Abstract

The development of Outcome Based Education (OBE) Information System is done as a solution to academic problems related to the achievement of graduate learning for students. In addition, the OBE system is a form of effort to improve academic quality in order to be able to monitor and measure the development of student learning outcomes in a college study program. The Outcome Based Education system includes all grades processing based on Course Learning Outcomes which is related to Graduates Learning Outcomes so that the outcomes of each student can be measured. This information system is developed by the Rapid Application Development method, and uses the Yii2 Framework with the concept of MVC (Model, View, Controller) where system programming is separated based on application components, such as: manipulating data, controllers, and user interfaces. The use of the RAD method and the Yii2 Framework in making applications can be done quickly and in a structured manner making it easier for future developments. The developed system has been successfully tested and applied in the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Civil Engineering Study Program and Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and planned to be implemented in all study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University. This information system can be applied not only in the engineering faculty of Sebelas Maret University but also outside the university which requires an information system to measure the learning outcomes of graduates.

Abstract

The Medium Voltage Network is an electrical power system between main substations and distribution substations with the scope from the out-going terminal of the power breaker to the in-coming separation / protection equipment for 20kV distribution transformer. The Medium Voltage Network distributes electricity and deals with customers must pay attention for the level of reliability which is able to supply electric power to consumers on a continuous basis. The reliability level of the distribution system can be determined by calculating SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index), which is the reliability index of the number of blackout frequencies. Based on the results of the calculation and analysis of the system-based reliability index that the obtained results of 10.89 times/customer/year with total energy not served was 57772 kWh which were considered unreliable distribution system according to the SPLN 68-2: 1986 index standard. Furthermore, it is necessary to analyze, evaluate the causes of trips and budget policies as an effort to reduce the value of SAIFI. Preventive activities include: routine inspections, installation of wire insulation, as well as utilizing IoT technology, databases and GPS for system digitization for distribution system reliability. Abstract

Situasi sosial dan keamanan masyarakat masa kini terkadang muncul masalah terkait keyakinan agama. Berita-berita tentang penyerangan terhadap imam di masjid, pencurian kotak amal, pencurian alat pengeras suara, upaya pembakaran, vandalisme, hingga terorisme muncul. Pengamanan rumah ibadah secara ketat selama 24 jam memerlukan petugas keamanan yang menyedot anggaran rumah ibadah. Seringkali pengurusan rumah ibadah dilakukan secara sukarela sehingga tidak bisa dikontrol 24 jam terus-menerus oleh petugas masjid. Di sisi lainnya teknologi pengamanan secara elektronik telah tersedia dan dimanfaatkan secara luas di masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi celah yang ada ini, rumah ibadah di masa sekarang perlu memanfaatkan sistem keamanan elektronik. Untuk itu di dalam usulan ini diajukan judul implementasi dan edukasi sistem keamanan elektronik di rumah ibadah. Penyediaan perangkat dan pelatihan operasional diberikan pada beberapa rumah ibadah mitra. Berdasarkan pengukuran umpan balik kuesioner, hasilnya dirasakan positif oleh masyarakat. Dengan demikian aktivitas yang tidak selayaknya dilakukan dapat dipersempit ruang geraknya.

Abstract

IEEE 802.11b/g/n WLAN with conventional ESS infrastructure doesn’t support handover feature. Handover feature allows user to migrate services between APs without losing connection. Handoff latency is one problem in WLAN to perform real-time application such as VoIP. To bring seamless handover and QoS guarantee in ESS network, we propose five network optimization methods i.e.configuring overlapping area of APs, placing APs in one roaming domain, using the same SSID and security mode, choosing APs channel by margin of 5, and configuring APs as DHCP forwarder. Handover test is done by sniffing on the client that experienced handover. In the result, there are three steps in Layer 2 handoff, i.e. probing, authentication, and re-association with maximum handoff latency is 325.02 ms in data services and 67.412 ms in VoIP. In VoIP services, one way delay is 39.985 - 49.18 ms, one way jitter is 9.45 - 19.57 ms, and the packet loss is 0 - 0.548%. Overall, the built network system is able to guarantee QoS in handover case, both in data and VoIP services.

Abstract

A generator can produce electricity with three required conditions: a magnetic field, a coil, and a change in flux passing through the coil. The place to put the coil on the generator is called a slot. The number of slots can affect the characteristics of the generator. Changing the number of slots affects Back EMF and KE with a fixed generator geometry dimension. The simulation uses coiled wire with a diameter of 1 mm. In this research, PMSG 12s10p was designed, and the slots were varied into 15s10p and 24s10p. The PMSG 12s10p has 12 slots with 188 coils, the 15s10p has 15 slots with 158 coils, and the 24s10p has 24 slots with 79 coils. The simulation results show that the average DC voltage on PMSG 12s10p, 15s10p and 24s10p is 256,138 V, 277,340 V and 198,299 V, respectively. Electrical constant (KE), the KE value for each PMSG variation is 2.53 (PMSG 12s10p), 2.64 (PMSG 15s10p) and 1.89 (PMSG 24s10p). The simulation results show that PMSG 15s10p produces the largest back EMF and KE values.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara agraris, tetapi disayang saat ini semakin sedikit generasi muda yang mau terjun di bidang pertanian. Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Pertanian petani muda di Indonesia yang berusia 20-39 tahun hanya sekitar 2,7 juta orang yang artinya hanya sekitar 8 persen dari total 33,4 juta orang petani. Untuk mewujudkan cita-cita Indonesia Lumbung Pangan Dunia tahun 2045 sangat pentingnya mengajak generasi muda atau kaum milenial untuk terjun dan menekuni usaha pertanian. Hal tersebut secara mikro juga tampak di dalam minat para pemuda untuk terjun ke bidang pertanian di Dusun Ngentak, Bulakrejo, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Para pemuda perlu didekati dengan fakta bahwa pertanian tidak identik dengan terbelakang, tetapi dapat pula menarik dan modern dengan mengimplementasikan teknologi kekinian. Sehingga di dalam program pengabdian ini akan dilakukan implementasi dan sosialisasi smart farming hidroponik berbasis Internet of Thing (IoT) di. Perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi teknologi pertanian cerdas atau smart farming agar bisa peningkatan efisiensi produksi, kualitas dan kontinuitas produk-produk pertanian terutama hortikuktura. Selain itu penerapan smart farming juga akan menarik generasi milenial untuk tidak malu menggeluti bidang pertanian. Berbagai macam sistem hidroponik akan dikenalkan baik itu sistem sumbu (WICK) deep flow technique (DFT), Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), sistem rakit apung (Floating Hydroponics System FHS), dan lainnya. Masyarakat juga perlu diedukasi untuk mengetahui parameter-parameter penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman hidroponik seperti nilai pH, nilai EC (electrical conductivity), suhu nutrisi, dan kadar oksigen. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan antusias masyarakat terutama generasi milenial untuk menerapkan smart farming hidroponik.

Abstract

In this digital age, most aspects of life require an electric supply. The availability of electrical power is very critical to maintaining the continuity of the system in various applications. To maintain system continuity, the Energy Monitoring and Control of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) between the Grid and Solar Panel is proposed. The system consists of an Automatic Transfer Switch, Home Solar Power Plant, and Automatic Charging. The function of the monitoring system is to monitor the voltage, current, and power across the device, the operation mode of the ATS, and the State of Charge (SoC) of the battery. The control system is to control the operation mode of ATS according to the energy source selected by the user on the Internet of Things (IoT) interface. The results show that the system can successfully monitor solar panel conditions, AC output, and battery's State of Charge through Blynk IoT. The ATS works automatically with a switching delay of 20ms to 26ms, while on the user's command, the average switching delay is 303.33ms to activate the relay and 185ms to deactivate the relay.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia sudah berada pada era digital dan revolusi industri 4.0, yang berhubungan dengan Internet dan teknologi digital. Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang pesat khususnya internet menjadikan pekerjaan lebih ringan. Dengan kemampuan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan dipadukan kesadaran literasi di era digital maka masyarakat akan mampu menggunakan TIK untuk hal-hal yang positif dan bermanfaat serta terhindar dari hal-hal yang negatif. Namun banyak masyarakat yang belum bisa menggunakan TIK seperti membuat dokumen, desain dasar, dan pemakaian internet. Untuk itu perlu digencarkan pelatihan-pelatihan TIK untuk masyarakat. Pelatihan ini berkerjasama dengan Yayasan Hubbul Khoir yang terletak di Dukuh Ngentak, Bulakrejo, Sukoharjo. Pada pelatihan desain dengan menggunakan aplikasi Inkscape. Aplikasi Inkscape dipilih karena aplikasi ini gratis dan sangat popular untuk saat ini. Pelatihan desain ini telah terlaksana pada tanggal 12-16 September 2020. Karena masih pandemic Covid-19, pelatihan diadakan secara online lewat Whatsapp, Telegram dan Zoom. Peserta menjadi paham dan mengetahui seluk beluk internet dan penggunaan desain sesuai dengan modul/ materi yang telah diberikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merancang jaringan 4G menggunakan frekuensi 700 Mhz dengan bandwidth 20 Mhz di kawasan Kroya, Cilacap seluas 31,636 km2. Model propagasi yang digunakan adalah Okumura-Hatta. Simulasi prediksi coverage menggunakan Software Atoll 3,4 yang menggunakan frekuensi 700 Mhz. didapatkan jumlah Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) sebanyak 25. Berdasarkan jumlah Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) tersebut, maka dilanjutkan dengan mensimulasikan dengan parameter-parameter penelitian yang telah ditentukan. Rata-rata tingkat sinyal (Coverage by Signal) pada SU-MIMO dan MU-MIMO didapatkan nilai sebesar -91,35 dBm dan -91,62 dBm. Rata-rata tingkat sinyal dan rata-rata kekuatan sinyal efektif pada Single-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (SU-MIMO) -123,8 dBm sedangkan pada Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) sebesar -120,71 dBm, rata-rata rasio C/(I+N) pada SU-MIMO sebesar 3,79 dB sedangkan pada MU-MIMO 3,28 dB tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. SU-MIMO mendukung throughput tinggi untuk satu pengguna yaitu sebesar 15,082 Kbps, sedangkan MU-MIMO menunjukkan stabilitas yang lebih baik dengan throughput yang lebih konsisten yaitu sebesar 13,638 Kbps.
