Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan , pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan danpengaruh  lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Kebun Raya Sukorambi (TBS) Jember. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian  dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel karyawan Kebun Raya Sukorambi (TBS) Jember sebanyak 63 responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah model analisis regresi linier berganda. Untuk menganalisis hubungan kausal antara variabel digunakan  uji hipotesis dengan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier berganda diketahui bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,458, artinya sikap dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh kuat terhadap kehidupan organisasi, terutama kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Pelaksanaan tugas mereka Sedangkan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,065 berarti bahwa variabel motivasi dapat meningkatkan moral, kepuasan kerja, produktivitas kerja karyawan dan menciptakan suasana dan hubungan kerja yang baik. Keterbukaan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja 0,076 berarti bahwa disiplin kerja sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi dengan karyawan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemauan untuk mematuhi semua peraturan perusahaan dan norma kekuatan sosial, sedangkan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja 0,450 berarti bahwa lingkungan kerja dapat meningkatkan toleransi dalam tim, motivasi untuk melakukan kerja ekstra, dan menghormati semangat peraturan di perusahaan.Kata Kunci: leadership, motivation, discipline work, work environment and performance.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the perception of the batik craftmen  toward self-help groupsthat had been advocated for development and strengthening the center of the batik industry in Tuban District.This study is a descriptive research. The respondents were determined by snowball sampling method consisting of 84 batik craftmen  in the batik industry.  Both qualitative and quantitative research approaches were used  in this study. Aside from the secondary data, the primary data was collected by ethnographic (unstructured and semi-structured interviews, and direct observation) and participatory methods (key informant interviews).The result  of the study shows  that  the perception of the batik craftmen toward the contribution of self-help groups  for development and strengthening the center of the batik industry in  Tuban District  is categorized “moderate”.  Therefore, improvement in the aspects of  raw materials supply, technology applied, and business management in  the  business performance  of batik  industries  are still needed.

Abstract

This research is an explanatory research conducted at elementary school in Ex City Administrative of Jember. This research method uses structural equation modeling. There are 16 primary schools that serve as research sites with a population of 128 teachers. The sample in this research is 116 people. This research uses two stage sampling, where nonprobability sampling method that is purposive sampling is applied to determine research place and second stage when determining research sample.The results of this study indicate that the headmaster's transformational leadership style positively and significantly influence teacher performance with path coefficient 0,147, probability equal to 0,012, and CR value 2,892. The results of the study showed a positive and significant outcomes between the principal transformational leadership style to teacher motivation and teacher motivation to teacher innovation. Positive and insignificant results between the principal's transformational leadership style to teacher innovation. The result of the research which shows negative and not significant is teacher's motivation to teacher performance. While the results of teacher innovation testing to teacher performance showed a negative and significant influence. These results it can be concluded that the principal's transformational leadership style does not require intervening motivation and innovation of teacher variables to influence teacher performance..

Abstract

To develop and strengthen the small business sector, one important strategy is partnering with medium and large business sector through a partnership that is based on the principle of mutual need, mutually reinforcing and mutually beneficial. In general, this study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of a partnership for the empowerment of the poor in East Java. Based on the research, programs and activities that have been implemented are as follows: (a) Program for Community Empowerment; (B) Development Program Rural Economic Institute; (C) Community Participation Program In Village Building; and (d) Capacity Building Program Apparatus village government; Based on these results is the recommended that the partnership model from the perspective of the system at least, there are 3 types suitable to be applied in the community empowerment program in East Java province, namely: Vertical Linkage Backward, Forward Vertical and Horizontal Linkage Linkage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intellegence and organizational commitment on the employee performance fashion department in Roxy Square Mall Jember with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as intervening. The population in this study were all employees working at fasion department Roxy Square Mall Jember branch as much as 210 employees and the sample used was 138 respondents. The sampling technique uses probality sampling with simple random sampling method. The research model was tested by using the path analysis. The results of this study showed that the emotional intelligence and organizational commitment had a positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The emotional intelligence, organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) had a positive effect on the employee performance. Emotional intelligence and organizational commitment had an indirect effect on the employee performance through the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). When analyzed further, the percentage of direct effect was higher than the indirect effect, which showed that the mediating variable of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) had less effect on the employee performance. Abstract

Community Health service is the first level facility which enables promotive and preventive service to gain health. The administration of health service should be supported by qualified medical workers to support the function of community health service. Concerrning its function, the service is required to have at least five promotive and preventive workers including laboratory analyst, nutritionist, public health workers, and sanitary worker. The availability of medical human resources in Community Health service has not yet distributed evenly in Jember Regency. The recruitment of the health human resources in Jember still focuses on medical workers This research is a descriptive research using qualitative approach aiming at describing the availability of promotive and preventive workers in Community health service in Jember regency based on Minimum Resources Standard. The findings shows that out of 50 Health service 30 of them do not have analyst , 28 without nutritionist, 37 with no public health workers and 36 without sanitation workers , as shown by data from Health Office. The informant reveals that the uneven distribution of promotive and primitive workers is caused by (1) Health office zero recruitment for Health service, (2) the policy restriction for health service for utrititonist, (3) the limit of Health service budget for the recruitment. Abstract

In order to prevent skin disease among worker, both Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and hygiene personal play important role. The objective of this study is to analyse the correlation between PPE usage and hygiene personal toward skin disease among scavenger in TPA Pakusari – Jember. This study was observational analytics, with cross sectional design. The number of participants was 57 scavengers, consist of 36 female and 21 males. The statistical analysis used Cramer’s V by SPSS. The findings of this study is: 1) The PPE usage is correlated toward skin disease, 2) The hygiene personal is correlated toward skin disease. Keyword: skin disease, PPE utilising, hygiene personal

Abstract

The industry that has the potential to be developed and produce export-worthy products in Banyuwangi district is the coconut sugar processing industry. This industry is generally managed by craftsmen scattered in various remote rural areas. The partner of this activity is a group of coconut palm sugar craftsmen in the hamlet of Gumuk Agung, Gintangan village, Blimbingsari sub-district. Coconut sugar products produced by the Sari Manggar craftsman group are less able to develop as expected, the sugar produced is of low quality, the mold is not uniform and the marketing is local so that the welfare of the coconut farmers / craftsmen does not change much and their contribution to regional income is also low. The purpose of this activity is to improve the quality of coconut sugar through mold design and marketing of coconut sugar. Therefore, it is necessary to find a solution to engineer the mold design and improve promotion and marketing. The methods used in this activity are: 1) Observation; 2) Interview; 3)Training; 4) Sugar processing demonstration; and 5) Assistance in online promotion and marketing. The results of the activity show that the implementation of service can be carried out 100%, coconut sugar craftsmen Sari Manggar can produce coconut sugar in a cylindrical shape that weighs 100g/piece and is in a half ball shape, and coconut sugar craftsmen can do promotion and marketing online. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the direct and indirect effects of the work environment and organizational culture through job satisfaction on the work effectiveness of lecturers at UNIVERSITAS ABDURACHMAN SALEH SITUBONDO. This research was conducted on permanent lecturers who are still active at Abdurachman Saleh University, Situbondo. The number of respondents in this study were 89 people. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample in which the entire population in the study is sampled. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that (1) the work environment and organizational culture had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Locus of control and competency are factors that can affect employee performance. Organizational culture is one of the factors that can strengthen or weaken influence so that it acts as a moderating variable. This study aims to determine the influence of Locus of Control and Competence on Employee Performance and the influence of organizational culture in moderating the influence of Locus of Control and Competence on Employee Performance. This research is explanatory research with 42 respondents. Sampling using non-probablity sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is Moderated Regression Analysis. The results showed that Locus of Control and Competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational Culture is proven to moderate the influence of Locus of Control on employee performance and moderate the effect of Competence on Employee Performance at Telkomsel Branch Sidoarjo. Implementation of organizational culture in building employee self-management and competence is important in improving employee performance.
