Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara agraris, tetapi disayang saat ini semakin sedikit generasi muda yang mau terjun di bidang pertanian. Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Pertanian petani muda di Indonesia yang berusia 20-39 tahun hanya sekitar 2,7 juta orang yang artinya hanya sekitar 8 persen dari total 33,4 juta orang petani. Untuk mewujudkan cita-cita Indonesia Lumbung Pangan Dunia tahun 2045 sangat pentingnya mengajak generasi muda atau kaum milenial untuk terjun dan menekuni usaha pertanian. Hal tersebut secara mikro juga tampak di dalam minat para pemuda untuk terjun ke bidang pertanian di Dusun Ngentak, Bulakrejo, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Para pemuda perlu didekati dengan fakta bahwa pertanian tidak identik dengan terbelakang, tetapi dapat pula menarik dan modern dengan mengimplementasikan teknologi kekinian. Sehingga di dalam program pengabdian ini akan dilakukan implementasi dan sosialisasi smart farming hidroponik berbasis Internet of Thing (IoT) di. Perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi teknologi pertanian cerdas atau smart farming agar bisa peningkatan efisiensi produksi, kualitas dan kontinuitas produk-produk pertanian terutama hortikuktura. Selain itu penerapan smart farming juga akan menarik generasi milenial untuk tidak malu menggeluti bidang pertanian. Berbagai macam sistem hidroponik akan dikenalkan baik itu sistem sumbu (WICK) deep flow technique (DFT), Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), sistem rakit apung (Floating Hydroponics System FHS), dan lainnya. Masyarakat juga perlu diedukasi untuk mengetahui parameter-parameter penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman hidroponik seperti nilai pH, nilai EC (electrical conductivity), suhu nutrisi, dan kadar oksigen. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan antusias masyarakat terutama generasi milenial untuk menerapkan smart farming hidroponik.

Abstract

In this digital age, most aspects of life require an electric supply. The availability of electrical power is very critical to maintaining the continuity of the system in various applications. To maintain system continuity, the Energy Monitoring and Control of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) between the Grid and Solar Panel is proposed. The system consists of an Automatic Transfer Switch, Home Solar Power Plant, and Automatic Charging. The function of the monitoring system is to monitor the voltage, current, and power across the device, the operation mode of the ATS, and the State of Charge (SoC) of the battery. The control system is to control the operation mode of ATS according to the energy source selected by the user on the Internet of Things (IoT) interface. The results show that the system can successfully monitor solar panel conditions, AC output, and battery's State of Charge through Blynk IoT. The ATS works automatically with a switching delay of 20ms to 26ms, while on the user's command, the average switching delay is 303.33ms to activate the relay and 185ms to deactivate the relay.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia sudah berada pada era digital dan revolusi industri 4.0, yang berhubungan dengan Internet dan teknologi digital. Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang pesat khususnya internet menjadikan pekerjaan lebih ringan. Dengan kemampuan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan dipadukan kesadaran literasi di era digital maka masyarakat akan mampu menggunakan TIK untuk hal-hal yang positif dan bermanfaat serta terhindar dari hal-hal yang negatif. Namun banyak masyarakat yang belum bisa menggunakan TIK seperti membuat dokumen, desain dasar, dan pemakaian internet. Untuk itu perlu digencarkan pelatihan-pelatihan TIK untuk masyarakat. Pelatihan ini berkerjasama dengan Yayasan Hubbul Khoir yang terletak di Dukuh Ngentak, Bulakrejo, Sukoharjo. Pada pelatihan desain dengan menggunakan aplikasi Inkscape. Aplikasi Inkscape dipilih karena aplikasi ini gratis dan sangat popular untuk saat ini. Pelatihan desain ini telah terlaksana pada tanggal 12-16 September 2020. Karena masih pandemic Covid-19, pelatihan diadakan secara online lewat Whatsapp, Telegram dan Zoom. Peserta menjadi paham dan mengetahui seluk beluk internet dan penggunaan desain sesuai dengan modul/ materi yang telah diberikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merancang jaringan 4G menggunakan frekuensi 700 Mhz dengan bandwidth 20 Mhz di kawasan Kroya, Cilacap seluas 31,636 km2. Model propagasi yang digunakan adalah Okumura-Hatta. Simulasi prediksi coverage menggunakan Software Atoll 3,4 yang menggunakan frekuensi 700 Mhz. didapatkan jumlah Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) sebanyak 25. Berdasarkan jumlah Base Tranceiver Station (BTS) tersebut, maka dilanjutkan dengan mensimulasikan dengan parameter-parameter penelitian yang telah ditentukan. Rata-rata tingkat sinyal (Coverage by Signal) pada SU-MIMO dan MU-MIMO didapatkan nilai sebesar -91,35 dBm dan -91,62 dBm. Rata-rata tingkat sinyal dan rata-rata kekuatan sinyal efektif pada Single-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (SU-MIMO) -123,8 dBm sedangkan pada Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) sebesar -120,71 dBm, rata-rata rasio C/(I+N) pada SU-MIMO sebesar 3,79 dB sedangkan pada MU-MIMO 3,28 dB tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. SU-MIMO mendukung throughput tinggi untuk satu pengguna yaitu sebesar 15,082 Kbps, sedangkan MU-MIMO menunjukkan stabilitas yang lebih baik dengan throughput yang lebih konsisten yaitu sebesar 13,638 Kbps.

Abstract

Air transport has become a major attraction for scientists in the last decade, to carry out developments in the fields of firefighting, military, and commercial purposes. A quadcopter is a helicopter with four rotors. There are four arms connected to the main control and each arm has a motor with a rotor. In this study, the position control of a tower control is presented. A Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is proposed, and it performance is compared with PID control. The hardware implementation test shows that FLC is superior to PID. The hardware testing shows that the settling time of the FLC control response is 0.5s while the PID control response is 1.2s. That means FLC settling time is faster by 58.33% compared to PID.

Abstract

The development of Outcome Based Education (OBE) Information System is done as a solution to academic problems related to the achievement of graduate learning for students. In addition, the OBE system is a form of effort to improve academic quality in order to be able to monitor and measure the development of student learning outcomes in a college study program. The Outcome Based Education system includes all grades processing based on Course Learning Outcomes which is related to Graduates Learning Outcomes so that the outcomes of each student can be measured. This information system is developed by the Rapid Application Development method, and uses the Yii2 Framework with the concept of MVC (Model, View, Controller) where system programming is separated based on application components, such as: manipulating data, controllers, and user interfaces. The use of the RAD method and the Yii2 Framework in making applications can be done quickly and in a structured manner making it easier for future developments. The developed system has been successfully tested and applied in the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Civil Engineering Study Program and Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and planned to be implemented in all study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University. This information system can be applied not only in the engineering faculty of Sebelas Maret University but also outside the university which requires an information system to measure the learning outcomes of graduates.

Abstract

Single electron transistor (SET) has high potential for the development of quantum computing technologies in order to provide low power consumption electronics. For that purpose, many studies have been conducted to develop SET using dopants as quantum dots (QD). The working principle of SET basically is a single electron tunneling one by one through tunnel junction based on the coulomb blockade effect. This research will simulate various configurations of triple quantum dots single electron transistors (TQD-SET) using SIMON 2.0 with an experimental approach of MOSFET with dopants QD. The configurations used are series, parallel, and triangle configuration. The mutual capacitance (Cm), tunnel junctions (TJ), and temperature values of TQD-SET configurations are varied. The I-V characteristics are observed and analyzed for typical source-drain voltage (Vsd). it is found that the TQD series requires larger Vsd than parallel or triangular TQDs. On the other hands, the current in parallel TQD tends to be stable even though Cm is changed, and the current in the TQD triangle is strongly influenced by the Cm. By comparing these three configurations, it is observed that the tunnelling rate is higher for parallel TQD due to higher probability current moves through three dots by applying Vds.

Abstract

Paper currency recognition is important for automatic payment system. The paper performs a nominal paper detection process using image processing with canny method implemented in python programming language. The canny method is used to find edge features in the nominal currency. By using template matching of image reference, region of interest (ROI) of nominal value is extracted so that it can be used in any orientation of  paper currency image. The ROI of nominal image is processed by canny edge method and spatial transformation to strengthen the image features and being processed by template matching to decide nominal currency. The study has successfully tested nominal value of 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 20000, 50000, and 100000 Indonesia banknotes which then the currency value will appear in the value variable in python.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has spurred the development of the world of telecommunications. The development of telecommunications can be seen from the number of cellular service users supported by technological infrastructure in the form of BTS (Base Transmission Station). But in its development, there are social problems in the form of resistance from the community around BTS, one of the things that people worry about is the danger of radiation from BTS. This could be due to a lack of socialization and knowledge from the community. This study aims to provide education as well as quantitative evidence regarding radiation from BTS in Bulakrejo which is compared with safety standards from International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and Ministry of Communication and Information Indonesia. The result of investigation shows that received Power Radiation in near Base Station is safe according to regulatory standard.
