sand + cow manure (1:1:1); M3: soil + sand+chicken manure ( 1:1:1); M4: soil + sand + goat manure (1:1:1); M5:soil + husk charcoal + cow manure (1:1:1); M6: soil+husk charcoal + chicken manure (1:1:1); M7: soil + husk charcoal + goat manure (1:1:1). the second factor is the weight of the rhizome  (R) which consists of R1: rhizome weight 10 ≥ to <20 grams; R2 rhizome weight ≥20 to  ≤30 grams. The result showed that the treatment of the use of rhizome weight of ≥20 to ≤30 grams significantly affected plant height, the number of leaves, shoot diameter, and several shoots. the use of the composition of the planting media (M5) gives the best effect on the age parameters of sprouting. there was no interaction on all observed parameters.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne simple indicator of balanced nutrition is the consumption of vegetables of 250 grams per day. Therefore, the increasing population demands an adequate supply of vegetables. Tomato is a vegetable that contains nutrients and has health benefits. Additionally, tomato is also one of the vegetables that generate foreign exchange for the country through exports. One possible way to increase tomato production is the use of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) made from Bamboo Shoots. Bamboo shoots LOF contains essential nutrients for the growth and development of tomato plants. The method used in this study was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, namely P0: Without LOF, P1: 50 ml bamboo shoots LOF per liter, P2: 100 mL bamboo shoots LOF per liter, P3: 150 mL bamboo shoots LOF per liter, and P4: 200 mL bamboo shoots LOF per liter. The results showed that the application of LOF had a significant effect on increasing the number and weight of tomato fruits, with the best concentration at 100 mL LOF per liter of water.

Abstract

Budaya pembelajaran berbasis projek (PjbL) di satuan pendidikan adalah salah satu faktor penentu kesuksesan pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Budaya PjbL yang kuat akan membentuk satu ekosistem untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi penguatan karakter Pancasila para peserta didik di satuan pendidikan tersebut. Dari hasil analisis situasi tim pelaksana, mitra kegiatan yaitu SD GKST 1 Poso dan SD GKST Tagolu belum memiliki budaya PjbL yang kuat. Salah satu indikator budaya PjbL yang kuat adalah adanya P5 lintas disiplin berbasis multiliterasi dimana setiap tahapannya, yaitu tahap perancangan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasinya, bersifat kolaboratif melibatkan pihak lain sebagai narasumber pengaya projek. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berbentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru-guru di SD GKST 1 Poso dan SD GKST Tagolu yang dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Participatory Learning and Action. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari kegiatan ini adalah tes, daftar tilik, dan pertanyaan terbuka dalam kegiatan diskusi grup terpumpun. Data kemudian diolah menggunakan prosedur deskriptif kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya (1) peningkatan pengetahuan multiliterasi guru; (2) peningkatan kuantitas P5 lintas disiplin berbasis multiliterasi; (3) peningkatan bentuk keterlibatan pihak lain dalam setiap tahapan P5, dan: (4) peningkatan jumlah dokumen acuan PjbL.
