Abstract

As the online media dissemination, website has the advantages that it can be accessed freely, without limits, wherever, whoever, and whenever. However, the advantages of the website is sometimes not in line with its simplicity. So it becomes important that the organization can make an assessment of the quality of the website that they are used, whether its website has fulfilled what is perceived by the user. This paper reviews studies user perception of desktop and mobile service website used qualitative methods adapted to WebQual and User Experience approach. The expected outcome of this research is knowing the user's perception of the services and information available on the website along with the possibility of desktop and mobile gap arising from differences in the two services.

Abstract

This study aims to classify and provide an overview of the factors that influence the adoption of IT in multinational companies and the impact of IT adoption on the performance of multinational companies. The data for this study were obtained from literature searches published from 2009 to 2021. The searches were conducted on scientific journals published internationally in Elsevier or Science Direct, Emerald Insight, Willey, Taylor and Francis, and the Academy of Taiwan Information Systems Research. The search results related to themes and variables, obtained about 150 articles and selected 40 articles relevant to IT adoption in multinational companies and the impact of IT adoption on the performance of multinational companies. The results showed that technological factors, organizational factors, and environmental factors influenced IT adoption, although technological factors and organizational factors influenced IT adoption more than environmental factors. In addition, IT adoption has a positive impact on the performance of multinational companies, especially economic performance and operational performance. Even so, several studies say that IT adoption does not have a positive impact on the performance of multinational companies. The results of this study also show that to find out the factors that influence IT adoption in multinational companies is to use the TOE framework. IT adoption also has a positive impact on the performance of multinational companies, especially in terms of economic performance and operational performance.

Abstract

The citizen's complaint handling system aims to make citizens easily file a complaint against the condition and development of the city so that it can be followed up immediately, but the implementation of this Smart City program is less than optimal. The real condition shows that there are still many citizens who have not used this application. This study aims to evaluate what factors influence the citizen's intention to use the complaint handling application. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This study conducted in-depth interviews with six research informants, then the results of the interviews were tested and analyzed, and the interview data was encoded. The results of this study found factors that influence the intention to use complaint handling applications. These factors are citizen awareness, social influence, perceived usefulness, and trust. The expected result is a new model that can be implemented to improve the use of complaint handling applications and similar e-government services.

Abstract

The research aimed to develop a model for managing change consisting of detailed processes and activities that include changes in technology, organizations, and individuals in the implementation of information systems. The change management model developed in the research was used as a guideline for managing changes that occur when implementing changes in information systems in higher education. This change management model was developed using the action research method to obtain a model that fits the practical conditions. The model included the process and details of activities which were obtained in two ways, namely by identifying the success factors of implementing information systems in previous studies and interviewing information system implementers in tertiary institutions to obtain practical change management activities. The proposed change management model has been verified and validated where the results show that the process in the model is in accordance with expert theory. The results of using this model indicate that the management of changes in information systems can be carried out in a clearer and more structured.

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the information systems’ implementation. The research used the modified Human Organization Technology-Fit (HOT-Fit) as the model to measure information systems’ effectiveness and efficiency. Each indicator of the HOT-Fit model is mapped into two categories, namely effectiveness and efficiency. Data collection was conducted through interviews with the users of population administration information system (SIAK), and observation of activities at the public office. The data were analyzed qualitatively by assessing the achievement of each indicator of effectiveness and efficiency found in the interview and observation. It is found that effectiveness indicators are level of use, attitude, perceived usefulness, communication, availability, security, completeness, accuracy, timeliness, empathy, and transparency. Meanwhile, indicators to measure efficiency are users, training, staff support, ease of use, ease of learning, response time, access to technical support, and quick responsiveness. The research also expands the scope of the HOT-Fit model in evaluating information systems. Practically, the research can be a reference for evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of information system implementation in the public sector. It also can be used to improve the achievement of indicators that have not achieved maximum results to improve services to the community.

Abstract

Failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA) was an essential technique in risk management. Various studies have revealed the shortcomings of FMEA, one of them is about subjectivity and the consistency of the results issues. This research contributed to the FMEA improvement as the improvement Model to minimize traditional FMEA consistency issues. Based on previous research, the present study will discuss in more detail the FMEA improvement method. The research questions formulated for this research are: (1) How was the use of the FMEA improvement model in the case study; and (2) What were the implications of the FMEA improvement model. The FMEA Improvement Model consisted of four main stages, namely: (1) the determination of risk assessment requirements; (2) risk identification; (3) risk analysis; and (4) evaluation and the recommendation control documentation. From the results of risk level categorization, one risk was at the highest level. This risk was classified as severe because it often happens almost every day. Two risks were at the medium to the high level, three risks were at the medium level, 13 risks were at the low to medium level, and 18 risks were low. Therefore, this paper's contribution was to guide researchers or IT experts to apply the FMEA improvement.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2018, pengguna media sosial di Indonesia mencapai 49% dari total penduduk Indonesia yaitu 130 juta dari total 265,4 juta populasi. Perilaku upload foto, video, atau tulisan yang berisikan informasi pribadi dapat menyebabkan pengguna berada dalam posisi yang berbahaya dan berpotensi hilangnya privasi pengguna. Banyak dari kasus kriminal dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan. Pelaku mengambil foto dan informasi nomor seluler korban melalui sosial media dan mengedit foto korban menjadi foto vulgar untuk mengancam dan memeras korban. Kasus penyalahgunaan informasi disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran untuk menjaga privasi informasi di media sosial. Social engineering merupakan salah satu teknik yang perlu diwaspadai dalam menjaga keamanan informasi. Social engineering berfokus pada bagian terlemah pada sistem jaringan komputer, yaitu manusia. Teknik ini berusaha mengambil informasi pribadi dengan melakukan manipulasi psikologis melalui mekanisme interaksi sosial. Selain itu, dalam pelaksanaan social engineering, pelaku meminta langsung apa yang diinginkan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdi melakukan sosialisasi mengenai berbagai teknik social engineering, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta upaya pencegahannya kepada masyarakat. Adanya kebijakan WFH di era pandemi COVID-19 saat ini mengakibatkan penggunaan gadget dan media sosial semakin massif. Sebagian besar peserta berpendapat bahwa materi yang disampaikan menarik. Hal ini membuat peserta sangat antusias dan menyampaikan cukup banyak pertanyaan. Setelah mengikuti sosialisasi, peserta menjadi lebih berhati-hati jika hendak membagikan foto atau informasi yang mungkin mengandung informasi pribadi di media sosial.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) menjadi roda penggerak ekonomi masyarakat, terutama masyarakat ekonomi menengah dan ekonomi bawah. Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) memperlihatkan, jumlah UMKM di Indonesia terus mengalami perkembangan dari tahun 2015, 2016 hingga tahun 2017. Semakin meningkatnya jumlah UMKM menjadikan pelaku UMKM dituntut menerapkan berbagai macam strategi bisnis untuk dapat mempertahankan bisnis yang dijalankan. Strategi bisnis yang dilakukan mengarah pada pengembangan usaha dalam mencapai pangsa pasar yang lebih luas dan mendapatkan lebih banyak konsumen. Penerapan teknologi informasi (TI) merupakan salah satu cara yang banyak digunakan oleh UMKM dalam mendukung pengelolaan proses bisnisnya. Pengelolaan pemanfaatan TI dalam suatu bisnis tidak terbatas pada ketersediaan tools yang ada, tetapi memerlukan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkompeten dalam penguasaan TI. Namun, sayangnya belum semua UMKM memiliki SDM yang mendukung untuk pengelolaan TI. Keterbatasan SDM yang dimiliki UMKM bisa disebabkan karena ketidakmampuan pengelola UMKM dalam memanfaatkan penggunaan TI. Konveksi kerudung ‘Al- Kattar’ merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha yang bisa disebut dengan UMKM. Permasalahan utama yang selalu dihadapi oleh pemilik konveksi adalah apabila jumlah pesanan kerudung dalam kondisi sepi. Pesanan dalam jumlah sedikit berdampak pada beberapa aspek, diantaranya: aspek perekrutan karyawan dan aspek penggajian. Berdasarkan indentifikasi permasalahan, akar permasalahan tersebut muncul karena pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh pihak konveksi Al- Kattar masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Produk jadi yang ditawarkan masih dari mulut ke mulut. Padahal terdapat potensi SDM masyarakat sekitar Al- Kattar seperti ibu rumah tangga dan remaja pengangguran yang mampu menjahit, memiliki smartphone dan memiliki semangat tinggi untuk bekerja. Namun, memang belum banyak SDM yang memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memasarkan produk melalui smartphone. Permasalahan terhadap pemasaran dilakukan dengan cara adopsi sosial media yang ada dan saat ini banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat. Pemasaran melalui sosial media, dapat memberikan manfaat pada pengembangan usaha dalam mencapai pangsa pasar yang lebih luas dan mendapatkan lebih banyak konsumen. Hasil proses adopsi yang dilakukan menunjukkan terdapat 5 tahapan, yaitu tahapan pengetahuan, tahapan persuasi, tahapan keputusan, tahapan implementasi, dan tahapan konfirmasi. Dari penerima adopsi juga dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 bagian, yaitu early adoption, early majority, late majority, dan lagard. Dari hasil pelatihan ini juga menghasilkan berupa: buku modul/materi strategi penjualan secara online melalui social media, akun media pemasaran secara online dan laporan evaluasi dan dokumentasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a phenomenon that provides the right demand and attitude for organizations in digital optimization. Digital transformation encourages organizations to adapt to technological developments as a strategic step to support organizational sustainability and win market competition. The purpose of this article is presenting a systematic literature review of the development of measuring the maturity of digital transformation. The methodology used in this article is systematic literature review approach with article collection strategy that discuss digital transformation and digital maturity measurement and is sourced from reputable journals indexed by Scopus and or the Web of Science. There are 1385 articles appear when searching for digital transformation, out of 1385 there are 30 articles relevant to the topic of digital transformation and digital maturity measurement with the range of 2018-2022. The findings of this systematic literature review have 6 levels and 4 dimensions in measuring the maturity of digital transformation in the industrial sector (large, medium, small), there are 8 levels and 7 dimensions in measuring the maturity of digital transformation in health sector, there are 6 levels and 6 dimensions in measuring the maturity of digital transformation in the banking sector, and there are 5 levels and 5 dimensions in measuring the maturity of digital transformation in the education sector. This article supplies valuable insights on the topic of measuring the maturity of digital transformation and can be an opportunity for further research such as evaluating, developing empirically testing in different sectors of the economy in different regions.

Abstract

Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi telah menerbitkan peraturan No. 5 Tahun 2020 tentang pedoman manajemen risiko sistem pemerintahan berbasis elektronik. Peraturan tersebut haris diimplementasikan oleh seluruh pemerintah daerah beserta seluruh OPD yang ada didalamnya. Namun, hingga saat ini masih terdapat kendala dalam mengikuti pedoman peraturan tersebut karena keterbatasan OPD dalam memahami. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam implementasi Manajemen Risiko terkait Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik di Pemerintah Kota XYZ. Fokus kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman OPD terkait risiko yang mungkin timbul selama proses implementasi SPBE. Metode pendampingan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu dengan melalui workshop terkait manajemen risiko SPBE dan dilanjutkan dengan meninjau pengisian form manajemen risiko SPBE yang telah dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan kemajuan positif dengan sebagian besar OPD aktif mengisi formulir manajemen risiko. Namun, temuan juga mengidentifikasi beberapa OPD yang masih memerlukan pemahaman lebih mendalam terkait konsep manajemen risiko karena pengisian yang dilakukan belum lengkap untuk seluruh formulir manajemen risiko SPBE. Oleh karena itu, saran yang diajukan melibatkan penguatan pendidikan dan pelatihan khusus, penyusunan materi penyuluhan yang disesuaikan, peningkatan komunikasi, dan pemantauan berkelanjutan. Dengan saran tersebut, diharapkan program pendampingan ini dapat mendukung efektivitas manajemen risiko SPBE di Pemerintah Kota XYZ, menuju tata kelola pemerintahan yang lebih baik dan transparan
