Abstract

Mikhael Rian Vernando Lioso. 22504061.. The Relationship of Self-Confidence in Learning Mathematics with Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes. Department of Mathematics. FMIPA. UNIMA. 2023. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method. The subjects of this study were all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Suluun Tareran in the 2023/2024 school year with a population of 40 students and a sample of 37 students. Self-confidence data is obtained from a questionnaire distributed to students, while learning outcomes data is obtained through documentation of odd semester midterm exam results in the 2023/2024 school year. The data analysis technique uses a simple correlation technique, with α = 0.05. as for the results of the research obtained is that there is a positive relationship between self-confidence and student mathematics learning outcomes by 29.7%, which means significant

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether using the Direct Learning Model Through the Mathematical Game Method could exceed the KKM value determined by the school, namely 70. The population in this study was all students of class IX SMP Negeri 4 Suluun Tareran and the sample in this study was IX SMP Negeri 4 Suluun Tareran. The design of this research is One-Shoot Case Study. Data obtained from student learning outcomes test, namely the final test (posttest). After the data was obtained, a normality test was performed using the Liliefors test. From the test, it was obtained that and Because the posttest scores in class IX are normally distributed. Then, a hypothesis test was carried out using a t-test with a significance level of 0,05, the results obtained were dan , then so reject and accept which is the result of learning using direct learning models through the method of math games on the material. A number with a rank greater than the KKM value determined by the school is 70, with an average learning outcome of 77.52 which is greater than the KKM score.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze high school students' errors in solving trigonometry comparison problems based on Newman's theory. The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The subjects of this research were class XG students at SMA Negeri 1 Ratahan with a total of 28 students. The instrument used in this research was 4 trigonometry comparison essay questions. The results of this research show that the most frequent errors made by students in solving trigonometry comparison questions are errors in writing the final answer with an error percentage of 40.17%, followed by process skills errors with an error percentage of 28.57%, then transformation errors with the percentage of errors was 9.82%, and the percentage of errors in understanding was 9.82%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out what factors hinder the learning of class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Tatapaan for the 2023/2024 academic year on the material Systems of Linear Equations and Inequalities in One Variable. The population and sample of this research is 40. This research is a quantitative descriptive research that uses survey methods and data collection using research instruments in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire created had 24 statement items. The results of the research show that the internal aspects of learning barriers in the One Variable System of Linear Equations and Inequalities material fall into the Moderately Obstructed category (65.74%), with the lowest indicator being student readiness which falls into the Quite Impeded category (48%). Furthermore, the external aspect of barriers to student learning in the material Systems of Linear Equations and Inequalities with One Variable was included in the Moderately Obstructed category (68.6%), with the lowest indicator being Family, which was included in the Moderately Obstructed category (55.5%).

Abstract

The background of this research was found in students of SMP N II Tondano Class VII E who had learning difficulties in learning mathematics on one variable linear equation material through an online learning system. These problems make researchers interested in studying this research further. This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by students in learning mathematics in PLSV material through an online learning system. This type of research is qualitative research. The data was obtained by giving a story problem description test and conducting student interviews. The research instrument was to provide the story and several interview questions for students online. The study results show that in learning mathematics in PLSV material through an online learning system, students experience difficulties memorizing equation formulas, and arithmetic operations, changing questions into mathematical forms, and difficulties understanding the material provided by the teacher. These problems are caused by 1) lack of interest and motivation in student learning, 2) not having a severe attitude in participating in online learning, 3) student concentration does not focus on learning material

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine if the STEAM-based Project Based Learning learning model improves students' mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of social arithmetic in comparison to conventional learning models. Class VII A, who utilized the Conventional model, and Class VII C, who utilized the STEAM-based Project Based Learning learning model, served as the research subjects. Pretest Posttest Experiment Group Design is the research design for this quasi-experimental study. The two classes with 20 and 21 students, respectively, that comprised the research sample were VII A and VII C. Both classes were normal and homogeneous. A t-test is used for the data analysis test, and values are rejected before being accepted. As a result, students' learning outcomes have improved when employing the STEAM-based Project Based Learning learning model. Keywords: project-based learning, STEAM, learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk yaitu untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa SMP Negeri 6 Tondano dalam menyelesaikan soal bilangan berpangkat berdasarkan Taksonomi Solo. Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes yang diikuti oleh 20 orang siswa dan dilakukan wawancara terhadap 5 orang siswa untuk mewakili setiap tahapan jawaban tes siswa berdasarkan Taksonomi Solo.. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah persentase tahapan Prastruktural sebesar 10%; persentase tahapan Unistruktural sebesar 10%; persentase tahapan Multistruktural sebesar 55%; persentase tahapan Rasional sebesar 20%; dan persentase tahapan Exented Abstract sebesar 5%. Dimana kesalahan yang paling dominan dilakukan oleh siswa dibanding dengan lainya termasuk dalam tahapan Multistruktural yakni 55%.

Abstract

The availability of learning media that can stimulate interest and student learning outcomes is very important in learning. The purpose of this research was to find out the Development of Powtoon-Based Learning Media in Sets. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Remboken. The type of research used is research and development or Research and Development. The resulting media prototype was developed using the modified ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and development). The research results obtained from developing powtoon-based learning media in the set are expressed by an average validation score of 4.19 by media experts and 4.6 by material experts. This learning media meets valid criteria and can be used in learning.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman siswa disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran dalam pengajaran Teorema Pythagoras, yang masih didominasi pengajaran yang berpusat pada guru daripada pengajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian eksperimen dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas yang diajar dengan model Problem-Based Learning dengan kelas yang diajar dengan metodologi Direct Instruction. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas homogen, masing-masing dengan 15 siswa. Satu kelas ditetapkan sebagai kelompok eksperimen, sedangkan kelas lainnya dijadikan sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data tersebut digunakan untuk menilai tingkat kompetensi yang dicapai melalui ujian akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajar dengan model Problem-Based Learning mempunyai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 80,33, sedangkan siswa yang diajar dengan model Direct Instruction memperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 69,00. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan Uji Beda Rata-rata Dua Kelompok Tidak Berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran melalui model Problem Based Learning menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran melalui model Direct Teaching.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran matematika membutuhkan pemikiran analitis yang mendalam dan penghayatan yang utuh terhadap urutan pemecahan masalah matematika. Ketika pembelajar dihadapkan pada sebuah tantangan, kecakapan kognitif sangat penting untuk mengatasinya. Selain itu teknik pengajaran yang diterapkan sampai sekarang masih memanfaatkan teknik yang klasik, yaitu melalui teknik ceramah dan tanya jawab, dan materi yang diaplikasikan masih datar dan belum bersumber pada etnomatematika. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika yang didasarkan pada etnomatematika pada motif kain batik khas Minahasa. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan yang mengadopsi model 4-D dari Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Data validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mencapai persentase 87,5%, dikategorikan sangat layak, berdasarkan penilaian dosen Pendidikan matematika, dan 90,91%, juga dikategorikan sangat layak, berdasarkan penilaian guru matematika. Hasil survei tanggapan siswa menunjukkan kategori sangat layak dengan persentase 87%. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa serta rasa cinta akan budaya
