This research aimed to (1) perform inventory career planning of students, and (2) measuring students career planning based on gender. Data analysis used Rasch model for 45 students with actual power measurement 0.9272652. The research findings showed (1) inventory career planning has been fit with the theoretic model, and (2) female student have a tendency to a higher career planning rather than male student. In the future, to measurement of studentâ€™s career planning by using this inventory can only produce a high measurement information for students who have a mediocre ability. Further, the researcher need to consider to eliminate item No. 12 in this inventory due to the biased towards the male gender.

The purpose of this research are to describe and distinguishing studentâ€™s learning skills achievement of high and low achievement. The research used quantitative approach using comparative descriptive type. The research conducted on students SMA Padang city that accredited A, B, and C in education 2011/2012 with population are 658 students. Number of research samples as much 120 students and in sampling using purposive sampling technique. The findings of this research revealed that (1) are generally high-achieving students 'skills in both categories, (2) skills of underachieving students in both categories, (3) analysis of t test results revealed there were differences in high-achieving students' learning skills and learning skills of students underachieving high schools in the city of Padang. Counselor are expected to help improve learning skills by providing guidance and counseling services to suit the needs of students, for consideration BK programming services in maintaining, developing and improving students' learning skills.

The depth of the relationship in counseling is key in determining the success of counseling. The method used in this study is the survey method. The sample in the study involved as many as 36 counselors. The instrument used is the Rational Depth Frequency Scale (RDFS). The data analysis technique uses Rasch modeling with the winstep program version 4.45. Researchhas revealed that in general counselors have a depth of relationship in the counseling process. Where the counselor in the moment of depth of the relationship feels intense security, genuineness, empathy, and positive acceptance in the counseling process. The counselor feels what the counselor is going through, the counselor openly conveys his problems because of the counselor's warm and pleasant acceptance attitude. The depth of the counselor relationship in the counseling process as one of the factors of success and effectiveness of counseling. The results of this study can be used as preliminary data to examine more deeply the depth of the relationship in the counseling process in terms of counseling
