Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the mistakes made by students in solving math word problems on equations and quadratic functions and their causal factors based on the Fong Schematic Model. The research was conducted at St. Catholic Middle School. Rosa de Lima Tondano for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out using tests and interviews. The research subjects were class IX students of St. Catholic Middle School. Rosa de Lima Tondano. The results of the research are based on the first level of the Fong Schematic Model, namely the E1 scheme has no completion, E2 uses irrelevant procedures, E3 the schematic is incomplete without errors, E4 the schematic is incomplete with errors, E5 the schema is complete with errors. The results of the research are based on the second level of the Fong Schematic Model, namely mathematical operations, mathematical themes and psychological factors. Factors causing the mistakes made by students are: 1) lack of understanding of how to solve problems, 2) lack of thoroughness in solving questions, 3) lack of understanding of how to factor quadratic equations, 4) rush in solving questions, 5) forgetting how to solve problems, 6) lack of skills in applying material to problems and 7) decreased student ability during the co-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of smartphone use on mathematics learning outcomes for SMA Negeri 2 Tondano students in grade ten. This investigation employs a survey methodology. This investigation was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano during the even semester of the academic year 2022/2023. This study's population consisted of all pupils in class X, which consisted of two classes and 58 students; questionnaires and documentation were used to collect data. The questionnaire provides information regarding Smartphone Use. In contrast, the documentation exposes the mathematics learning outcomes of grade X students from SMA Negeri 2 Tondano during the even semester of the academic year 2022/2023. Simple Linear Regression Analysis will be utilized to test the hypothesis in this investigation. Using the regression equation Y = 40.443 + 0.517X, with Fcount = 15.076 > Ftable = 4.10 and Sig value. = 0.000 alpha = 0.05; and the correlation coefficient value of 0.533, it was determined that there was a positive effect of Smartphone use on the1mathematics Learning1Outcomes of Class X1Students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Thus, it can be concluded that smartphone use has a 28.4% impact1on the mathematics learning1outcomes of pupils in class X at SMAaNegeri 2 Tondano.

This studies is motivated through problems determined in learning mathematics that are observed from various factors, one in every of which is the dearth of use of media. The purpose of this observe changed into to supply mastering video media products on cube and block cloth with a geogebra-assisted task primarily based mastering (PjBL) model in magnificence VIII SMP Negeri Satap Molobog which is valid, practical and effective. The ADDIE development methodology (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) is used in this form of study, which is referred to as research and development (R&D). 16 kids from SMP Satap Negeri Molobog's eighth grade served as the study's participants. Interviews, questionnaires, learning assessment worksheets in the form of learning implementation plans (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD), and outcomes evaluation questions were all included in the study tools and documentation, data analysis to create learning media products, and knowledge of the valid, prtical, and effective of the generated goods. the share of validity of the consequences of the media professional's evaluation became 92.374% and the share of the result of the material professional's evaluation turned into 94.78% with a completely valid category. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran daring dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMKN 2 Kotamobagu semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian.ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan siswa kelas XI sebagai objek penelitian. Kelas menyukai topik yang pada dasarnya berhubungan dengan pembelajaran daring. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket dengan 22 pernyataan pada empat indikator keefektifan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis statistika deskriptif dengan menggunakan rumus persentase menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika Online yang diterapkan di SMKN 2 Kotamobagu termasuk dalam kategori efektif. Hal ini tercermin dari empat indikator keefektifan e-learning pada mata pelajaran matematika, dimana. Kualitas Pembelajaran, Kesesuaian Jenjang Pembelajaran, Insentif dan Waktu sebanyak 76,625% pada kategori Efektif.

Abstract

Pembelajaran selama Coronavirus sangat mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Hindari instruksi tatap muka bila memungkinkan. Sehingga diperlukan proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi yang sah selama pembelajaran dan latihan pembelajaran di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi subyektif dengan praktis tidak ada kontrol sumber informasi dari analis. Eksplorasi subyektif adalah sistem pemeriksaan yang menghasilkan informasi ilustratif dalam wacana atau karangan dari penghibur yang dikenal. Kemudian spesialis menemukan sumber untuk menguji kepercayaan dan keabsahan informasi yang diperoleh. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik matematika dan sumber triangulasi adalah IPS. Sehingga ditemukan bahwa siklus penilaian, metodologi penilaian, model penilaian dalam latihan pembelajaran selama pandemi berjalan dengan baik secara keseluruhan, meskipun ada sedikit perbedaan berdasarkan apa yang biasa digunakan. Namun, hal ini tidak mengurangi kualitas latihan dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang digunakan selama pandemi. Pembelajaran jarak jauh terus menjadi sukses dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan aturan evaluasi yang diatur dan poin demi poin. Penilaian pembelajaran jarak jauh diselenggarakan sehubungan dengan program pendidikan krisis Coronavirus, namun tetap dapat disesuaikan dan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan siswa. Sehingga hasil yang didapat adalah evaluasi pembelajaran matematika di masa pandemi virus Corona ini sangat bagus, berbobot, dan dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Penilaian dalam penelitian sampai saat ini belum dapat digunakan karena penilaian ini merupakan pengembangan dari model evaluasi yang sudah ada. Kemudian evaluasi ini juga dapat digunakan untuk siswa yang memiliki kendala dalam pembelajaran tatap muka seperti jarak, kesehatan atau hambatan lain yang membuat siswa tidak dapat melakukan pembelajaran secara dekat dan personal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep matematika apa saja yang terdapat pada pakaian adat suku Mori. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, instrumen penelitian ini adalah human instrument yaitu peneliti sendiri yang berhubungan langsung dengan penelitian dan berperan sebagai pengumpul data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mencari dan menyusun data secara sistematis yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu konsep matematika yang terdapat pada pakaian adat Suku Mori yang berupa konsep geometri yaitu antara lain sudut lancip, sudut siku-siku, sudut tumpul, persegi, belah ketupat, trapesium, segitiga, lingkaran dan refleksi. Konsep-konsep matematika yang terdapat pada pakaian adat suku Mori tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperkenalkan dan memahami konsep matematika melalui budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penerapan model dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai mengakibatkan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik rendah. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya diterapkan model PBL dengan pendekatan PMR dan yang tidak menerapkan model PBL dengan pendekatan PMR pada materi SPLDV. Digunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan subjek penelitian kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan total seluruhannya 46 siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Remboken. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian berupa Posttest Only Control Group Design dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar, selanjutnya melakukan analisis data dengan melakukan uji t yaitu uji perbedaan rata-rata dua kelompok. Dengan perhitungan uji t diperoleh hasil nilai . Sehingga tolak dan terima , artinya rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dalam proses pembelajaran menerapkan model PBL dengan pendekatan PMR lebih dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menerapkan model PBL dengan pendekatan PMR pada materi SPLDV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bitung pada materi teorema phytagoras. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-test and post-test one group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu 20 orang siswa kelas VIII.A yang diajarkan menggunakan model PjBL dan 20 orang siswa kelas VIII.C yang diajarkan menggunakan model DI. Penelitiannini menggunakannrancangan penelitian berbentuk pretest-posttest control grouppdesign. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil pretest-posttest kemudian dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebelum dilakukan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji normalitas diperoleh Lhitung = 0,1238 < Ltabel = 0,1920 berarti data skor pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen berdistribusi normal, sedangkan hasil uji normalitas kelas kontrol diperoleh Lhitung = 0,1863< Ltabel = 0,1920 yang berarti data skor pretest-posttest kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung = 1,250082 < Ftabel = 2,168252 sehingga terima H0. Jadiivarians dari kedua kelas, yaitu kelasseksperimen dan kelasskontrol adalah homogen. Hasilluji hipotesis dengan taraf nyata α=0,05 diperoleh thitung = 7,148892 > ttabel = 1,685954. Dengan demikian dapattdisimpulkan bahwaarata-rata hasillbelajar siswa yang diajarkannmenggunakan model PjBL lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata hasillbelajar siswa yang diajarkannmenggunakan model DI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the average difference in the learning outcomes of straight-line equations material for students who are taught using the Problem Based-Learning model and the average learning outcomes for straight-line equations material for students who are taught using the Direct Instruction model. The design of this research is the Posttest Only Control Design. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tahuna in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were taken into 2 classes, namely class VIII B as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. Data collection was carried out by giving tests in the form of questions to both classes after being given treatment. The research data were analyzed using t-test statistics and the calculation results showed that the t_count=5.48 > t_table=1.68. Because the value of t_count > t_table then reject H0. Thus it can be concluded that the average student learning outcomes straight line equation material experimental class is more than the average student learning outcomes control class
